Mine, not yours (Tom Holland)
Requested by _miedelas: Y/N is an actress and Tom joins her on set one day, which happens to be the day that Y/N is filming her character getting married. Tom ends up having a cameo by sitting in the church for the wedding. When Y/N walks in, Tom starts to get emotional because he's planning to propose to her. He starts to get jealous when he sees her with her co-star, so he objects and then proposes to her when they get home.
Tom and I lay on the sofa in my trailer, my body on top of his and his fingers gently combing through my hair as we watched a movie, and relaxed before I got called back onto set. As if on cue, there was a gentle knock on my door.
"Yeah?" I called out as I sat up, Tom's hand falling to rest on my back as we both looked at the door. It opened, making me give my assistant a small smile as she walked in.
"They're ready for you for the wedding scene, and they're actually wondering if Tom wants to do a little cameo, and sit in the church as one of the wedding guests." She nodded. I shrugged and nodded as I looked over my shoulder at him.
"Yeah, sure, that would be cool." He chuckled.
"Yeah, agreed." I smiled, making his smile widen as he sat up too. Tom and I had been dating for three years now, and I had loved every second of it. Despite me being an actor too and therefore meaning that distance strained on our relationship from both sides, we had made it this far, and that had allowed me to realise that Tom was truly the love of my life. Currently, I was filming season four of a show that I'd been a part of since meeting Tom, and he had come to set with me to hang out today. Which happened to be the one day that we were filming my character's wedding scene. I didn't know how it was going to go, Tom would either love the sight of me in a wedding dress, or he'd get jealous and wouldn't be too happy. But there was only one way to find out.
"Alright, well, I better go and get ready. I'll see you on set." I nodded as I leant in and pecked Tom's lips.
"Yeah, love, see you soon." He smiled, making me return it before standing up and heading out of my trailer with my assistant.
Tom's P.O.V
Tom sat on one of the benches in the set of the church, the boy now clad in a suit courtesy of the show's costume department as he sat along with the rest of the extras and waited for the filming of the scene to start.
"Okay, everyone, listen up, please! We're going to start the scene now, so your directions are as follows. The doors will open, and everyone is going to stand up as Y/N starts to walk down the aisle. Smiles, tears, all eyes on her, and then we'll film the ceremony. Everyone clear?" The director asked. Tom nodded as well as everyone else, small mumbles of agreement also being heard.
"Okay, filming starts in three...two...one...action!" The doors of the church opened, Tom standing up along with the rest of the extras as they all looked down to where Y/N was. As soon as Tom saw her, his breath was taken away. His eyes widened, his pupils wavering and a small breath slipping his lips at the sight of her. Y/N was clad in a figure-hugging white dress, a flowing veil clipped into her curled to perfection hair. To say that she looked absolutely stunning was an understatement. Tom bit his lip, genuine tears already pricking his eyes as Y/N started to walk down the aisle alongside her on-screen father. Everything about this felt perfect to Tom, well, apart from the fact that he wasn't the one standing at the end of the aisle. He had to remind himself that this was just the show, it wasn't real. But soon, it hopefully would be to them. Because Tom had been keeping a secret from Y/N. And that was that he was planning to propose to his girlfriend of three years. After all, the stunning girl was the love of his life, and the feelings that he was experiencing right now at the sight of her in a wedding dress and walking down an aisle only further confirmed what Tom knew that he wanted. And that was to spend the rest of his life with her. He continued to watch as she got to the altar, a tear slipping out of his eye at how simply perfect she looked as a bride. He just wanted her to be his bride soon. Because that was the only problem with this current situation. Tom knew that this was just acting, but he had to admit that he was starting to get jealous at the sight of her smiling at her on-screen fiance, and holding his hand. He clenched his jaw, everything in him wishing that it was him looking at her in that way right now. He was almost forgetting that this was just a show, hence why his eyes widened when the priest said that all important line.
"Now, I have to ask, does anyone object to this marriage?" The priest asked.
