Amnesia. Again *part 3* (Tom Holland)

Requested by -NoraAdeline: Y/N gets amnesia, and Tom has to make her remember him.

Kudos to 83PacksOfToiletPaper for the idea for this chapter :).

I stood in Tom's kitchen, my body clad in one of the boy's dress shirts as I poured the hot water into the two mugs to make Tom and I a cup of coffee each. I stirred everything together before picking up the mugs and going to head to Tom's spare bedroom, where he had been sleeping since I'd moved in with him two months ago. I gently knocked on the door before nudging it open, my mind grateful that Tom had only pulled the door to as the sight of Tom still in bed filled my vision.

"Morning, Tommy." I spoke softly, the boy who I was falling for more by the day looking at me with one eye open and his face scrunched up out of tiredness as he looked at me through his messy curls. His other eye peeled open, his arms holding him up as I walked towards him.

"Love, are you...are you wearing my shirt?" He scoffed, a smirk curling onto his lips as I sat down on the edge of his bed.

"Yeah, I hope that that's okay. I couldn't find my pyjamas last night, so I found this instead. I'll take it off if you want." I flirted, making Tom's smirk widen as he sat up properly, and shook his head. My eyes immediately flicked down to his abs, my own smile dipping and my throat gulping harshly as I saw them. I couldn't lie, Tom was so fucking hot. The sight before me was familiar from before my accident, the issue was that I was never given context to my memories when they happened, and so all I knew was that I had some vague memories of Tom's top half being bare around me. But I wasn't stupid, I knew that that didn't guarantee that we'd been together.

"As much as I'd love that, keep it on. You look good in my clothes, darling." Tom returned as he took one of the coffees from me. I smirked and bit my lip as I looked down, my cheeks burning at the flirting that had become regular between us. In the two months since I'd been living with Tom, we'd grown inseparable, with something always being underlying just underneath our friendship. I knew that I was falling for Tom, but the fact that he had started actively flirting with me about a month ago, made me think that I had a chance. Unfortunately I hadn't had too many memories yet, not of Tom, anyway. So far into the journey, I'd met his brothers and his best friend, Harrison, all of which I had started to recall memories of before I'd had the accident. But sadly, the same couldn't be said for Tom. Not yet. I'd admittedly had memories of steamy encounters with the same guy each time, though his face was always buried in my neck and so I could never tell if it was Tom, or some other guy. And so, right now all I could do was continue to let my feelings grow organically for the boy, but that was working well enough and so I wouldn't complain.

"So, um, Haz texted me last night, and suggested that we go to the pub this evening with him and my brothers. It's the one that we all used to go to, so it might jog some memories for you. What do you think?" Tom asked, the boy taking a sip of his coffee before starting to lean over so that he could put the mug on the bedside table. I gulped harshly, everything in me trying to look away as my eyes were seemingly glued to how fucking good he looked, his arm muscles bulging as him leaning across gave me a perfect view of his phenomenal torso. He raised an eyebrow at me, his lips clearly threatening to curl into an even bigger smirk as he looked at me.

"Darling?" He prompted. I snapped back, my eyes widening and my cheeks deeply burning as I realised that Tom had just blatantly caught me checking him out.

"Y-yeah, sorry, um...that sounds good, it'll be good to see them again." I smiled and nodded, making Tom return the nod as I took a sip of my coffee, and tried to pretend that the guy that I was falling in love with hadn't just caught me checking him out. Not that it particularly mattered. After all, I had suspected from the second that I had first seen Tom in the hospital that whilst I couldn't remember, we'd had something more than just friendship before my accident. Regardless of the fact that I still couldn't remember, our relationship was definitely progressing, and so sooner rather than later, I wanted Tom to be mine. I just hoped that he felt the same way.

Tom and I wandered into the pub that we had apparently frequented before my accident, his hand on the small of my back as we looked around for Harrison and the twins.

"There they are, love." Tom mumbled into my ear as he pointed towards a table at the back, making me nod and take his hand as we headed towards them.

"Ey, there they are! How's it going, you look great!" Harrison beamed as he stood up, and I leant in to hug him.

"Thank you, Haz. I'm doing good, we're good." I smiled, Tom hugging his brothers as Harrison and I hugged. The blond boy's eyes widened slightly as he looked at me.

"Does that mean that you've been having memories of Tom?" He asked hopefully.

"No, no, but we're getting along naturally, you know? That's what I mean." I nodded. His smile dipped slightly but he nodded anyway, my heart fluttering in my chest as I felt Tom's hand on my lower back again.

"Right, make yourself comfortable, darling, I'm going to get us some drinks." He nodded.

"I haven't told you what I want, though." I scoffed.

"Trust me, I know what you like." Tom chuckled, making me playfully roll my eyes and smile as he wandered off to the bar. I sat down with the twins and Harrison, the boys smiling at me as we sat.

"So, did we hear you saying that you haven't had any memories of Tom yet?" Sam sighed. I returned it and shrugged, my cheeks burning again at the questioning. I hated it as much as the boys and Tom that I didn't seem to have regained any memories about Tom, but it wasn't like I could control what, and who I got memories of. I knew that no one blamed me for that, but it still hurt when I got asked if I'd had any memories of Tom, and had to say that I hadn't.

"Not yet, but I was saying to Harrison that our relationship is growing naturally anyway." I nodded.

"Relationship? Not just friendship?" Harry asked with a smile. I returned it and looked down, my cheeks burning at the implication as all three boys gave me knowing smiles.

