Backstory: Hope's more so his sister then his cousin sense his father took her in so the two of them were brought up together. When his father decided to move a year after Hope being kidnapped, he collapsed to his knees, refusing to leave as he sobbed. She'd be back, he swore. And he was right. Yet... It would have taken a fool not to notice her trust issues. He noticed when she tensed up when he hugged her out of joy.
