Teresa's POV

After giving instructions to the prefects I found my friends. While Tom went to see his. "I can't believe you're head girl" Bilius states.

"Who's head boy?" Lyall asks me.

"Tom is" I answer with a smile as I stroke Faline. The twins look up from their game and smirk. "What are you two smirking about?" I ask them.

"You and Tom are the heads this year" Fabian says smirking.

"You know what that means" Gideon adds.

"What?" I ask them confused.

"You'll be moving in together" they state and I blush.

"What?!" I exclaim startling Faline. "Sorry girl" I say.

"What they mean is, you'll be moving into the head dorm room. The head boy and girl have their own dorm room. With separate bedrooms and a common room. It's not far from the Prefect bathroom" Bilius states.

"But we didn't have that" I state.

"At your old school?" Lyall asks and I nod my head.

"Tom and Teresa sitting in a tree" the twins start to sing. I cover my face with my hair trying to not blush. "First comes love, then comes marriage..." they continue. Bilius joining in.

"Oh knock it off you three" Lyall tells them. "It'll be fine Teresa" he assures me as the trolley lady appears. The twins and Bilius get themselves snacks. While I try to think of how I feel about living in the same rooms as Tom all year.

(Tom's carriage) Third Persons POV

"So will you finally make your move this year?" Richard asks Tom.

"You'll be alone with her a lot" Paul adds.

"Honestly I'm surprised you haven't done it already" John states.

"We're taking things slow" Tom states. "Besides, I will be making suggestions" he adds smirking. They all smirk at him. "So any new students that have caught your eye?" he asks them.

"Not really" Paul states.

"I was thinking about recruiting the Black family" John tells Tom.

"The Black family, an old and noble house that have been in Slytherin for generations" Tom muses. "Reach out to them, see what they can offer us and see if they'd be interested" he tells John. Who nods his head.

"So where is Teresa anyway?" Richard asks.

"With her friends" Tom answers. The trolley lady appears. "I don't want anything" he tells his friends. They nod and Richard gets a box of Berty Beans. Tom watch in amusement as the other three took turns eating different beans and their reactions.

(Time skip) Teresa's POV

We arrived at Hogsmeade station and it's bucketing down with rain. I placed a spell on myself to repel water. Before getting into a carriage with my hufflepuff friends. They all congratulate me on becoming head girl. The girls wanting to do a sleepover as soon as possible in my new dorm room. I told them I'd have to see if it would be alright with Tom.

When we reached Hogwarts. The rain had let up a little. When I go to exit my carriage I see Tom waiting for me. I smile and accept his hand jumping out of the carriage. "Why didn't you tell me we'd be sharing dorm rooms?" I ask him.

"Wanted it to be a surprise" he states. He leads me inside and to the great hall. Where we went to our separate tables. This year the sorting hats song with similar to the one from my first year. But not exactly the same. The students were sorted and Gryffindor got nine new students. Four girls and five boys. Hufflepuff got six and Ravenclaw got eight along with Slytherin.

(Time skip)

The feast was great as always. Professor Dippet gave his start of year speech. Announcing when quidditch tryouts were and some new banned items. But he didn't dismiss us. "Now this year, we'll be having our first Halloween Ball" he announces. They girls all become excited. "Usually only fourth years and above would be able to enjoy it. Along with any younger student they invited. But this year, all students will enjoy it" he states. "Dress robes will be required, so please write to your parents. Also the first Hogsmeade visit will be the end of this month. So those in third year and up can look for dress robes then" he tells us.

"That's all I have to say, so off to bed" he tells us. I say good night to my friends and meet Tom. He leads the way to our dorm room.

"Ever been to a ball before?" he asks me curious.

"Once, my third year. It was the Yule Ball during the Triwizard Tournament" I tell him. He nods his head as we reach a knight.

"Slytherdor" he says and it moves aside to reveal a door way. We enter the room. "According to Slughorn my dorm is on the left and yours on the right" he tells me. I nod my head.

"Guess we should settle in then" I state.

"But first" he says wrapping his arms around my waist. Pulling me into a deep kiss. "I missed you" he says once he pulled away looking into my eyes.

"We saw each other outside, not even an hour ago" I remind him.

"To long" he tells me. "Anyway, before you leave. I have a question for you" he states.

"Then please ask it" I tell him.

"Will you be my date to the Halloween Ball?" he asks.

"Silly question" I tell him. "But I'd love to go with you, my boyfriend" I state.

"Look forward to it, my beautiful girlfriend" he states. As he places open mouth kisses on my neck.

"Tom" I whine placing my hands on his chest. "We have school in the morning" I remind him.

"But I love you, can't we just stay up a little longer?" he asks me with a pout.

"I love you" I tell him and kiss him. "But we don't want to be late on our first day and set a bad example to the other students" I state. "We're head boy and girl. We should be setting a good example for the younger students" I tell him.

"Fine, but come the weekend. You're all mine" he tells me.

"Deal, now go to your dorm and sleep" I tell him. I kiss him sweetly. "Good night and sweet dreams" I say.

"They'd be sweeter if you were there" he tells me. I blush and slap his chest gently. "Good night Faline" he adds hugging me close. I return it. Before going to my room and smile at the four poster bed. With red and gold curtains. It feels strange being in a dorm room alone. I wonder why they stopped giving heads their own rooms?
