Some characters in SoT aren't cool or tragic... they're just cute, and that is their traitmark. It's those characters we'll be dealing with today. Let's jump into this!

#5 Soleil Miyamoto

Actually, Soleil is a little sweetheart. When she's starting to philosophize around and dramatize, and when she's acting like a five year-old child. She also is easily offended but just as easily to be made happy again.

#4 Jayden Yagami

Jayden isn't cute in a manner we think he is. His cuteness consists of him being a candy-addict and a walking sunshine of some sorts. His sassiness and warm smiles make him really adorable at times- let alone the way he acts when Mari's around.

#3 Katsuro Kamishiro

His shyness and constant stuttering really give you the urge of protecting that lil cinnamon roll. He blushes a lot and keeps hiding behind people when he's spooked. But also, he is very cute when he's a little mischievous, like when he startled Taji with Cofagrigus' arms. He giggled like a little kid having fun.

#2 Zeke Beaumont

Zeke is actually cute as he is constantly claiming he isn't a child but totally and outright acts like one. He's energetic and lively, pretty unforgiving and excited about a lot of things.

#1 Taji Nakamura

Well, that may not surprise anyone here. Taji is the cutest character in the SoT series not only due to his horrible backstory but mostly because of how shy he can actually be, but also because he is very close to the water. He's not a crybaby crying at every damn thing. He only cries when he's desperate (and sometimes even when he's happy, which is also just adorable). In his case, you only wanna give him a hug. But Taji isn't only cute in that matter- he is also very loyal and good at cheering others up (and sometimes follows Laslow around like a dog). He used to hide behind Laslow when he encountered strangers (like Dino on the Æther Isle or the rest of the heroes' group) and blushes easily.

#5 Joshua McNary

Joshua has a shiny personality. People often refer to him as a 'gemstone' (his codename "Amber" underlines that since an amber is a gemstone and he even has a shiny Gigalith in his possession). He is a little silly given the fact that he has that habit of forming a frame with his hands when he sees something inspiring (and he sometimes has weird ideas like painting the last step of the stairs in the SE guildhall because it seems to be cursed somehow). But he also makes some really cute gestures like sewing a four-leaf clover onto Aella's Masqueris uniform as a lucky charm.

#4 Rei Mihara

The fact Rei has Narcolepsy and thus sleeps a lot makes her really cute- just like the fact she always needs something to cuddle when she's asleep (which unfortunately tends to be Jairo quite a lot, lately). She's quite sensitive (like when she was scared of someone like Yukine when he pretended to threaten someone) but also really optimistic and active if she isn't asleep (since Solace had the idea with the Worry Seed, this period of time extended).

#3 Lucian Nishiki

Lucian's greatest traitmark unfortunately are his puppy eyes. He makes them accidentally when he acts innocent or when he's happy. Lucian is a happy person most of the time, laughing or smiling a lot- but he also worries a lot (like when Taen is gone for longer than three hours, he instantly texts or calls him). It's also really sweet how he instantly defended Taen in front of everyone when Makoto uttered his mistrust towards him. It's generally cute how Lucian is constantly looking out for or after his cousin.

#2 Yukine Sentaku

Yukine is a person that is just painful to hurt. This sunshine of nature is truly kind and selfless, trying to comfort everyone if they're sad. What makes him cute too is the fact that he tends to panic really quickly. He's that one person you can never be mad at, no matter what he does. Much like Jayden, he's a candy addict, which is an underlining factor, as well. The most important thing however is that Yukine can become shy from one moment to the next. When he's embarrassed, he blushes madly and hides away. How cute! Also, part of his charm is that Yukine has a lot of issues to deal with- like the fact he can't write properly or he has a hard time focusing when he's thinking (he tends to be quickly exhausted by it). But, first and foremost, Yukine is very loyal and never leaves his friends. EVER.

#1 Jairo Fernandes

Jairo is clumsy as heck and his traitmark is his tendency to give others nicknames (Lucian: Luci, Makoto: Ma-kun or Mako, Elma: El and so on). Everyone takes an instant liking to Jairo for his honest, wild, upbeat and cheerful nature. Also, many people of the guild are caring for him (Makoto, Rei, Elma, Lucian...) so he is a risky one to attack because you will get your ass kicked with 100 percent certainty. Jairo's young age shines through a lot and he is easily to be made sad.
