               KNOWING RENEÉ was a deep sleeper, but still wanting to keep their conversation private, Devyn grabbed her airpod's from the shelf above her and stuck her usual glasses on her face since she had no contacts in.

Taking a deep breath, Devyn opened her phone and looked into her camera to look decently presentable as she was about to facetime a guy she had barely known for a week, who also happened to be famous...

It felt like a huge deal... she was freaking out.

Looking over at Reneé who was sound asleep and slightly snoring, she let out a laugh before finally proceeding to call Ollie.

The phone rang about two times before he answered, smiling into the camera eagerly as Devyn let out a small laugh.

"Hi." She smiled nervously as she saw Ollie laid in bed as well, their phones being their only source of light.

"Hi!" He said happily before she saw he reached over and turned on a bedside lamp that shined his face, making her screen go brighter, shining her face as well.

"You look good." He complimented. "Nice glasses."

"Stop.." She blushed into a smile as he laughed at how she crumbled at his words. "I can't do this if you're gonna be like that." She looked to the side, nervous.

"Your American accent is cuter than I imagined." He continued to tease and flirt, making her flustered.

"You're actually too much, it's making me sick." She laughed. "Your British accent is just as I imagined."

"Really?" He asked.

"Well it's not the first time Ive heard it." Devyn admitted. "Your Instagram has a lot of videos of you talking."

"Oh." He bit down a smile. "Do you stalk it often?" He laughed. "Oh my god, shut up." Devyn silently laughed into her hand. "You are such a freak."

"I can't help it." He said admittedly. "Anyways, how have you been? Tell me everything." Ollie continued the conversation as he leaned against his bed, resting a hand behind his head.

"Okay don't do that-" Devyn said as she noticed his position. "You look a little too good." She said shyly as he looked to the side to hide his rosy cheeks.

"Proceed." He laughed at her.

"Not much happened." Devyn shrugged. "But I did have an Environmental Ethics exam on Wednesday which I got a 90 on." She said proudly.

"Yeah?" Ollie said happily. "That's awesome! I'm proud of you!" He smiled as she laughed at his excitement. "Thank you! I studied hard. I would've cried if I didn't do good." She admitted.

"Hmm... what else.." She thought to herself. "Oh, one of my neighbors got a dorm cat, and he's just the cutest thing ever."

"A dorm cat?" He said in confusion.

"Yeah! He's an emotional support pet." She got quiet. "They're aloud. I kinda want one."

"You should get one." He supported her decisions. "Don't tempt me." Devyn quickly replied. "No, I fully believe you should get one and name it Oliver."

"Oh!" She held in a laugh. "I'd rather not." She shook her head as he scoffed. "Yeah right, I know you'd love that."

"You're actually so ridiculous." Devyn grinned. "Continue with your week, as you were." He ignored her remark, smiling happily. "Honestly, nothing much happened." She thought to herself, adjusting her glasses.

"Oh wait! My family went on vacation to Japan." She said with a brief tone of disappointment. "Like whatever... could've visited me but they went to Japan instead." She laughed. "Without me..." Her voice filled with pettiness.

"But their care package came in yesterday. They got me a lot of cool things!"

"Yeah? Like what?"

"My roommate is asleep so I can't show you without disturbing her, but do you know what Miffy is?" She laughed, getting a little shy since she was about to nerd out.

"No, what is that?" He laughed making her nod.

"I figured." She giggled. "But she's this bunny character that I like a lot, so my parents sent me a lot of stuffed animals of her, and some key chains and posters." She said admittedly, looking to the side in embarrassment.

"Oh yeah, that's sweet! I just searched her up, she's a cute little guy." He smiled as she held in a laugh.

"Yeah, and then my brother sent me some japanese candies we loved eating together while growing up." Devyn finished.

"Any recommendations?" Ollie asked happily. "In case I ever go there." He shrugged. "Or maybe you take me one day-"

"Oh, stop it." Devyn laughed. "I don't have one but I don't know the name of it." She admitted, "But they're like this butter cookie and they're just so good."

"Ahhh, you're just gonna have to take me then."

"Oliver, you are SO..." She quietly laughed, looking over at Reneé who was sound asleep.

"Are you actually this bold in person?" Devyn asked as he began to laugh. "Nope." He responded with a smile. "Truthfully, I think I'm just different with you because it's fun to make you flustered."

"Ha. Ha." Devyn sarcastically laughed. "It's not very fun for me because feeling like this this is disgusting." She expressed.

"I think you like it actually!"

"I'm hanging up." She said with no expression as he began to freak out. "NO!" He got scared. "No, stay!" He begged as Devyn began to laugh.

"If you insist." She rolled her eyes in sarcasm as he laughed in response. "Hm. But how have you been?" Devyn continued the conversation.

"What have you been up to? You know... besides ghosting me and what not." She joked.

"Oh, shut up!" Ollie bursted into laughter as she felt proud of her joke. "The day after we last talked is when I broke my phone, my friend Kimi kept pushing me while I was taking a picture of this pretty view we saw, I actually wanted to send it to you but.. you know." He shrugged.

"Then I had back to back practices, gym sessions, and meetings.." He admitted. "Took a while to find the time to get a new phone."

"Yeah, yeah... that's what they all say." Devyn sarcastically looked to the side, sighing.

"Devyn!" Ollie subtly groaned her name. "It's the truth!" He laughed as she shook her head.

"You're telling me you didn't send me letters via pigeon with the time you were gone? Or telepathically communicated to me that you broke your phone?" She asked.

"You're so right, actually." Ollie groaned into his hands. "I should've thought of that." He sighed. "Actually..." He paused. "I did telepathically communicate to you that my phone broke! I guess you didn't get it." He said with a frown.

"Oh." Devyn matched his expression. "I guess it's not meant to be. Maybe we should move on from this and never look back..."

"Yeah... maybe." Ollie sighed.

"KIDDING!" Devyn slightly exclaimed. Covering her mouth as Ollie laughed hard. She looked to her right? afraid that she might've woken up Reneé with her volume...

but Thankfully she didn't.

Their call continued on, Ollie talking about himself and Devyn sharing more about her life, calling all night, up until they both fell asleep. Devyn forgot every sliver of anxiety and stress she had, happy to be talking to him, and this time through a FaceTime call.

Waking up the next morning, Ollie was waiting for her to wake up, and she soon briefly did while Reneé was still fast asleep. He bid her a goodbye before he hung up to start his day, and the two happily agreed to talk again later.

All while Devyn forgot she had a date on Sunday.
