Friday 20th of March 2015

I opened the door of the car and waved to my mum. While walking I admired the large, pale blue building. The large letters spelling out Journey Inc. on top of the high rise. I opened the doors and was greeted by the receptionist. She led me to the owner of the company.

I opened the doors to see a tall blonde woman typing furiously on her laptop, she looked up and her expression brightened.

"Uh you must be Naomi, welcome to Journey Inc." she said enthusiastically. I always imagined managers of companies to be intimidating and tough, I guess it's not always true."I'm Miss Redfern."

I went up to her and shook her hand. She had a firm but not tight grip.

"So I guess you're wondering what you're going to do here." I nodded." Well, we have just cracked time travel and would like you to test it!"

I raised my eyebrows, "Time travel? As in traveling into the future?" She nodded." I thought that only happened in doctor who?"

"Well it's a lot different than going into a telephone box, come on I'll show you." She motioned me to follow her.

We entered a large room with a box that could fit a human with a bunch of tech stuff around it and many computer screens on the other side of the room.

"I thought you said it wasn't like Dr. Who?" I said, an eyebrow raised.

"Well it's not a telephone box, it's just a clear box." She said walking to the wall of computers.

"Ok, you will be traveling to the year 2115. You will be there for 3 hours to scope out the place then we will bring you back."

I opened the glass door and stepped inside.

"All set." She said to her team." You need to go back to your original place of teleportation in exactly 3 hours or you will be stuck there." She turned toward me.

She pressed a button and the machine started up. Everything went black around me. You know that feeling when you drop on an elevator, imagine that, but the force is coming from all angles and is multiplied. It was like you were falling from the sky but you didn't know which way the sky was.
