*This chapter is in Collins point of view in case anyone gets confused*

My worry for Ivory was growing as more and more as the minutes ticked by. My hands itched to call her back, just to make sure she is okay and has stopped crying.
Hearing Ivy cry made me on full alert. "Come on," I muttered to myself. "Get your adorable butt here." My bags full of clothes were beside the door for us to leave.
I looked at the time, it was quite sometime since she called me and she should be pulling into my driveway soon.
CRASH!
A loud sound outside made me jump, I looked through the window to see three cars in the middle of the road.
It was a car crash.
I slipped on my shoes and my jacket before running outside towards the people who gotten in a wreck.
"Someone call 911!" One of my neighbors- Ruby- an elder woman with an obsession with the color green. That's all she wore, green nail polish, green clothing, green make up, green hair clips. The only thing that wasn't green was her skin, hair and teeth. Her eyes were the a jade green of course.
A tall man was on his phone calling for the emergency. I walked towards Ruby who was trying to get the people out of their cars. A few other people were helping Ruby.
I froze when they pulled someone out. At first, I didn't recognize who it was mostly from all the blood.
Aburn hair was caked in blood dotted with snow and her skin was pale. Two men laid Ivory down carefully and I ran towards her.
My knees hit the cold, winter snow. Not even bothering that the snow was soaking my jeans as I cradled her in my arms.
"Ivy," my voice was soft but cracked at the end.
Her eyes slowly opened, only in little slits. She has a huge gash on her forehead. Her lips were pale and dry with blood on them. She had internal bleeding, I smoothed down some hair that was in her face.
"Ivy, no." My voice was raw with emotion.
Her eyes were dropping. "Hey!" I yelled at Ruby. She turned to look at me with panick in her eyes. "Where is the ambulance!?!!"
"It should be on the way!" Ruby said. "That girl, you know her?"
I bit my lip looking down at her small frame, her eyes were peeking up at mine. I didn't ansee Ruby.
"Ivy," I said. "Baby, I'm so sorry. The ambulance is on their way."
She moaned in pain, coughing up more blood. Her shirt's front was caked in blood, glass had cut her all over her face and arms. A big piece of glass was in her stomach and I whimpered.
"You're going to be okay." I assured her even though I didn't kmow if it was true or not.
She was loosing a lot of blood, she was dying on me. That couldn't happen.
"I...." She struggled for words. My eyes were stinging and my heart was beating loudly in my ears.
"Ivory," I made her eyes open again.
"I..I'm sorry," she croaked.
I almost choaked. I moved a few pieces of her hair away from her face once again. "It's okay baby. You'll be okay."
She shook her head a bit then winced from the pain. "Butt...hurt..jerk," she slowly said. "I...love..you.."
"No," I gripped her a bit tighter. "You aren't leaving me, no." My insides sunk deep down. Her eyes kept fluttering closed and the light out of her eyes fading into nothing. Her life was fading and I had no idea how to help her.
"Ivory, please don't leave me." I pleaded with her." Her eyes were fully closed now- her shallow breathing had stopped completely.
I looked back at her, hoping she had passed out, but it wasn't true. Suddenly, I couldn't see her anymore because my eyes were full of tears and i laid my head on her.
The sobs overtook my body like my lover for her hit me suddenly. I was murmuring to her, gently rocking her.
I murmured the same four words over and over. "I love you, cupcake."

When the ambulance came they helped the other injured drivers. Ruby and the other people didn't come near me at all and I was grateful.
"Sir," a voice said. My murmurs were barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry for your loss, but we will need to, uh-"
"What is going on here!??!!" It was my dads voice. I didn't dare look at him or anyone else.
My mind couldn't comprehend that she was gone. "Collins. ." My dad said softly to me. "Son, you need to get up. They need to. . " he trailed off when he saw who was dead before him.
Ivory.
"No," My dad breathed out. "My God, Jenny is going to be devastated." Jenny, Ivory's mom, hadn't even crossed my mind at all.
I didn't react, I still curled myself again Ivory who was unresponsive.
"Collins, you need to get up. You don't want to get sick." He told me. And I'd rather get sick any day as long as I can just stay here for a little while longer.
Eventually my dad had to grab me by my arm and force me to get off the ground. My shirt had Ivory's blood on it and I didn't care, I was stating down at her now lifeless body. They picked her up and put her on a gurney.
Her skin was pale and her blood was drying. Her hair was hanging down and suddenly everything I ate today decided to come up and out of my stomach.
***
"Collins," my dad called. "Get downstairs. It's time for the funeral."
I was wearing a button up shirt and dress pants, I didn't care what I was wearing. I had my phone in my hand rereading every text message we've sent each other.
"Col-"
"I'm coming!" I yelled, but tripped on something. I looked down to see a soda, that wasn't open, on the floor. It was the same soda I had dropped when Ivory decided to kiss me when she didn't get the soda.
I kneel by the soda and I stare blankly in space- the tears seemed to want to stay put for now.
I was crying and screaming on the inside, the outside I was completely quiet.
Somehow, I forced myself to pull myself up and go to my Dad's car and let him drive towards Ivory's funeral.
"Collins!" Her mom saw me and hugged me tightly crying. "I-I wish I knew about the two of you before. . . We got in a fight before she. . . she-" her sobs stabbed me and almost drove me over the edge in tears.
"I just wish she knew how sorry I was!" My dad hugged Ivory's mom and I walked away from then and went outside.
I signed and ran my fingers through my hair.
God, I missed her.
"S-She left a note." A voice behind me said.
I turned towards the sound. "What?"
Austin looked hurt and pissed at the same time. "I went in her room after w-we found out what happened. . . . " he took a deep breath. "The two of you were together for a while, sneaking around. And you two were planning on running away, weren't you?"
I was speechless, mostly because I didn't want to talk at all. So I said quietly. "Yes."
"You son of a-"
"Go ahead, blame me. I know that's what you're going to do. Don't waste the energy fighting with me because frankly, I'm not in the mood for all this." I said and walked away and backed into the funeral.
I was at the funeral, then I wasn't. I couldn't get myself to go look at her in the casket.
I just couldn't.
I felt like I was sleepwalking and I was lost within myself, everyone thought I was there with them, but I was somewhere else.
I didn't talk much to anyone, I left the funeral and went to the junkyard.
I sat on the old, rusty car and just stared. It didn't feel like she was really gone. I didn't want her to.
Why did she have to die? There is many more cruel, evil people that deserved to be taken away instead.
I didn't want the 'It all happens for a reason' advice, I wanted the it's unfair and isn't right advice.
I found the carving I made with Ivory sitting not far away and I choked on a sob.
And, for that, I was grateful for Ivory having her in a part of my life.
Our little forever had been expired; cut off suddenly, but it will never be forgotten.
The end.
__________
Hey guys! This is the ending! I know it seems kind of straightforward, but I hoped you liked it. And I know this story is not a cliché story.
This story is an example that not every love story let it be in a book or you life, won't always be cliché and that while something good is happening and it's amazing, something bad can happen suddenly.
Please don't kill me for doing this. I love every single one who has read and vote and commented.
I'm glad you have enjoyed this story.
