The team was all in the bio ship heading off towards their mission. Wally kept glancing over at Robin but Robin kept his eyes fixed forward. He seemed to be trying to escape everything, especially the concern that Wally seemed to have for him.

They soon arrived. Robin disappeared from the group and then after a few moments appeared before them.

"Damn Robin!" yelled Wally. He hated when Robin did that. Robin gave a little smile and then explained what was before them. They split up and all headed towards the warehouse. Once inside the fight quickly began, many armed men were inside protecting something alien.

Robin was feeling very weak but he couldn't allow himself to be right now and he totally couldn't let on to his team mates that he was weak. He continued to fight but as the battle grew on, it got harder and harder to stay totally strong. Wally raced around the room and then stopped for a second to caught his breath, as he did he took this chance to check up on his best friend. He noticed that Robin wasn't doing so well and just as he was about to race over towards him an explosion went off. Wally sat up and coughed. The whole room was covered in thick smoke. M'gann voice ranged through his head. He could hear everyone's voice except Robin's. Panic filled him up.
"Where's Robin?" questioned Kid Flash through the mind link. He got up and walked around to find M'gann and Connor. Just as he met them and masked man fell to the ground. Robin then appeared out of no where and tied the man up right before disappearing back into the smoke.

"Robin!" yelled Kid Flash, but he got no answers. A few armed men began attacking and this gave Kid Flash no chance to find Robin, soon the smoke cleared. Standing in the room was everyone except for Robin, Wally let out a sigh. They got the alien tech and was heading back out towards the bio ship. Kid Flash on the other hand was speeding off everywhere in search for Robin.

Just as everyone was getting on the ship an explosion went off in the near by woods, causing everyone to stop and then head off towards it. Once Wally arrived to the explosion, he could see his best friend in the middle of a fight. Wally was then quickly knocked off his feet and looked up to see poison Ivy standing before him. The others soon arrived and faced off with other members of the injustice league.

Robin was busy fighting with The Joker, someone who has been in his life for many years.

Robin flipped backwards and The Joker laughed.
"Boy Wonder, you are all mine! Hahahaha" He flipped open his pocket knife and smiled at Robin. Robin dodged and jumped away from the mad man slinging the blade through the air. The rest of the team was busy in their own fight. Wally glanced over towards his best friend for a moment before being hit hard in the gut.
The fight between the young justice team and the injustice continued to grow on.

Joker's blade made contact with Robin's arm and he then suddently kicked Robin in the chest, sending him down onto the ground. Just as he laid on the ground, with the wind knocked out of his chest, vines wrapped around his wrists and ankles.
Right when the thick vines touched his sore wrist, it caused Robin to wince and yell out in pain. Wally heard this and turned around quickly to see the scene unfolding before him. The Joker laughed and came closer to the boy wonder. Just as Wally was about to go to him he heard M'gann scream out in pain.
His eyes met Robin's and he nodded his head, that showed Kid Flash that he was alright and to help out the others. Wally sighed and sprinted off to the team.

"Sooo little birdy, wanna play a game?" The Joker said, with his red smile plastered upon his white face.

Everyone was distracted with the battle, but the team was winning and it was all coming to an end.

But, The Joker had taken Robin off in the distance to play a little game with him, which only made Robin hate himself even more and see himself as not good enough. He was taken down by the Joker so easily, he should have done more, fought harder. If he wasn't so weak and stupid right now he would have won but no he wasn't good enough and what would Batman think if he saw all of this. He would see a child who wasn't good enough to be a hero, who wasn't a hero, just a useless nothing.

Robin closed his eyes and for a moment just allowed The Joker to carve into his pale skin, but he knew that he had to show nothing in front of team so he slowly reached into his belt, with a bat-rang and some smoke pelts. He threw his weapon and it landed within the Joker's shoulder, sending him backwards, far enough away from him to flip up onto his feet in his fighting stance. He threw his smoke pelts down and hid in the smoke and then attacked the mad man before him.

It only took him a few seconds before he took him down. The smoke cleared away to reveal his team before him, M'gann laying still in Connor's arms. Robin lowered his brows and rushed over to his friends.

"What happened? Is Miss. M okay?" asked Robin with worry within his voice.
Superboy walked towards the bio ship and left Kid Flash, Aqualad and Robin standing alone with the injustice league all on the ground.

"She shall be fine. Poison Ivy attacked M'gann and then trapped her by some fire. It has just weaken her, she shall be alright my friend. But how are you?" Aqualad asked. He looked down at the youngest team member, who had many cuts on his chest, legs and arms. His nose was bleeding, and was possibly broken, and a small bruise was forming on his jaw.

Robin quickly glanced over at Kid Flash before returning to look at their leader. He smiled and patted Aqualad on the shoulder.

"I'm fine, totally feeling the aster right now, just a few cuts, nothing I can't handle." said Robin in his normal cheery voice and looked back at Kid Flash before racing off towards the bio ship.

Just as Wally began to follow, Aqualad place his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"Friend, I am worried about Robin, he seems distant and off."

Wally looked back at the bio ship, and flashes of images of the hours before the mission came into his mind, his best friend bloody on the bathroom floor. He knew that Aqualad should know what was going on with their team mate, their friend but he knew that it was all Robin's business and he should be the one to tell the others not him.

"I'm sure he is fine. Just a little tired from the mission. It's Robin." Wally said and got onto the bio ship, leaving Aqualad standing there, not fully convinced.

[Back at the Mountain]

M'gann had woken up and held a smile on her face and told everyone that she was alright. Connor stayed close to her just in case.
Everyone had changed from their uniforms and were relaxing around, waiting for Batman to report how everything had gone on the mission. Wally was busy in the kitchen eating, building back up his energy after the fight, so even he didn't noticed that his best friend didn't return from his room to join the others.

Robin sat still on his bed, with his mask in his hands. He ran his fingers over it and sighed. This mission was a success but he had failed which meant that it was a failure, like himself. He closed his eyes and allow himself to fall back upon his bed, in the dark room.
