         "HES EMBARRASSING." Devyn groaned into the palms of her hands as Ollie hysterically giggled beside her. "Like actually—why is he the way he is." She laughed at her father's messages, re-reading everything he had said with his excessive emojis and subtle sad humor.

"I'm so excited to meet him. Like I can't wait." Ollie slowly calmed down as he spoke through little laughs. "He sounds so fun!"

"They took it better than I expected." Devyn admitted. "But maybe that's because I was overthinking." She pursed her lips as Ollie continued to snack on the pretzels they had bought.

"You did good." He smiled as she got a notification on her phone. "Proud of you!"

"Shit—" Devyn groaned at the sight of her screen  pool. "My stats class is mandatory tomorrow morning." Her tone filled with irritation. "Damnit."

"You have to go?"

"I don't want to. So I won't." She shrugged. "I only have little time to spend with you left."

"Your mother said to not let me distract you! And I cannot let myself disobey your mother." Ollie sighed as Devyn groaned in his face.

"What if I attended with you?" Ollie subtly quirked a brow. His tone very hesitant as he wasn't sure if what he suggested was a good idea. "Isn't it a big lecture?"

"You'd willingly do that?" She looked at him with a concerned expression.

"I mean, yeah.." He shrugged. "I've always wanted to have a real university experience anyways, so why not?"

"It's a pain in the ass... trust me..." Devyn laughed in his face as he reached over to feed her a pretzel. "It's not what you think it is."

"First and last time I'll wake up for an 8:00 AM class." Ollie insisted. "Like you said, we have little time to spend with each other left, so why not?"

"Whatever you decide." She threw her arms up, "But if you're promising me, you have to wake up and participate in class."

"Deal." He nodded. "Pinky promise." He held his pinky out for her to take as she stared at it in awe.

Ollie raised an eyebrow expectantly, prompting Devyn to finally intertwine hers with his. "Perfect," He murmured, a smile tugging at her lips before he leaned in for a gentle kiss, sending a flutter of butterflies through her stomach, a sensation she still hadn't grown accustomed to.

"Well then, it's time for us to go to sleep." Remarked with a slight pout, her lips pursing playfully. "Unfortunate, I know." She paused. "But since you insist we go to class tomorrow—"

"Oh, hush." He cut her off with a snicker. "I think it'll be fun! It's very random. People will definitely know I'm not in that class."

"Oh fuck." Devyn grumbled. "Now that just reminds me that Marcus' friends are in that class."

"Even better." Ollie smiled.

"NOT BETTER!" She argued. "We are sitting in the back and minding our business actually."

"If you insist." He sighed, wrapping up the bag of pretzels and setting in on her shelf before grabbing her water bottle to drink from it.

"Oh, yeah just go ahead and do that" She quirked a brow as this was his first time ever doing that casually.

"Oh—Sorry, do you not like sharing drinks?—"

"I'm kidding, you doof." Her lips quickly tugged into a smile as his eyes softened from his sudden fear. "I don't care." She laughed. "And your lips have literally—Nevermind." She stopped herself.

"Well, yeah." He cockily shrugged before sipping her water again, receiving a small shove at his shoulder from her.

"Come on." Devyn hopped off the bed. "Get your toothbrush. We shall freshen up for the night and then go to bed." She walked across the room to grab her bathroom essentials.

"Help me up..." Ollie sighed as he was still bed ridden, unable to get up from her comfortable bed sheets and blankets.

"God forbid." She grumbled through a laugh, reaching a hand out to help him and happily did so as he stood up and quickly placed a kiss on her head before ruffling her hair.

"Romantic." Devyn glanced at him as she was now stood by the door with her keys and bathroom caddy, waiting for him to grab his things.

"Always!"

also fun fact, people first year of college are soooo quick to date so this isn't uncommon... i know so many people in uni that started dating after two weeks of knowing each other and they made it through the entire year. CRAZY!!!
