OVA: Protect the Waterfall Village
Was watching this OVA and decided to write it- since we've all been missing the Shady Uchiha. This is also kinda to make up for the lack of updates recently XD
Sachi and Sasuke are together in this chapter. It takes place after chapter 25 of Book One, so yeah.
LOL if it was up to my spell check, Sasuke's name would be Sauce Ukiah. Pfft.
(Sachi would be called Sachem apparently) XD
Welp, enjoy!

I sighed heavily, miming playing the flute with my fingers in my boredom and messing with my single crutch. Sasuke, who was walking close beside me, rose his eyebrows but smirked slightly- it seemed he was finding my bizarre (and kind of stupid) actions more and more humourous as time went by. I think he was starting to get too used to being around me. I was warping his sense of humour- either that, or actually giving him one. He cracked sarcastic jokes a lot more now than he used to. Stupid emo kid killing us all. (A/N: a phrase you should all recognise XD)
"Sachi, what are you doing?" he asked, and I noticed Sakura watching us with a dark expression out of the corner of my eyes. I ignored her, like any ordinary person.
"Pretending to play the flute, what's it look like?" I said obnoxiously, mock-rolling my eyes at him. Even so, I couldn't help but grin. I often seemed to find it hard to keep a straight face around him.
"Looks like you're crazy..." Sakura muttered, and I whipped my head round to stare hard at her.
"You." I pointed at her, expressionless. "Shut the hell up."
She glared at me, but I turned my head away so I wouldn't have to look at her face anymore. She was, as Sasuke frequently put it, annoying.
I looked up at the tree canopy, watching the leaves float around, and then glanced at our escortee, Shibuki, Leader of Takigakure, the Waterfall village. He had long, hazel hair and dark eyes that glanced around nervously. A group of birds all flew out of the trees at once in a flurry of noise, and he jumped, grabbing the person closest to him and using them as a shield. Which just so happened to be me.
I twitched slightly as Brave-and-Mighty Lord Shibuki used me, an injured twelve year old girl, as a human shield and glanced around, checking for any potential danger. The only one he found was a very dark-looking Uchiha, who grabbed the Taki ninja by the wrist, pulled his hand off of my sleeve and placed it by his side. Without saying anything, Sasuke then placed his hand on my back and urged me slightly forward, eyeing Shibuki all the while. Shibuki sweated and quickly moved to the other side of the group.
Sasuke glanced at me once he deemed the distance between me and the Taki leader to be a suitable one, and I flashed him a grin, as though to say 'Haha, you're jealous. Admit it, you want this all to yourself.' (okay, he might not have got all of those connotations, but that was what I was thinking) and he flushed slightly and looked away. Dayum, he blushes easily now.
As we finally drew up to the border for the Waterfall village, everyone stared in awe at the large- yep, you guessed it- waterfall that marked the entrance of the village. Not that I knew where it was. I'd never been inside, just to the outside with my Father to deliver furniture.
I didn't have time to be sad about that, though, because there were two shouts that quickly distracted me from my memories.
"Shibuki-sama!" two little kids came running over. "Shibuki-sama, you're home!"
"Now, now, show some respect for your Village leader." Oh, so now he acts like some kind of brave, respectable guy. "Sorry, I can't play with you right now. I still have some matters to attend to."
I just twitched- I was too peeved about Shibuki's pompous manner (he had used me, and technically handicapped twelve year old as a shield! Seriously, what kind of morals did he have?!) to say anything biting. I frowned slightly- I didn't usually think about such mean things. What was wrong with me today?
"No, we're here because our Mama told us to come clean up the river." The small boy said, and the girl, waved a rubbish bag in the air.
"Yeah, we have to pick up all of the litter!" she said. Shibuki looked thoughtful a moment, then grinned.
"Well, hey, look! I got you some help. These ninjas can assist you!" he said, causing Naruto to jump into action.
"What?!" he growled at Shibuki's disrespectful manner. "Do we look like litterpickers to you?!"
I sighed slightly and sat down on a nearby rock. This was going to drag.
"We'll pay you for your time." The Taki leader said.
"Please Mister! The current is really strong and it's hard for us!" the little girl exclaimed, and Naruto grimaced, avoiding looking at their pleading eyes.
"Kakashi-senseiiii..." he whined, and Sensei finally looked up.
"I don't see why not. Think of it as an extension of the mission." he said boredly, and Naruto groaned.