"Yeah, I do." Tom scoffed, making everyone look at him with wide eyes, and gasp as he stood up.
"She's mine. Not yours." He smiled sarcastically and nodded, pure red in his vision as he stared at the asshole that was holding his girlfriend.
Y/N's P.O.V
I stood on the outside of the church, my assistant making sure that my dress fell correctly as we waited for confirmation that we were about to start filming.
"Okay, we've been given the go ahead, you ready?" My assistant asked.
"Let's do this." I nodded, making her return it as the doors opened to indicate the start of the scene. I smiled and bit my lip, my mind automatically slipping into my role as I took the arm of my on-screen father, and started to walk. The eyes of every single extra were on me, a giggle leaving my lips as I looked down the aisle to my on-screen fiance. But with subtlety, I started to look across the benches for Tom. I found him soon enough, my heart fluttering in my chest at the absolute look of admiration and love that was in his eyes. That made my smile wider and more genuine, everything in me wishing that it was instead Tom that I was walking towards, and that it was an actual wedding. But also I knew that this was just for the scene, and I hoped that one day, this would genuinely be us. I gave my co-star a smile as I got to the altar, him returning it as he gently took my hand, and we continued filming of the scene.
"Now, I have to ask, does anyone object to this marriage?" The priest asked.
"Yeah, I do." Tom scoffed, making my eyes widen and dart to my real-life boyfriend as he stood from his seat.
"Tom." I scoffed to myself.
"She's mine. Not yours." He smiled sarcastically and nodded, jealousy etched all over his face as he stared at my co-star.
"Cut, Y/N, can you do something?" The director sighed.
"Yeah, I'm so sorry." I shook my head, making Tom gulp as I headed back down the aisle and towards him. I grabbed his hand and pulled him out, everyone staring at us as I pulled him out of the church.
"I'm sorry, darling, I don't know what happened, I'm sorry." Tom gulped as I pulled him into my trailer, and shut the door behind us before turning to face him.
"Tommy, what happened?" I sighed and shook my head as I gently cupped his face with my hands.
"I-I don't know, sweetheart, I'm sorry, I just, I saw you in that dress, and you looked fucking stunning, you looked breathtaking, and everything was perfect, apart from the fact that you weren't walking towards me, but fuck it, fuck it, I can't wait any longer to make that happen." He shook his head, making my eyes widen as he reached his hand into his pocket.
"Tom, what-." My eyes widened further, my heart completely stopping in my chest as before I knew what was happening, Tom had gotten down onto one knee in front of me. I choked and held my now shaking hands up to cover my mouth, my mind hardly believing that this was actually happening as Tom opened the small velvet box to reveal the most gorgeous engagement ring that I'd ever seen.
"Oh, Tommy, oh my god." I choked and shook my head as tears started to leave my eyes. Tom smiled and bit his lip, his eyes also glassing over as he looked up at me.
"This wasn't how I was planning to propose, my love, but I don't care. I can't wait another second to make you mine for life, to promise that soon enough, I will marry you. I love you so fucking much, darling, and the feelings that I had when seeing you in that dress only confirmed that you're my one. So, Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?" He choked and shook his head.
"Tommy, of course I will!" I laughed and nodded. Tom's eyes wavered, a breathless laugh also leaving his lips as he shot back up to his feet. He took my face and smashed our lips together, me returning it immediately as tears rolled down both of our faces. He broke the kiss and hugged me tightly, both of us laughing into each other's hair as I held onto him for dear life. Tom had just proposed, he had actually proposed. And I had said yes.
"I can't put it on right now since I need to finish filming, but it's absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to wear it." I choked and shook my head as I pulled away, but only enough to look at Tom as he held my waist.
"I can't wait for you to wear it either, sweetheart. I can't wait to be your husband." He smiled as his gaze flicked between my eyes and my lips.
"And I can't wait to be your wife." I returned the smile, making him laugh and shake his head as he leant in and kissed me again.
