Chapter Eight - Do You Know What I'm Seeing?
Just a quick note- the chapter titles are all that relate to the story unless I say otherwise. It's not the actual lyrics of the song that really relate to the chapter. Because, if you're a Panic! At the Disco nerd like I am, then relating the lyrics of each song to the content of each chapter will make no sense whatsoever. If you're not a Panic fan, then, firstly, you suck (lol jks), and secondly, just ignore all this shiz and have fun reading the chapter. And also, everyone, comment&&vote! And maybe fan? :D
Also, piccu on the side is Sachiko. I drew it myself BD you peoples like? :3
Well, happy readings!

"There was a man up there! I swear! At least, I think it was a man..." I frowned to myself a second, then glared back up at my teammates, "But there really was! And he... she... they scared me, and made me fall!"
Sasuke rose an eyebrow. "Che, and we're supposed to believe that?"
"There WAS someone there!!" I exclaimed frustratedly, and Sakura just scoffed.
"How come none of us saw this person then?" she asked smugly, and I growled.
"Because you all suck ass!!!" I yelled, and then said, a bit calmer, "I already told you, they disappeared after mocking my situation when I fell!"
"Of course." the pinkette replied sarcastically, and I growled again in frustration.
"I'm telling the truth!! Naruto-kun, you believe me, don't you?!" I asked him, my eyes wide and pleading. He rubbed the back of his head guiltily,
"Well, it doesn't really seem believable, Sachi-chan...."
"AAAGH!! Well screw you guys!!" I exclaimed, flailing my arms, then turning to Kakashi, "Sensei, you believe me though, right?" he didn't answer, just stared at me blankly. I waved my hand in front of his face, "Hel-looo? Sensei?"
He jumped, and blinked a few times, before focusing on me, "Huh? What?"
I frowned, "Forget it." I huffed, folding my arms, and glaring at my plate of food while the others ate. I noticed that Kakashi hadn't touched his food either, and frowned in concern. "Sensei, you okay? You haven't eaten."
Kakashi looked at me, then his eye closed in one of his unique smiles. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine." then, he frowned again, while I started wolfing down my food, suddenly ravenous. "But, Sachi...?"
"Yeah?"
"What did this man look like?" that caught everyone's attention, and we all looked up at him, me in mild shock, and the others in disbelief. I then grinned.
"You mean you believe me? Yay!" I stuck my tongue out at the others. "See? Sensei's smart, he knows the truth when he hears it."
Sakura glared at me, then looked to Kakashi "You don't really believe that she's telling the truth, Sensei?"
Kakashi interrupted my happy dance, "Sachi, I want you to describe him to me."
I blinked at him, "I don't see why it matters, but..." I folded my arms thoughtfully, trying to picture the tranny in my head. "He or she had long black hair and really pale skin, and wore purple make up around his or her eyes..."
Kakashi went into seemingly deep thought, looking kind of worried. Sakura distracted me from that, though, "Well, the person's obviously a woman if they wear make-up."
I glared at her, "He or she had a really manly face, though, and no breasts at all! And anyway, guys can wear make-up!" I nodded to myself,, and pointed at Sasuke, "You'd still think that the Shady Uchiha was hot if he started to wear guyliner, and that's make-up, so shut up you narrow-minded fool."
"Why you..!" Sakura was held back from killing me by Tazuna (surprisingly) who showed up out of nowhere and sat down. After some small talk, the two male genin of my squad started scarfing down their food like tomorrow was the apocalypse, and I scowled across the table at them.
"You idiots are gonna eat all the food!! Save some for me!" I exclaimed. Naruto and Sasuke glared at each other, still eating.
"I have to eat more to get stronger!" Sasuke said.
"And I have to eat more than him!" Naruto exclaimed, and I shook my head.
"Boys and their alpha male syndromes..." I sighed, just as they both held their bowls up in the air and yelled,
"More please!" before glaring at each other. Tsunami served them, seeming scared, and they continued eating.
"You two are gonna throw up if you eat so much-" Sakura was cut off by the sound of Genin vomiting.
"Ewwww...." I muttered, turning green. "I think I'm gonna throw up too..."
I quickly covered my mouth and nose, and ran out of the room.
"Okay, Sachi-san, it's gone now." I sighed in relief and went and sat back down in my place, but not before giving the two boys an irritated hit over the head. I really hate throwing up.
I looked around the group, and noticed the gloomy atmosphere. "Dang it! Why do I always miss the important conversations?!" I then noticed the little kid that Tazuna was cuddling, and narrowed my eyes at him. "Man, I knew you were and alcoholic, but I never thought you'd be a cradle snatcher, too."
He glared at me. "This is my grandson, Inari. Don't be stupid."
Sasuke smirked, "Telling Sachi not to be stupid is like telling the dobe to not eat ramen."
