So, this is kinda set in like a high school where they're all there and stuff so yeah
Teddy Boy John Lennon was the guy you wouldn't want to step on the wrong foot with. He wasn't exactly seen as scary, but he sure wasn't the kinda guy you say 'followed the rules'. He had the tough group and like he would tell everyone, "...won't take no shit from anyone."
No girl had exactly found interest in him. Actually, most peoole thought he was rude for not waving back in the halls. But there was one girl that loved him; Cynthia Powell.
"Tell him!" Cynthia's friend, Linda Eastman urged. Linda was kind of shy. She was a vegan, president of the yearbook club, and quite the animal activist. And to add on, she was an exchange student from New York.
"God, no! I just couldn't!"
"Tell. Him."
"You never know, he may like you, too!" Maureen Cox, another one of Cynthia's friends added. A tad shy, Maureen was sensitive with a short temper.
"No way am I just walking over there!"
"Cynthia, you've gotta do it someday!" Pattie encouraged. She was one of the most popular girls in school. She started trends and had almost every boy chasing her. But she was dating someone no one expected; George Harrison. Part of John's gang, he was this tall, awkward, skinny boy, which was odd since he was hungry %99.99999999999999 of the time.
"I've said it once and I'll say it again, NO."
"You have to!!!" The three urged again.
"Well, why don't you guys talk with your lads?"
"Well, Ritchie's in the hospital," Maureen said, her voice trailing off.
"Georgie's talking with Eric..." Pattie said, pointing to the two farther off in the hall.
"And I'm a lone wolf," Linda said with a shrug and smirk.
"Okay, okay, fine," Cynthia gave in. As she took slow and achy steps to John as he wasn't looking, she took a pause, turned around, and quickly ran back as her shoes clicked on the tiles. "Tomorrow," she sighed.
The bell rang, sending the serene hallway into buzzing mayhem, as students rushed to their homerooms.
"Shit!" Linda exclaimed scrambling to grab her things. As Linda scurried get to 208, she crashed into someone by mistake and in a blur, knocking her and him down. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She exclaimed.
"No, no, it wasn't your fault, I didn't look-" as the two scrambled to get their books, they accidentally hit each other's heads, making them laugh a little. They both looked up and their eyes met. It seemed as though time stood still.
"I'm... Linda..." she finally uttered out.
"I'm... Paul..."
As he walked by in the hallway, a different John, Linda's older brother noticed this in the hallway and paused briefly before continuing making his way to class.
"Ahem," a teacher said as she stuck her head out of the classroom. Paul turned around. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe you and Miss Eastman do have classes to get to, isn't that right, Mr. McCartney?"
"Oh, uh..."
Linda ran to her English class, not wanting to be embarrassed by being late.
"That's what I thought. Now get to class before-" the teacher was cut off as the bell rang. Paul cursed under his breath. He was late for class now. He ran to his next period after getting a late note. That bird was so beautiful, he thought. He was hoping fate would let him run into her again.
