1 week later*

Takeover New Orleans has come and gone and everyone was calming down on what went down.

From Toni continuing her legacy by beating one of her best friends, Rhea Ripley to over best the Mae Young Classic.

To Tyler surprising everyone and turning on his demented brother Aleister, to turn his back on NXT and join Undisputed Era.

No one saw it coming and Tyler loved this turn.

He has become the most hated at Full Sail with the crowd; which was perfect for the now heel persona.

But there was more business to take care of in the mean time.

Back in Orlando*

Tonight was a taping of the NXT after Takeover and they had something in store for what was happening with the newest member of Undisputed Era.

But he had a few things before he could think about that tonight as Toni called him last night and asked if they could talk.

He had no idea what it was about but figured it was like any other conversation and was just best friends talking.

Missed alarm, phone vibrates*

His phone was on the bedside table, buzzing and it woke him up.

Tyler: It's too early.

Grabbing his phone and saw it was Toni calling him, and he awnsered it.

Tyler: Hmm.. Hello?

Toni: Well goodmorning to you too.

Tyler: It's too early.

Toni: Ty, it's eleven o'clock.

He pulled away from his phone for a second and the clock popped up as he watched the clock hit 11:10am*

Tyler: Oh, I guess I slept through my alarm.

Toni: I see, well we don't have to be at Full Sail until six tonight.

Tyler: Good, I wouldn't want to go now.

Toni: Yeah.. anyways, I'm calling to see if you wanna hang today? Maybe go for a workout and get lunch?

Tyler: Uhm, sure. I gotta shower.

Toni: Well.. I'm already here.

He heard a noise outside of his bedroom and could hear it go through the phone conversation.

Outside: knock knock knock*

Toni: knock knock knock.. sorry I didn't give you time, I'm really bored.

Tyler could tell in her Australian accent that she really ment it.

So he didn't say anything as it was silent on the phone for a while until she spoke up.

Toni: Ty?

Tyler: opens the door* Yeah?

She smiled and he invited her in as they walked into the kitchen.

Tyler turned on his coffee maker and yawned as Toni was suprised that he was tired.

Toni: How are you tired?

Tyler: Long story.

Toni: Ty, common.. what else are we going to do?

Tyler: Good point.

The coffee was finally brewed and Tyler passed her a cup as they sat at the counter together, sipping away.

Tyler: Well, Scarlett and I got into it last night.

Toni: She's finally talking to you?

Tyler: I guess, she called to congratulate me for my heel turn.

Toni: Really?

He continued and it went downhill from there.

Tyler: Then she asked about my life without her.

Toni: ...

Tyler: I said that it's terrible that I'm in a terrible relationship with a women who was my best friend, to now someone that won't talk to me.

Toni: That's pretty much it.

Tyler: Yeah, but she didn't think it was. She blew a gasket and went off on how were the best couple out in the world and that I'm not putting much into the relationship. That's when I disagreed and she continued the rampage.

The blond aussie couldn't talk as she was just listening him rant off what's been going on.

Tyler: She then brought you up.

Toni: Me? Why?

Tyler: Scarlett believes that I'm cheating on her with you.

Toni: Are you serious?

Tyler: Yeah, so she's coming soon; I'm not sure when to talk it out with me.

She couldn't stop staring at him and lost connection to the conversation, atleast until he was done talking.

Then she snapped out of it and agreed with whatever he said.

Both continued to talk for a bit until the clock hit noon, so Tyler got up and walked back into his bedroom to take a shower.

Toni was looking around his apartment, getting pretty bored until she found something on the entertainment center that's below his mounted tv.

She got a little snoopy and saw they were letters.

Looking through them, they were personal notes that Tyler had wrote during the difficult times.

Scarlett,

You're the love of my life and I miss being by your side.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Forever.

Ty

She was really going in depth with alot of them as he could see the downhill of the relationship after the first love letter.

One got her as he had a huge X through it as he must have trashed it.

Dark days are necessary

Just as important as the rest

For if we didn't have the worst

We couldn't recognize the best.

That one got to her as she read it and could tell that Tyler was in a dark place.

She kept looking through and alot of huge X's through them.

And that's when Tyler spoke up.

Tyler: I see you found the poems.

Toni jumped as he scared her a bit, but he walked over and sat on the chair next to her.

Tyler: I haven't sent any of them.

Toni: Tyler, alot of these poems are scary. Are you ok?

Tyler: I'm fine, it actually helps writing them. It's a relief to spill out what's inside my head and show it in black and white.

Toni: ...

Tyler: Most of them I've scrapped, and I haven't wrote in sometime now.

She was worried for him now, which made her want him more; Toni knew that she could look after him better than anyone could.

Tyler: Anyways, let's go eat.

He got up and walked over to the counter where his keys were and Toni slowly got up as she was studying his moves.

Studying his condition after he expressed the feelings that he's feeling at this moment.

Tyler and Toni walked out his apartment and down to the garage where they got into his Jeep.

They buckled up and were on their way.

20 minutes later*

Both were enjoying some food, Tyler had a chicken sandwich while Toni had a salad.

They were getting along great as they were telling stories and talking more about what's happening in NXT.

Tyler told her a little about what him and the new crew are doing and she teased him a little on what's happening in the future for her.

Toni: Ty, can I ask you something?

Tyler: I don't see why not?

Toni: I don't know if it's too personal.

Tyler: Nonsense.

He stopped talking and waited for her to finish chewing.

Toni: Ok, so Ty; how are you feeling lately?

Tyler: I'm feeling pretty good.

Toni: Are you sure?