Naruto and I both looked up, "Hey!"
"So why's it so depressing in here?" I whispered to Kakashi.
"Sakura asked Tazuna a question that triggered a bad memory for Tazuna-san. He told us the story." he answered, and I snickered.
"Yo Sakura!" she looked up at me. "How does your foot taste?" (Ever heard the saying 'Foot-in-mouth'?)
She glared hard at me, and I just snickered. I then stood up. "Well, if no one else is gonna say anything interesting, I'm going to bed."
Everyone remained silent, so I just skipped out of the room and to my own, stripping, then going in search of my pyjama's in my underwear, then freezing as the door opened.
Now, in hindsight, I really should have found my pyjama's and then got undressed, but I forgot about sharing a room with Sasuke. And years ago, back when I shared a room with Ino, she used to parade around in her underwear, and so, I of course learned to do that too. Except, I didn't wear a bra back then, and Ino isn't a boy.
Sasuke's eyes went wide at the sight of me in my purple bra and matching panties (dang I really hate calling them that), and he slammed his hand over his mouth and nose, but made no effort to look away, or hide his red face. I just stared at him for a moment, then straightened up and tried to act natural, as if I wasn't standing in front of a boy while wearing only my undergarments.
"Oh, hey Sasuke! What brings you here?" I asked, and his eyes started to travel down from my face, before he slammed his hand over them, and stepped out of the room, slamming the door shut.
"PUT SOME DAMN CLOTHES ON, SACHI!!" he yelled from outside the door, and I heard a growl from the other room, no doubt Sakura. Darn... did you really have to shout that, Sasuke?
I rummaged around in the room, and finally found my pyjama's, hanging over the showerhead in the bathroom. Er....
How the heck did they get there?
Shrugging, I pulled them on, brushed my teeth, and went back through to the main room and flopped onto my futon. Sasuke must have heard me do so, because he soon said, in a tired voice, "Are you decent yet?"
I giggled quietly to myself, "No, I'm waiting for you to help me out, Sasuke-kun."
The door slammed open so hard that the frame shook, and the mighty Uchiha death glare was aimed at me, though the ferocity of it marred by the slight red blush sprinkled on the boy's cheeks.
"Haha, very funny Sachi." he said, in an annoyed tone, and I just grinned at him. laying on my front and hugging my pillow. He went over to his futon and grabbed something fabric-y looking, which I assumed were his pyjama's.
"You gonna give me a show?" I asked, and he glared at me again, before going into the bathroom and slamming the door, muttering to himself. Most-likely plotting killing me in my sleep. Oh well, I've had a good run.
When he came out, I hid my face in my pillow, to stop him seeing my blush. Jeez... I can see why Sakura and Ino like him now. I heard him fidget awkwardly for a moment, then go and lay in his own futon, which seemed a lot closer to mine than it had been the night before. Which was stupid, because although the room was rather small, we had our futons against opposing walls, both yesterday night and tonight, even though we were still only about the length of one of my legs apart.
Huffing to dispel the tension, I rolled over to my side, back facing him. "Night, Shady Uchiha. Don't molest me in my sleep please." I heard him growl dangerously, and just snickered quietly. Before closing my eyes and going to sleep.

"WILL YOU QUIT IT?!!!" I finally screeched, rocketing to my feet and sending a flying kick to the person's face. Kakashi just caught me by my foot, holding me in the air, before I had the chance to attack Naruto.
I blinked around me, and my entire team stared back.
"What the f-" I was cut off by something being shoved in my mouth, and Kakashi shook me a little, still mid-air.
"Children should not use that language." he scolded, and I spat the soap from my mouth. That was disgusting!
"That tasted disgusting you bast- pffffff!!!" that was the noise I made when I spat more soap out of my mouth.
"I know that you are still tired, but kids your age should not use language like that, especially girls." Kakashi said, shaking me somemore, but I was indignant.
"Especially girls?! You sexist b-" I cut off as Kakashi brandished more soap, "bum. That's what I was going to say. Not bastar-" More soap. I spat it out and wiped my mouth furiously. "Oh come on!!!"
He then let go of my ankle, and I fell on my head on my futon. "Get dressed. You and Sakura have guard duty."
He then left the room, shutting the door behind him. I scowled at the door, "Asshole..."
"I heard that! More soap for you when you come out!"
"Aw, man!" I shook my head to clear the last of the sleep haze from my mind, and sprang to my feet, going and getting ready for the day. Then, I crept out of my room with ninja stealth, keeping an eye out for Kakashi and his bar of soap. Where did he even get that thing? Did he carry it around in his kunai pouch or something?!
The kitchen was clear, so I went and grabbed a piece of fruit from the fruit-bowl on the counter, and scarfed it down. I then headed out front, where Sakura and Tazuna were waiting.
