Chapter 26:Our Little Forever
"Still waiting for the kiss." Jerk face says in a sweet voice as we exit the school after detention.
I don't say a word, I just keep walking towards his car. When he starts the car, he turns to me with a sigh. "Still waiting."
I unbuckle, turning towards him. "Why can't you just kiss me?"
He grins shyly. "Because I want you to kiss me."
"Why can't you?" I get nervous.
His smile gets wider. "I'd like to ask you the same thing."
I sigh, leaning closer towards him. He unbuckles, leaning towards me which makes my body fill with tingles.
I shyly put my hands on his shoulders and let them slide towards his jaw, tracing it. His breathing has changed and so has mine.
I lean closer, our breaths mixing together. I part my lips and slowly lean towards his lips. The lightly press together, almost in a teasing way.
His hands slowly slip past my hands to the lower part of my back, pulling me somewhat closer as the console is the barrier. His other hand slides in my hair.
I press my lips harder against his, he reacts by pressing our lips harder also.
And, like before, our lips dance. Not in a regular dance, in our on dance that we could create.
Our breathing quickens just as our kisses get hotter. His hands move to cup my face, while mine stay at his shoulders.
After what seems like our little forever, we both pull away.
"Whoa," he says with wide eyes. "I should ask for kisses from you more."
"Yeah," I say almost in a daze from him. "I'd like that."
He leans over, gives me a quick kiss and then starts the car. "I shall ask more often."
"Mom is so going to get after you." Austin says as I walk in the house after bidding jerk face goodbye.
"Yeah," I sigh. "I know." And she probably was going to.
"What did you do?" He asks, getting a drink from the fridge.
I tell him what jerk face and I had done, making him laugh.
"Good job at spilling food all over Mr. Murphy," Austin said. "He deserved it! But it's going to be hilarious when you get in trouble."
"You know," I narrow my eyes. "I kinda wish I had spilled food all over some other people right now."
He rolls his eyes. "The two of you probably did it on purpose so you two can have time alone."
I widen my eyes. "No! We didn't even mean to get caught! We were just playing around!"
"Sure, sure." Austin says as he walks away.

So, I'm grounded for a week because of my reckless behavior from me getting in trouble at school.
And, of course, my mom knows that my guy friend had been in on it also and was upset with him because of it.
And me? Well I still thought the sliding down the hall was fun as heck and plus it was with jerk face. But getting grounded? Wasn't too happy about that.
"So, wait, your mom is taking up your phone also?!?" Collins asks as I tell him everything.
I sigh. "Sadly, yes."
"Well, cupcake, I guess this is the last phone call which only means that I will have to come to your house."
"Right now?" I plop down on my bed.
"Well, when your mom and brother is asleep." He says, his voice sounding serious.
"I kind of feel like you are the kind of boyfriend my mom warned me about," I say. "But also encouraged me to date."
I can hear the smile in his voice. "What do you mean?"
"I mean you're a crazy and reckless live-in-the-moment guy that makes me do crazy things, but is also the kind of guy that is safe towards me and protective, yet doesn't do anything too reckless."
"Well," he says. "I am quite honored to officially be your boyfriend."
"You always have been." I said quietly.
There is a few seconds of silence before he says, "I wasn't kidding when I said I was coming to your house, cupcake."
"I didn't think you were, butt hurt jerk." I smile.
"That's good." He chuckles. "Keep your window unlocked."
I grin. "Will do, jerk face."
"Goodbye cupcake." He whispers. "See you later. Oh, I'm wiggling my eyesbrows right now."
I laugh. "Okay, jerk face. See you later." I wiggle my eyebrows. "I'm wiggling my eyebrows right now also."
He laughs. "Bye."
I smile. "Bye."
"Bye." He says again.
I roll my eyes, grinning. "Bye."
"Hmm," he says. "Maybe 'bye' can be our always."
I giggle. "We are not going to be like The Fault in Our Stars."
"Why not?" His voice hold curiosity.
"Because," I explain. "I want our relationship to be our own little forever, not like anyone else's."
I hear him sigh deeply. "I swear, you amaze me everyday. You sure are something."
Before I can say anymore, there is a knock at the door. (That kind of rhymed) It is my mom, more than likely to take my phone away.
"I have to go," I hurriedly say. "Bye."
"Bye, cupcake." He says then I hang up.
I turn my phone off, opening the door. "Here you go, mom." I say putting the phone in her hand.
"Thanks." My mom says and I go back in my room, then I unlock my window. I really doubt he was joking.

"Hey, wake up!" I'm being shook. "Cupcake, I didn't escape my window almost break something just to come here to find my cupcake asleep."
I groan, making him laugh. "But if I do say so myself, you are pretty adorable when you are asleep."
I roll over and open my eyes to see him sitting on my bed, looking down on me.
"Hello cupcake." He whispers. I scoot over so he can get under the covers with me. "My plan was to romantically star gaze at the night sky, but it sure is getting colder and I doubt you want to get out of these warm covers."
I snuggle closer towards him. "Especially now that you are under the covers with me." I say, putting my head on his shoulder.
"It is quite rather tempting to just lay here with you in this warm bed with you snuggling into me." He says quietly in my hair, wrapping his arms around me.
"Then let's do just that." I whisper, lifting my head upwards to kiss his neck lightly.
"If you keep doing that I don't know if we will just be cuddling, cupcake." He squeezes my side.
I lowly laugh, and slowly kiss his neck. His grip on my hip tightens, his breathing turning irregular.
"Cupcake," he says in one single breath.
I sit up a little more, kissing his jaw lightly. "Yes?" I innocently say while looking up at him.
He bites his lip. "You drive me crazy."
"Then let's lose our minds together." I whisper. "And make it our little forever."
His hands slide all the way up from my wait to touch my jaw. "I fully agree to that."
And after that we talked about simple things to complex. From funny to sad. From every little memory and stories we had in our minds.
We talked until birds eventually started to chirp, singing their little tune they sang.
When he decided to go, he kissed me goodbye.
I don't know which made my day more; the long talk we had or the little note on my bedside table that said: Our little forever.
