"Thanks for letting me barrow your suit Katara, we're pretty close on size, the tops a little small but no biggie," jin called through Kataras bathroom as everyone was ready to drive down to the beach, it was 40 minute drive so they had to leave before noon.

"Oh it's small?" Katara looked down at her own chest unamused. Zuko snorted as he sat on the bed reading off his phone.

'That's my biggest swim suit top,' she pouted a little in her head. Luckily being more south they can still go to the beach and be comfortable, unfortunately jin didn't know that they'd be swimming so didn't pack anything. Jin walked out of the bathroom in dark jeans as she was putting on zukos shirt over the green bikini top.

"Thanks again for letting me barrow something, I owe you," jin smiled brightly putting her hair up in a ponytail with her bangs falling out.

"No problem, glad they fit you," Katara blushed a little as she looked away.

"I'm gonna help Sokka and Aang pack," Zuko huffed getting up and pecked a kiss on Kataras forehead as he walked out. They both looked at each other awkwardly.

"So you guys are dating?" Jin asked as she was putting her shoes on.

"Yea, he's really sweet," Katara braided her hair back as she had her own swim suit under her shirt and jeans.

"You hurt him I'll chop your hair." Jin smiled sweetly at her and Katara paused.

"What?" She gulped a little.

"We're going to have a girl to girl moment, it's not against you but I would die for that asshole out there," jin turned to her as they sat on the bed together.

"I know about his family and shitty past too, he's been through to much to just have some girl he trusted break his heart," she pursed her lips as Katara nodded softly.

"No I get it, I was the same with suki when she started to date my brother, we were friends but things change when they date your family," Katara sighed nodding as Jin smiled a little.

"Azula is already on my hit list," jin giggled.

"Fucking yikes I'll help you with that," Katara scoffed standing up.

"But seriously, me and Zuko have had our fights and ups and downs but I love him a lot, we've worked it out and everything," she smiled back at jin who stayed on the bed putting on her other shoe.

"Ha, fights? What fights? Zuko tells me everything," jin chuckled shaking her head. Katara thought for a minute but decided not too.

"Just like some assholes at our school that try fighting him and all, I don't know if Zuko told you about jet?" Katara waved it off with a nervous laugh.

"Some kid he use to be friends with," she nodded.

"He holds grudges," Katara agreed. "Come on we should head down, make sure Sokka doesn't forget to grab the towels,"

"Thank god it's not cloudy today," Katara set her bag down in the sand as they made it to the beach, Aang was dragged by appa to the water as Sokka and Toph chased with him splashing in the water laughing. Suki and Katara looked at each other unamused when Sokka fell in after being tripped by appas leash.

"Your brother," suki smirked.

"Your boyfriend," Katara snorted taking her towel out of the bag and set in the sand as Zuko was helping jin set up her towel as well.

"You sure they don't have a thing for each other?" Suki whispered to Katara noticing how close they were.

"They dated before but I'm pretty sure those feelings are gone," Katara smiled but there was a tight feeling in her chest that made her worry seeing Zuko smile softly at his friend. She was glad Zuko was happy with his own friend, she wasn't apart of his life back then and Jin was, of course they're closer.

"For him yea probably, but for her, who knows," Suki shrugged as she sat on her towel and took off her shirt with her bikini under, it was a gold and sage green tube top and bottoms.

"Like how Yue still had feelings for Sokka when we first started dating," Suki explained.

"Yue has a boyfriend," Katara looked at her.

"Yea that toxic masculinity jock that pushed Sokka around?" She rolled her eyes a little.

"Yea they need to break up," Katara sighed agreeing but saw jin pull off the shirt that was zukos as she wore a revealing bikini top. The two girls watched Zuko carefully but he minded his business and kept his eyes off her completely, still talking to her with their own conversation.

"He's a gentleman, don't go assuming," Katara hit sukis shoulder frowning.

"Suki! Katara! Come on in the water guys!" Aang screamed but let out a higher scream when Toph pulled him into the water backwards.

"Coming!" Suki got to her feel smiling.

"Wait up!" Katara pulled off her shirt as she wore a deep V triangle halter top that was a dark red as well as her bottoms that got Zuko staring a little. Zuko blushed as he watched his girlfriend ran past them.

"Stop staring perv," jin punched his chest a little as she wiggled out of her jeans.

"I still can't figure out if your a tits or ass guy," she laughed a little seeing how red he was.

"I refuse to answer that," Zuko covered his face.

"Come on grump, let's go!" Jin pulled at his hands as he stayed sitting in the sand using his weight to not be pulled.

"I'll stay and make sure no one steals our stuff," Zuko told her flatly.

"Pleeeeaaaase!" She whined like a child.

Zuko groaned as childishly but finally agreed, he already had black swim trunks on, he pulled his shirt off with his tattoos showing, another one added on his waist line from boredom.

"Whoooo yea take it off!" Jin whooped as everyone else was applauding and whistling at him.

Zuko sat back in the sand and pulled a towel around his shoulders.

"Noooo come on Lee!" She groaned walking backwards in the water grinning. "Get your fine ass out here mister emo!"

"No!" He called back and they all laughed. Katara giggled running out of the water and back over to him.

"The waters nice, come on," Katara offered her hand to him. Zuko blushed as he tried keeping his eyes up.

"Grow up," she said flatly seeing how red his face was getting. He smiled innocently and took her hand.

"On what? I'm completely mature," Zuko teased.

"You can't even handle looking at my b-" Katara was cut off in a scream as Zuko threw her over his shoulder and walked to the water smiling.

"Sorry can't hear you back there," Zuko patted her thigh like he won a great trophy. She laughed wildly as she was carried like a sack of potatoes but screamed again when he tossed her in the water.

"It's cold!" Zuko whined as Katara came up in the water with her hair in her face.

"Yea, I know," she smirked deviously.

"You said it was nice," he groaned.

"I lied!" Katara laughed when Sokka grabbed Zuko by the shoulders with Aang and dunked him.