I laid back on the rock, kicking my working leg into the air. I then rose my hand to the sky, waving my fingers, before letting it fall to my side and sighing.
"I'm bored!" I yelled, sitting up, causing Naruto to jump and drop all of the litter he'd picked up back into the river. He swore.
"Damnit Sachi-chan! Look what you made me do, 'ttebayo!" he exclaimed, rushing to catch it all before the current carried it away.
"It's not my fault that you're a butterfingers." I said, turning my nose up- picking on him, just a bit. I was so bored that I'd be happy to pick a fight, just for something to do.
"He scowled at me, then seemed to realise something and glared, "Hey! How come you're not helping, anyway?!"
I rose my eyebrows at him, silently calling him an idiot with my gaze as I tapped my forever-numb leg. "Bum leg, remember? I couldn't help even if I wanted to." he went quiet, and I yelled, "And I really want to! I'm so fucking bored!!!"
I then quickly stopped, as the two children gasped at the swear. I quickly looked around, relieved to see that Kakashi was nowhere in sight. I had evaded the soap for now.
I turned back around to say something only to receive a mouthful of soap. I spat it out quickly, doubled over and spitting and gagging at the awful taste as Sakura laughed.
"Since Kakashi-sensei went back to the Leaf village, I thought I should fill in for him on this." she chuckled, tossing and catching a bar of soap repeatedly. I glared, grabbed it, and then tackled her, ramming the soap block in her mouth and holding it there.
"How do you like it? Huh?!" I shouted, and she struggled under my grip, fighting to get the horrible substance out of her mouth.
The small sort-of-wrestling-match turned into an all out brawl, and ended up with Sasuke and Naruto having to pull us apart while the two kids watched and Shibuki stood from a large distance away- probably trying to avoid getting caught up in it. Sakura walked away with a busted lip and extreme bird's nest hair (from where I grabbed it to bash her head repeatedly on the ground- I never said I fought cleanly) whereas I only gained a couple of grazes on my knees and elbows. I'd say that that was my win.
I heard a gasp intercept the conversation that I had only been half paying attention to, and bolted up at a tearful exclamation.
"Mama!!" Shizuku, the little girl, cried, as a woman stumbled over, a kunai embedded in her back. All of our eyes went wide.
"Shibuki... sama..." the woman groaned, breathless from pain. "They attacked... without warning..."
I frowned slightly- they were hardly going to announce when they were going to attack. What kind of person says "Hey, I'm going to attack you now bro. That cool?", be they ninja or not.
Then I realised how bitchy that thought sounded, especially considering the circumstances, and felt guilty.
So, we ended up being dragged into another battle that was completely out of our jurisdiction. But I suppose it did make things a little more exciting.
The entrance to Takigakure ended up being a sort of underwater tunnel that was in a cave behind the waterfall. Sasuke had to hold my hand to help me swim through since I only had one leg to work with (Naruto was going to assist me, but my 'significant other' vehemently objected to this, so Naruto ended up carrying my crutch) and my clothes were all now lovely and wet. And Takigakure was deserted, well... except for the group of ninjas that decided to start attacking us the moment we got out of the water.
"Wow, thanks. This is just what I want." I muttered after being pushed back into the lake by Sasuke to avoid some kunai. "I could've dodged those on my own, you know!"
He just ignored me, speaking to Naruto. "Naruto! Take Sachi and go find Shibuki! I'll hold these ones off!"
"Right!" Naruto nodded, grabbing my hand and pulling me through the water.
We seemed to swim around randomly at first, but then a brainwave struck Naruto (probably for the first time in a while, based on how much it surprised him, and he suggested we duck underwater. We immediately found a strange cave that led up the inside of the giant tree that was the epicentre of the village of Takigakure.
"Oi." Naruto said, swinging to land in front of Shibuki, who was sat as a cowering mess in the corner of a level of the cave, clutching a bottle of water. "Shibuki, we found you!"
"What are you doing here?" rude. "Go away, I don't need your help."
"Naruto, can I bitch slap him?" I grumbled to my comrade, "I really want to bitch slap him."
Naruto snickered slightly at me, then moved slightly closer to the Taki lord, "Your villagers out there need you, so why are you in here?"
"That's none of your business!" the elder boy replied, still shaking. I scowled, but Naruto seemed surprised.
"Is that it? That 'Hero's Water' that they're all on about down there?" Naruto asked, and I blinked. 'Hero's water'? Sounds lame. They could have at least made it 'Hero's lemonade' or something, couldn't they? Water's gross.
Shibuki went off in a rant, one that would send you to sleep if I regaled it, so I won't bother. I picked out something about this special water that gave you superpowers or some shit, and then killed you if you drank too much? Anyways, apparently Shibuki's dad drank the water to save the village a few years ago and died.
"What do you know?" Shibuki demanded after Naruto made a comment about Shibuki's dad seeming like his kind of guy, "My Father is dead. He is called a hero because he drank the water and died. Is that what a hero is?!"
"At least your Dad died an honourable death." I muttered darkly, glaring at him through narrowed eyes. "My Dad committed suicide, leaving his infant daughter to take care of herself. It was selfish and shameful and he knew it, but did it anyway. You really have no reason to hate your Father if I don't hate mine."
Both Naruto and Shibuki stared at me, Naruto's eyes full of shocked sorrow, "Sachi-chan..."
"I don't need your sympathy." I snapped at him, "Let's just go take down this son of a bitch before he kills our friends."
"Okay, yeah, let's go." Naruto said, sounding pumped up, and sending Shibuki one last glance before we made our exit.

I was going to make it all one chapter, but I think I'll split it into two parts because it'll get too long otherwise. That, and it's late and I want to post something tonight.
Well, vote and comment! Part two will come soon :D
