A bang comes from the kitchen downstairs, where the famous Sirius Black stands fuming as he hears the news that Peter Pettigrew, the man he grew up with, has told Voldemort the place James and Lily Potter hid. Sirius only cares for a few people that he has grown to trust involving the Potters (yes Harry too) Remus Lupin, Chloe Walsh (His wife) and his one and only daughter, Ember Matilda Black. Sirius loved his daughter with much passion, he would kill for her same as he would kill for James and Lily Potter.

As Sirius was thinking Ember Black was watching from her crib worried for her father, Ember was a smart baby. She could get out of her crib without any help, can easily feed herself, and third of all can say a whole sentience without saying "ga" or "goo". "Dada?" Ember asked quietly, when Sirius hears his daughters voice his thinking face turns into a mildly happy one "Ohh hi Ember Wember" Sirius says in a very obnoxious baby voice, as obnoxious as it is to anyone else Ember loved it, she loved the way her dad will do anything for her, how he tickles her, and even the way he smiles. "What ya doing?" Ember asks louder this time "oh, nothing sweetie just thinking" as Sirius says this he walks back and grabs his coat "where are you going?" Ember asked worry laced through her tone "I'll be back hun" he says, but in the middle of opening the door he walks back to Ember picks her up and puts her in his wardrobe and kisses Embers forehead "your mom will be back from work soon" Sirius says softly. The thing is Ember's mom never came home and neither did her father. This broke Embers heart, she didn't want to have to go through this ever again, so she swears herself she will never show emotion,never make friends, and most importantly stay Tone Cold.
