P.1 Crash Landing 🐙 Peter Parker
"This is Ship Ursa Minor to base do you copy!" You yelled through the intercom as your ship blared out noises and flashing lights, sending you rater dizzy as the planet came closer and closer towards you. "I repeat, this is Ship Ursa Minor to base DO YOU COPY?! I've got a code 4312 and I need backup!" You yelled again, but still the radio fuzzed out.
You threw the radio backwards over your shoulder and braced your release below your seat, taking a deep breath before bracing for impact. You pulled the yellow handle as the ground came into view, your seat shooting up and out of your tank, up into the cold air. The oxygen was thin as you travelled upwards, before slowing plummeting down.
Why wasn't your parachute working? It should have come out by now! You tugged on the release belt and yet nothing was happening. You rolled your eyes, unbuckling your seat belt and shooting forward out of your seat, your hands bracing out in front of you to grab onto a near by building top as you flew past it. Your ship cascaded into a heap on the ground as it crashed down below.
You took a deep, shaky breath, allowing yourself to be hoist onto the building top before assessing your surroundings. You recognised the place by the people standing around, the way the sky was displayed and the typical building structures. You were standing on Earth.
"Been a while" you sighed to yourself as you looked down below you, many younger teenagers looking up. You say younger, they were around your age. You jumped down, landing in your bracing position before standing up, all eyes falling on you. You stumbled a little on your feet, your suit not yet establishing the gravity ratings. Your cells were weak and they could take a couple days to warm up again.
"Are you alright?" A boy came forward, rather large and with a small brown mop of hair. You gave him a blank expression before nodding, forcing a smile. You wobbled with every step as you began walking out of what you presumed was a high school and out into the streets. It was busy, there were cars racing everywhere and millions of people. Everything seemed fuzzy. There was smoke coming out from the distance, presumably where your ship had crash landed.
You rubbed your upper brow before slowly making your way towards it. The smoke was thick and black, getting stuck in your throat as you mistakenly inhaled it. You braced your lips against your suit sleeve, protecting you from the thickening fog as you walked deeper into the cloud. The heat radiating from the growing fire was getting hotter, so much it was getting hard to bare. You opened the trunk of the large air craft, grabbing out your fist aid box and kit which held the Tesseract.
As you slammed the trunk down, the flamed ignited, trapping you in a burning circle as the rest of the ship began to implode. As it finally deposited, piece by piece of the ship flying left, right and centre, you covered your head, crouching down into a brace position. You gripped your case tightly as suddenly, you were thrown into the air, the explosion knocking you out into the open.
The wave of radiation sent from the explosion had already sunken into your weakened cells, knocking you unconscious before you hit the ground. Now, your limp body was flying through the air before finally coming into contact with an apartment window, crashing through the glass and you continued to skid across the floor until your back hit a brick wall.
You don't remember much. It all happened so fast. The last thing you could re-calibrate was the beeping noises coming from the dash board of your ship, and then the cold air as it ran up the sleeves of your suit.
You lifted your head slightly, only for you to be pushed back down again. Your eyes shot open, looking around a blank room. There were nurses and doctors running around you, you had heart registration pads connected to your arms and legs and you were bolted down at your wrists and ankles. You struggled for a moment, before the door to the room opened and the nurses attention was drawn over to the figure walking inside.
He looked old, but wise in a way. He also looked smug, and unbearably stubborn. He approached you with a smile before looking down at your restraints in distaste, unhooking your hands and ankles. You sat up immediately and swung for a punch, but he caught you. "Whoa! Steady on!" He pushed your hand back down harshly, but unintentionally.
"My name is Tony, your in New York Manhatten, located in the centre of the Avengers Tower. Now, can you tell me your name?"
"Why am I here? What do you want from me?"
"We don't want anything" Tony gave you a confused look " Your hear under medical care, you took quite a blast through Peter's window" he chuckled, standing up and walking to the end of your bed, picking up your clipboard.
"Y/N, I believe?" he looked up at you. You tilted your head to the side, giving him a warning look as you rubbed your stinging wrists. "You ok?" he asked, much more gentle this time, placing down the board at your feet.
"Can I have some water? And maybe some clothes?" you asked, gesturing down to your 'gown' that you had been placed in. He nodded, asking one of the nurses to go and collect some clothes. You slipped off the bed with caution, looking around the room.
A hand landed on your shoulder, your arm immediately swinging out and punching Tony in the chest. He winced in pain. "Shit, sorry!" you apologised, walking over and helping him stand again. He shrugged it off, chuckling to himself. "Quite the punch"
"Didn't do eleven years of training for nothing" you smiled, letting him stand on his own. The nurse returned with some clothes and Tony left you to get changed. You slipped into some black sweats and a grey crop top, the outfit feeling comfortable and suitable. You opened the door to the room and looked around in confusion, coming into view of Tony who soon joined your side again.
"Better?" he asked. You nodded slowly, your guard still standing strong. He nodded, noticing this as he gestured you to follow him. You followed tightly on Tony's tail as he lead you down some corridors and finally into an opening which looked a lot like a living room.
There was a boy sat on the couch, his elbow's resting on his knees as he stared down at his feet. Tony coughed lightly, the boy looking up to face the two of you. He rushed to his feet at your sight, walking over. You immediately began to back away, but Tony pulled you back.
"Sorry- I- I didn't mean to-"
"Don't sweat it kid, she's just a bit edgy at the moment" he whispered against the boys ear, making you hit Tony in the shoulder. He gave you a look of 'i'm innocent' making you roll your eyes. "Any way's kid, this is Peter, who's apartment window you came... Unfortunately crashing through" He sighed, placing another hand on your shoulder, to which you then grabbed and pushed him off, sending him a warning look.
You finally looked over at Peter, his brown eyes shining in the dim afternoon lighting. He looked shy, just as you were feeling. "Sorry... About that"
"Don't be, just... I don't really have a window now" he gave a low laugh, you joining him with a smile. "I'll pay for it" you smiled weakly.
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened exactly?" Tony asked as he folded his arms. You sighed, throwing your arms and out and bringing them back to your side.
"I don't remember much, but all I do remember is that I was supposed to be flying out to- Wait a second... What did you do with the case I had? And my suit?" you panicked, your hands getting sweaty.
"The case you were so called 'carrying' is in the lab, you do realise what that thing can do right?"
"Yes and it's mine give it back!" You yelled, looking between Peter and Tony.
"Peter will you just take her to your room, please" Tony asked as he walked behind him. You immediately charged for him, but Peter's strong arms caught you up, wrapping you against him and lifting you clean off the ground. You squirmed all the way up stairs, kicking your legs out making Peter wince from time to time as you would kick his shins.
Finally, he reached his room and you broke free, attempting to get out of the room, but Peter stopped you. Placing a hand on your waist and pushing his thumb against your hip, you bent into a brace, your body tensing and your knees gave way to the floor. You gave Peter a look of distaste, and yet you were pretty impressed.
"How did you-"
"Practice" he smirked, holding out his hand for you to take, which you did, standing back on the balls of your feet.
"Look you need to let me out of here, that thing that he has it- it belongs to me"
"I know and i'm sorry but I can't let you out of this room-"
"So what your gonna keep me trapped in here with you for as long as need be?"
"I suppose so!" he yelled back, throwing his hands in the air. Already there was tension in the room as you sat down on the bed, the sheets crumpling beside you as you let out a long sigh.
"Let's just start over, I'm Peter"
To Be Continued...