"Great... I've gotta spend the day with you..." I muttered, folding my arms. Sakura glared at me.
"Well, don't think I'm enjoying being stuck with you, the smell's awful." she retorted, and I shrugged.
"Just don't get in the way, don't want your forehead to mess up construction." I shot bacl, and she glared at me even harder.
"Why you!!"
"Why me." She seemed to say that a lot. "Do you say that because you can't think of a comeback, forehead?"
Sakura huffed, "You really are Ino-pig's sister..."
"I warn you now, Sakura..." My fists clenched, and I glared at her with steely eyes. "Don't bring my family into this. It's a fight you can't win."
It was silent after that. But her bringing up Ino made my step-sister stick in my mind. I wonder how Ino's doing? She was on a squad with that Nara boy and the Akimichi- I wonder if they get along? Does Ino like either of them, in more than a friend way? And Mr and Mrs Yamanaka, I wonder how they're managing. It's been a while since I've seen them all.
Well, only a few weeks, but that's a long time to be away from the people that are like family to you.
I immediately sat on the floor by the railings of the bridge when we arrived. While I would be best able to scope the area from a high position, due to my fear I didn't particularly want to go up high again. And in any case, I could see just fine from where I was.
The day passed agonisingly slowly, and I was extremely bored, due to the fact that none of the males from my squad were there, and they were the interesting ones. I had settled for annoying Sakura for awhile, but even that wore thin after a while.
If Naruto had been here, we could have passed the time just talking about random things, or playing pranks on Tazuna-jiji, or practising foot patty-cake again. I Sasuke had been here, I could have passed the time embarassing him with sexual innuendos, or just irritating him. If Kakashi had been here.... I would have spent the time running from him and his bar of soap... but at least that would be something to do! But no, I was stuck with boring old Sakura, who didn't have an interesting bone in her body. All she does is sit there, sleeping. Not moving at all, she could even be dead, how still she was...
Oh, she's moving!
She opened her eyes and glared at me. "What?!"
I sighed. "Such a disappointment..." I mumbled, shaking my head.
"What did you say?!" a vein bulged on her temple, and she shook her fist at me. I ignored her, because Tazuna was coming toward us.
"We're losing light, but have to shift some planks under cover in case it rains. Could you give us a hand? The man-power we have isn't enough." I leapt up.
"Where do I start?!" I asked eagerly, and he just blinked and pointed in the direction of some menhuffing and puffing with long planks of wood. I rushed over, "Yes! Finally, something to do!!"
I picked one up by myself, "Where d'ya want it?!"
One of the men blinked at me, "O-over there..."
I flashed a grin, and briefly heard Sakura explaining to Tazuna, "This is what happens when Sachi sits around for a long while... she has to us the energy somehow I guess..."
I just zipped back and forth with the planks, putting away three or four in the time it took three men to take one. We were done soon, with time to spare.
"Wow! Kid, you were a great help!" one of the men exclaimed, "We got done so quickly today! Thanks!"
"Yeah! You're insanely strong! Seriously!" another said. I rubbed the back of my head.
"Well, like Pinky said earlier, I gotta burn the energy off somehow." I then cartwheeled over to Tazuna, "So are we all going back now?"
I cartwheeled in circles around the two of them, and Tazuna nodded. I ran in circles around him and Sakura as they walked, not able to run off ahead since we were supposed to guard Tazuna, but not able to slow down, either. Now that the cap had been popped on my energy, there'd be no stopping until it was drained.
'You'vebeenawfullyquietlatelyIzanami, somethingwrong?' I asked in my head.
'Tch. You really are an idiot.' she said back, and I shrugged.
'Fine. Bethatway.'
Once we were back, I ran in circles around the table, while Sakura and Tazuna sat at it, awaiting our comrades return. When Kakashi walked in the door, I leapt at him, screaming "KAKASHI-SENSEI!!! IWASSOBOREDTODAY!!!!" then proceeding to crawl down his side and onto the floor, then start running again.
"do you want some dinner, Kakashi-san?" Tsunami asked, having already laid out everyone's meals. Kakashi nodded and sat down, but I continued to run. I wasn't hungry anyway.
Time wore on, and Sasuke and Naruto still hadn't returned, while I was tiring. I finally managed to make myself sit down and eat, just as the two boys walked in the door.
"We did it..." Naruto said, leaning against Sasuke, and both of them looking extremely roughed up.
"We climbed all the way to the top." Sasuke finished. I blinked at them drowsily, then smirked.
"Suuure... that's what you were doing..." I muttered, and Kakashi sent me a look, but no one else seemed to hear. I just ate my food, smirking happily, though falling asleep while I was eating.
Stay awake...
Stay awake, Sachi...
The others' really boring conversation didn't exactly help my situation, and I wound up falling asleep on Kakashi, who had been sitting next to me. Oh well, he was rather comfortable.