Tyler: Yeah, and after the change in my character its been never better.

Toni: Oh.. okay.

Tyler: Why do you ask?

Toni: Oh, it's just after reading those letters you had; it worries me a little bit. You're my best friend and I don't like seeing you down.

He smiled at her as she cared, which he hasn't felt that way in a long time.

Tyler: I appreciate that T, I really do. But trust me, I'm fine.

That calmed her down a little bit but she still had it in the back of her mind.

After they were finished eating, both Tyler and Toni got into his jeep and headed back to his apartment.

She decided that they didnt need to go workout since both found out that they won't be wrestling.

Except for Ty, he's usually at the university gym an hour before recording.

Back at Tyler's*

Him and Toni were hanging out as they were waiting for the clock to hit four.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was on his tv and they were quoting everything, which made them laugh.

That was another thing that they have in common, which made Toni realise what she needed to do.

What her best friend Bea kept telling her was to wait, but she's not going to listen to her.

Toni: Ty, can we talk?

Tyler: We've been talking all day.

Toni: Yeah, but this is what I wanted to talk to you about.

He had no idea what she wanted to discuss with him, but it must be serious since she got up from the chair and sat next to him on the couch.

Toni: Ty, how long have we been friends?

Tyler: We met in Progress what? Almost seven years ago?

Toni: Right, but when did we become friends?

Tyler: Oh, five years ago when Bea and Will introduced us.

Toni: Right, over in England when we were on tour.

Tyler: Good times.

She was loosing him and wanted to stay focused.

Toni: So my point to all of this is that.. you're my best friend and I've had something holding me back for sometime.

Tyler: ...

Toni: And these past few months have been the best time I've ever had. And that's because of you.

Tyler still doesn't know where she's going but he's giving her the time to spill since they're best friends.

Toni: Tyler, since we both joined each other in Orlando I've been having this feeling.

Tyler: Feeling?

Toni: Yeah, I've been developing feelings Ty.

Now he knew where she was going and let it happend.

Toni: Tyler, I want to be with you.

Tyler: T..

She leaned in and kissed his lips but he pulled away immediately.

That made her feel offended and shocked at the same time.

Tyler: Woah..

Toni: Ty..

Tyler: Toni, I'm sorry but I'm in a relationship.

Toni: But Tyler, I'm falling for you.

Tyler: T, I can't.

After he said that, it made her pretty upset.

Toni: Tyler, you're telling me that you're going to stay in a horrible relationship than be with someone who actually cares about you?

Tyler: ...

He put his head down and that was an awnser to her.

She got up and walked out of his apartment without and word.

Toni unlocked her door and walked into her apartment, closed the door and slid down it in tears.

Bea warned her but she didn't know that she would be heartbroken.

All she could do was cry.

4 hours later*

Tyler was walking out if his apartment with his ring gear bag still with what just went down a couple hours ago.

He felt bad about what went down between them.

Knowing how she felt, Tyler hopes that didn't ruin their friendship. Because he loves her but not that way.

As he got into his jeep, he was hoping that tonight could clear both of their heads and then they could talk later.

At Full Sail*

Tyler was backstage with almost all of the talent as he was sitting with his new crew.

That's when he saw Rhea walk in and wave him over.

Tyler: Oh boy.

He knew this could go bad since she's best friends with Toni.

She was waiting at the beginning of the hallway until he got next to her, so they then walked a bit and talked.

Rhea: So I talked to Toni.

Tyler: Yeah? I hope she's not too upset.

Rhea: She is.

Tyler: I was afraid of that.. now our friendship is over.

Rhea: I'm not sure about that.

Tyler: ...

Rhea: She's of course heartbroken but she wants her space now.

Tyler: So.. now she doesn't want to see me?

Rhea: I'm sorry Ty.

That crushed his mood.

And now his friendship with Toni was over, and it's all his fault.

He left Rhea in the hallway and walked back to his spot on the table and saw a notification pop up on Instagram.

That hurt him as he knew that this was all of his fault.

But he couldn't do anything but let her be and have her space.

NXT*

It was the main event and Tyler was standing backstage with the guys as Aleister Black, The War Raiders were in the ring.

Tonight was a five on three man tag match.

And it was also Tyler's debut with the new charater.

Shock the System*

Adam walked out with the NXT Championship, Boby and Kyle walked out with the NXT Tag Titles and Roderick followed.

They stood at the ramp and all smiled with pointing at the entrance as Tyler walked out.

He smiled straight at Aleister and everyone walked down the ramp.

Fast forward through the match*

Everyone has been in the ring besides two men.

Roderick tagged Tyler and Hanson tagged in Aleister.

Both men were standing in the corners, staring down each other as the crowd was hyping everyone up.

Tyler was trash talking his old partner and that's when he walked up to the middle and was hit with a strong "Black Mass".

Aliester covered and got the three count.

He had gotten payback from his old allie and thats when the rest of the crew jumped in and took down the Dutch Destroyer.

The War Raiders got back up and everyone bailed out of the ring, the three men then had a farewell to NXT and the show was over.

An hour later*

Tyler was at home just watching a movie as he looked at his phone and saw a notification pop up.

It was another Instagram post, and it was from his girlfriend; looking out a plane window and smiling.

That shocked him as she is coming soon, and he wanted to warn Toni but now wasn't the best time.

He was pacing back and forth as he was thinking on what could happen.

Tyler then stopped and looked at a tableside picture of Tyler, Will, Bea and Toni laughing with drinks in their hands.

He couldn't stop thinking about what happend today.

Tyler: I'm sorry Toni
