Chapter 36: Kisssy Faces

"Did you Collins around the house?" My mom asks as she sets food on plates around the table we only eat at all together on special occasions.

I nodded my head, sitting down at the table. Collins nonchalantly sat beside me, making me smile on the inside. "You sure do have a lovely home." Collins told my mom with politeness.

I looked at my brother who was looking at his food in obvious hunger, his eyes hungrily gazing at the plate full of food.

"Austin, it's food not a bathing suit model magazine full of chicks." I chuckled and he looked up with amusement and a fake glare.

"Come on, this is, like, the only action I've got in a while!" Joked Austin. He looked at Collins with a glare. Austin was probably pissed at Collins.

My mom's fork hit her plate in shock. "You better just be joking, you are too young for action right now."

Man, if only my mom knew what just happened upstairs a few moments ago. Collins seems to be thinking the same thing because his foot nudges mine. Suppressing a laugh, I pick up my fork and begin to eat.

"This is really good," my brother said.

My mom smiled. "Thanks. Ryan helped me a bit." They both looked at each other and smiled.

"You know, I am trying to eat and I don't want to throw up by watching the two of you stare at each other. It looks like you are tearing off each others clothes with your eyes." I grumble and take a drink of my water.

Collins pokes my thigh and I look at him through my hair, he's smirking. I resist the urge to roll my eyes, so I poke his knee.

"Oh, Ivory, we weren't doing that. . . . .yet." My mom said.

"Mom!" Austin and I both yelled.

Her face turned bright red. "I was kidding!" Ryan laughed and kissed her cheek.

Collins, Austin, and I awkwardly looked away.

"It's okay, kids, you all will have this," Ryan waved in between him and my mom. "one day. Then you'll laugh and remember this moment."

I couldn't help but think, I already have that. I slowly put a hand on his thigh, circling my thumb. Collins cleared his throat, straightening up.

I kept eating my food with my free hand as if nothing was happening under the table. Austin was texting away on his phone while Ryan and my mom talked, zoning in on each other.

Collins seemed to be affected by my hand on his thigh, so I slowly trailed upwards. His neck was getting red, so were his cheeks a little bit. I was enjoying this a little too much.

He choked on his food when I reached as high as I could go. Everyone's eyes whipped his way from his loud noise of choking. He grabbed his glass of water, gulping loudly before saying. "Sorry, got some food caught in my throat and choked."

"You're okay though, right?" Ryan asked his son.

"Oh, yeah, me- totally fine." Collins tried to play it cool. "Just except the food getting stuck in my throat."

Ryan slowly nodded, watching him carefully. "Um, well okay."

Collins glared at me and I held back a giggle. Little did I notice the intense stare from my brother watching Collins and I.

"The dinner was amazing," Ryan said. "We should keep doing this. Dinner, I mean."

My mom smiled. "Thanks Ryan. And we sure can if you'd like."

"Bye Ryan." I said. "Bye Collins."

"Bye!" Ryan and Collins said at the same time before they walked out. Without anyone paying attention to Collins and I he makes a kissy face at me. Before I can make one back Ryan closes they door and leaves.

"No one ever says bye to me." Austin grumbled.

"Bye Austin!" I joked.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm laughing so hard."

"You should be, I'm hilarious." My mom went to go take a shower while Austin and I w ere in the living room.

"So what's up with you and Collins?" He asked me curiously.

"I don't know what you even mean." I said.

"The two of you staring at one another, the two of you sure were gone for a little too long,"  he explains. "The two of you sneaking glances at one another at the table also."

"Um, wow, you're just paranoid, Austin." I shake my head. "I wish it was something more."

Austin bites his lip."I may be just a little paranoid. I'm sorry, it's just that I'm worried that he will hurt you again. I'm already pissed at him for hurting you even though I know he had to, it's just that I would rather you not be hurt."

I felt guilty for lying to him. Does that make me a bad person? I bit my lip, looking down and he continued.

