Phoebe Haywood had a secret, a secret that no one could know. At least not yet.

Right now she was sitting in a compartment on the Hogwarts express, with a trunk that was too heavy and an owl that was too loud. Yes an owl. Sitting in a cage next to her trunk was a reddish brown bird  with silvery eyes, she didn't know what type of owl it was and to be honest she didn't really care. She didn't even like owls! The only reason she had this one was so she could keep in contact with Chiron and her friends from camp.

Chiron had sent her on probably the world's most boring quest ever, but she couldn't complain too much, with all the dangerous quests she had been on in the past this simple quest was a relief. She didn't know how many more life threatening experiences she could handle.

Normally people went on quests in at least threes, but for some reason she had been sent on this one by herself. However if she gave the word to Chiron that something had happened or she needed help he would immediately send over back up.

The quest was easy: go to Hogwarts (she had laughed for 5 minutes straight when she first heard the name) and keep a look out for any sign of danger. All she knew was that there was a war brewing in the wizarding world (something she still couldn't believe, wizards and witches? magic?) and that Chiron and the gods suspected this evil wizard dude had requested help from some monsters. Which apparently was a really bad thing because an army of both crazy magical people and blood thirsty monsters would be extremely hard to beat.

Phoebe had been temporarily blessed with magic by the goddess Hecate, but she had no clue what she was doing. She had received no training or preparation - she was diving head first into an unknown situation. And it set her on edge.

Phoebe had gotten to the station at 10:30 and the train left at 11:00 and, seeing as she had no one to say good bye to, as everyone she knew was in America, she got straight onto the train. Though now she was settled down she was beginning to regret getting here so early, her ADHD was kicking in and she was finding it hard to sit still. She didn't know how she was going to survive the six hour journey.

Since she had nothing else to do she decided she'd try and catch up on some shut-eye, the whole time difference thing was really messing with her sleep. So, putting her hood up, she leaned against the window, shut her eyes and almost instantly fell asleep. However it was not a peaceful sleep. Her dreams were plagued with flashbacks of all the monsters and battles she'd narrowly survived: furies, venti, the Minotaur, chimera and so many more you could write a book about them. It wasn't nice but it was just something you got used to when you were a demigod.
