Double battles occur quite rarely in the SoT series. However, in theory, there are plenty of combinations that would turn out very... difficult til impossible to beat. Without further ado, let's dig into this.

#5 Kuraiko & Laslow

Upon knowing each other well, these two would definitely be hard to beat. Both can show incredible speed, strength and observation skills. Adding up to that are Laslow's incredible cleverness and Kuraiko's ferocious vigor. Have fun trying to go up against them if they are serious.

#4 Mari & Jacky

In fact, a long time ago, these two were a very tough team that required a lot of effort to beat. The combination of Mari's battle strength, creativity and endurance, supported by her Telepathy and Jacky's patience, cleverness, calmness and her ability of foreseeing the future was like an iron fortress. While Mari could easily thwart the opponent's plans by knowing them straight away, Jacky could see opponent actions before they were coming. However, since Jacky started sinking into her issues, her visions started occuring less frequent and especially not in battles. Mari had to take the lead most of the time to be victorious and when she would turn out having trouble in a battle, they'd most likely be doomed. Good that Mari is relentless and keeps fighting like a Pyroar.

#3 Laslow & Chris

While Laslow, the master tactician, brings in attentiveness, battle strength, vast knowledge and an ability to kinda read the enemy movements, Chris would add up perfectly with his attack and defense strength. If these two were to team up, Laslow would lead the battle and direct Chris to tackle the openings in the opponent's defense. Also, Chris would be capable of tanking pretty much damage and return a lot. These two teaming up would be a harsh combo to go up against.

#2 Mari & Jayden

Mari and Jayden literally always add up to one another. Mari's creativity and her special ability would prove helpful, and her knowledge would prevent Jayden from making mistakes similar to the ones he made in his battle against Laslow. They both have an enormous battle strength and similar fighting styles, so they would be a perfect match and just roll the opponent over.

#1 Laslow & Jayden

Even though these two indeed are exact opposites of one another, they would step up with a lot of diversity. Laslow would kind of hold back Jayden's very straight-forward and stormy battle style and let it unfold where it is required. Combining a logical mind with a strong hand covers all potential weaknesses- and would definitely be a probably invincible duo.