"Even though I may be mean or rude to you, at the end of the day your my sister and I love you. I always will, even if you are a jerk to me and we get in fights. I don't like seeing you hurt or having someone hurt you." Austin confessed. "I just wanted to know if the two of you were. Just to make sure."

Guilt and sadness filled my insides. Instead I said, "Uh, we aren't. But I love you too, Austin."

He put a hand to his heart. "I'm glad I'm loved." The sound of the shower stopped and soon enough my mom was coming out of her room with wet hair.

"Wanna watch a movie?" She asked.

"Sure," my brother said.

I looked at my mom. "I don't think I will. I'm really tired, I'm going to go to bed."

"Okay that's fine." My mom nodded her head and put the movie in. "Night."

"Night." I said and went to my room.

I nearly peed myself when I saw someone laying in my bed. Grabbing a hair brush, I slowly walked towards the body that it's back was facing me.

"Ima get you, ya little rascal." I muttered as I raised my hand with the hair brush and made contact with the person's shoulder.

I hit harder again and a yelp of pain left the person, they turned around. I gasped, "Collins?!?!"

"Ivory! What the hell!" He put a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey! Be quiet my mom and brother are downstairs." I set the brush down. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"Do you not want me here?" He asked still rubbing his shoulder. "That's gonna leave a bruise."

"Of course I want you here." I ruffled his hair. "Just didn't expect you'd come here, that's all. And it should leave a bruise, so every time you see it you'll remember me."

"I know another way you can leave a mark on my body." He said looking me up and down.

My face flushed and I shook my head. "Maybe later."

His eyes met mine. "What about now?"

I shook my head. "Nope."

He rolled his eyes. "First, you hit me with a hairbrush, which by the way, could not  really hurt someone too bad to stop getting you." He continued. "Second, you don't want to ease my pain by giving me a nice little reminder that you were there."

"Why do you want me to give you a hickie so bad? You've never gave me one." I crossed my arms.

He stood up and walked over to me, he pulled down my shirt a bit. "I did, cupcake." Sure enough there was a mark where my sweet spot was he had kissed.

"I-I didn't even know-" I was cut off when he kissed my ear mixed with a small nibble.

I shivered and grabbed his shoulder for support. "C-Collins?"

His eyes met mine. "Hmm?"

"What did you come here again out of the blue without me knowing?" I asked him lowly.

One of his hands slipped onto the lower part of my back. "Did you really think after you did that to me at the table you'd just get away with it?" His nose rubbed against my cheek. His other hand titled my head back, brushing his lips to mine which left me wanting more.

"M-Maybe." I answered. He went to my jaw, leaving wet kisses.

"You do know I'm going to get you back," his hand holding my neck lightly trailed down to my hips. "Want to know how I'm going to get you back?"

My whole body felt like fire under his touch, my body tingled and I was light headed. "Yes," I said softly.

Butt hurt jerk slowly kissed my neck and I gripped his hair, gasping. "The thing I want to do," he kissed my ear, nibbling a little again. His hand lightly squeezed my bottom and I yelped lowly. "Is. . . ." he trailed off as his one hand trailed all the way back to my chest then my cheek. "Take you to Get Away Delight!"

He pulled away, smiling lightly. "Let's go!"

"Are you serious?" I asked him, flustered.

"As serious as can be." He stated honestly. "Now, let's go."

"You are such a tease," I shook my head.

"I only learned from the best," his smile grew. "Now you see how I feel when you did that to me at the table."

I shook my head. "You're so mean."

"Boo hoo," he teased. "Now are you coming or not, cupcake? We can continue our little-" he made a kissy face. "thing later."

I gave him a kissy face back. "Fine, butt hurt jerk."

"Ahh, the old nickname. Boy, have I missed it." He said. "But not as much as I missed you."

I locked my bedroom door just in case my mom or brother wanted to come check on me, they couldn't get in. And at that, we climbed out of  my window together.
