There's so much going on in SoT that it is likely to miss some details that actually are quite "important" to notice. So here, I list the top 5 list of details you most certainly missed in SoT.

#5 Jacky and the Azure Flute

It may have seemed like an insignificant thing, but it actually sort of was intended. Recall that Jacky's surname is Heavens? As it's not unknown, "heaven" is considered a place regarded in various religions as the abode of God (or the gods). And she was the one who summoned the Pokémon God, Arceus, with the help of the Azure Flute. A little side fact is that "Jacky" means "god is gracious". That's a sweet and nice detail you most certainly missed.

#4 Jayden's pendant

Actually, most people think that the Arceus' ring pendant Jayden possessed was given to him by Nate as a sign he belonged to the monastery. But that actually isn't quite the case. In Nimbasa Festival Arc, when Mari and Jayden encountered Lissa and some other nuns, Lissa said following: "His meaning of life rests among us, his symbol proves that. We never gave him Arceus's ring... but still, he possessed it." So actually, the pendant Jayden had and gave away to Mari, was a pendant that one of his parents owned in the past and gave to Jayden as a charm of protection.

#3 Varya and Mahtaria Heroes

It oftentimes seems quite natural, but actually, there's a story connecting both clans like connecting their heroes. While the Varyas are the clan longing for peace, the Mahtarias are the clan of fighters. That actually also goes for Mari (the one that wants to create peace) and Jayden (the one who's fighting against his fate). Also, the Varyas and Mahtarias have been fighting one another out of hatred (Mari and Jayden also hated one another at the very start) but fought alongside each other in need in the end, even if being rivals (just like Mari and Jayden who teamed up later). Also, it turns out both clans aren't that different from one another in the end- just like Mari and Jayden have a lot in common. So actually, the two of them represent the clan they're hero of very perfectly.

#2 The Faller's position

You may not have overthought the locations of where the three Fallers Kalani manipulated where positioned- but they actually were chosen intentionally.
Zain was placed at the Ruins of Conflict- and Zain waged war against the curse of oblivion. He didn't want to forget anything anymore.
Dino resided at the Ruins of Abundance- since abundance means something equal to rich or glut, it can be related to Dino's uncontrolled and insane growth of power.
And last but not least, Taji was positioned at the Ruins of Life- and actually, Taji wanted to die. He struggled to go on living with a mind that longed to die.

#1 The Chosen Ones

In case you thought the people chosen by the guardian spirits and legendaries was absolutely random- Nope. It definitely wasn't.
Let's start at the beginning.

Nael was selected the Chosen One of Conflict/War. Remember what Nael said during their meeting after school? "Fighting is our way to express our gratitude. Tapu-Koko isn't the deity of Conflict for nothing. Whether here [points at his arms] or here [points at his chest]. It is very strong, and that's why we are, as well. Everyone got his own war to win." Nael is a fighting-based character, much like Kuraiko. Also, he comes from Iki Town on Mele-Mele.

The first time the cast encountered Zeke was on the island of Akala. Also, Zeke is a very lively and enthusiastic character, so quite fitting to be the Chosen One of Life. Also, Zeke is still quite young and got his entire life ahead of him, still.

Kahua might originally live in Heahea on Akala, but during the time he was chosen, he remained on Ula-Ula island in Po Town. As the Chosen One of Abundance/Growth, it could be seen as a metaphor for Kahua's potential and increase of courage.

Keon is the Chosen One of Hope, or, as how the ruins are called in German, Ruins of Return. Keon originates from Poni... also, he was the Faller that was torn away and returned to the world- and a glimmer of hope in the final showdown as he then was finally accepted as a Chosen One and could join forces with the others to complete the tribe of six chosen ones.

Jacky is a person that is always dressing in bright and vagant clothing and she likes to present herself. So her being the Chosen One of the Sun isn't just mere coincidence.

Mari, on the other hand, is a person that is dressing rather decently. Also, she's known to love the darkness, and stargazing, especially. Being the Chosen One of the Moon suits her really well- also because Lunala called her 'a glimmer in darkness', which she mostly is to others.
