i thought you didn't like me anymore?

when we were sitting with our friends and your girlfriend suddenly left to go work on a group project in the library,

your hand accidentally brushed against my thigh.

it made me let out this gasp that i was insanely appreciative was covered up by everyone's talking.

instead of you just removing your hand like i thought you would,

you kept it there and lightly squeezed it when i looked at you in confusion.

though i'm not sure the motive behind it,

it meant a lot to know you didn't hate me like i thought you did.