"What can I say, I...I'm really falling for him. I don't know what we were before my accident, I don't know if I'm supposed to feel like this towards Tom, but...I do. I'm falling in love with him." I admitted with a shrug as I looked back up at them.

"That's really good to hear, Y/N. He's really cared about you, he always has. That's why he lo-."

"Harry." Sam suddenly cut him off, making my smile dip as Harrison and Sam both gave the boy death glares. I looked between them with furrowed eyebrows.

"Boys, what the fuck? Harry, what were you going to say?" I scoffed.

"Nothing, sorry. It doesn't matter." He shook his head, making me sigh as Tom sat back down next to me.

"Alright, my love, I got you your favourite, double vodka coke." Tom beamed as he placed the glass in front of me. I scoffed again and looked at him.

"How did you know that, Tommy?" I smiled at him. He shrugged and returned the smile, his eyes flicking between my lips and eyes as he put his arm around me, and rested it against the back of my chair.

"What can I say, my love? I know you." He nodded, making me smile and bite my lip as we continued to gaze at each other, so much love in Tom's eyes as they flicked between my own, and my lips.

"Fucking hell, get a room, you two." Harrison's voice sliced through the mounting tension, making me smirk as I finally broke the gaze to look at Tom's best friend.

"Would you shut the fuck up?" Tom scoffed as he grabbed a peanut out of the bowl on the table and chucked it at Harrison, all of us laughing and starting to joke as the night began.

Tom's P.O.V

Tom sat opposite his brothers and Y/N, his eyes glued to the love of his life as he watched her laugh and joke with the twins. His heart only fell in love with her more at the sight of her getting along so well with them, though of course Tom knew that she had been like that before the accident. It just felt good to see her like that again after two months of trying to get back to normal with her, trying to make her remember who she was. It had been excruciating, but moments like this made it all worth it.

"She's falling for you all over again, you know? Not that she knows that." Harrison mumbled quietly, making Tom look at his best friend.

"What?" He scoffed. Harrison nodded and briefly looked at Y/N before turning his gaze back to Tom.

"Whilst you were getting your drinks, she told the three of us that she's falling for you. She doesn't remember being in love with you before the accident, but...that's progress, right? The fact that she can't remember previously being your girlfriend, and yet is still falling for you again. She's in love with you, Tom. You did it." He nodded. Tom's eyes widened slightly at his best friend's words, his heart fluttering in his chest as he looked at Y/N. At the fact that whilst he hadn't yet succeeded in making her remember him, he had succeeded in making her fall in love with him all over again. Because that had been one of the worries when Y/N had lost her memory, that she wouldn't fall for Tom, and he'd have lost the love of his life, with her also unknowingly losing hers too. And so the fact that she was falling in love with him, after only two months, meant the fucking world to Tom.

"Thanks for telling me, Haz. Thank you." He nodded and took one more swig of his beer, making Harrison return the nod and give him a small smile as Tom stood up, and a slow song started to play out of the pub speakers.

"I'm being serious!" Y/N exclaimed, both Sam and Harry pissing themselves with laughter as Tom approached the trio.

"Darling." Tom spoke, making Y/N look up at him and give him a smile as she did.

"May I have this dance?" He asked as he extended his hand to her, his heart fluttering at the idea of being able to hold Y/N close again for the first time in almost three months. Y/N's smile widened at his offer.

"Of course I'll dance with you, Tommy." She spoke, making him bite his lip as she placed her hand into his and stood up. Tom gently led her to the open space on the pub floor, his arm curling around her waist to pull her into his body as they stopped in place. Y/N's hand found his shoulder, their free hands taking the other person's as Tom rested his cheek against her hair. The pair started to sway from side to side, Tom's eyes fluttering shut as he just cherished the feeling of holding the love of his life like this again. Her body felt fucking perfect in his arms, just like it had always done, but Tom had almost forgotten this feeling given how long it had been since he'd been allowed to hold her like this. Her hair smelt fucking sensational, telling Tom that she'd showered recently as he took in every single moment of this chance. Y/N's hand felt like bliss against his shoulder, her other one smaller in his as they continued to dance. Despite how fucked up this situation had been for the last two months, it all just felt right now. Not only was he getting the chance to finally hold her again, but he also knew for sure now that she was falling for him all over again. As much as Tom wanted her to remember all of their good times together, it now felt that little less important considering that she was falling for him anyway. Tom couldn't get over that, couldn't get over the fact that he would get his love back, one way or another. He turned and pressed his lips to her head, the kiss lingering for a second as they continued to dance. And Tom continued to relish the fact that after two months, he was finally getting the love of his life back. Y/N was finally coming back to him.

Y/N's P.O.V

"I'm being serious!" I exclaimed, both Sam and Harry pissing themselves with laughter as the alcohol and conversation flowed. By this point in the night, we were all four or five drinks in, and so my head was really starting to feel fuzzy as I continued to talk and laugh with Tom's brothers.

"Darling." I looked up and gave Tom a smile as he appeared in front of me.

"May I have this dance?" He asked as he extended his hand to me. My brain only just registered that a slow song was now playing in the pub, my heart fluttering and my smile widening at Tom's incredibly romantic offer.

"Of course I'll dance with you, Tommy." I spoke, making him bite his lip as I placed my hand into his and stood up. Tom gently led me to the open space on the pub floor, his arm curling around my waist to pull me into his body as we stopped in place. My hand found his shoulder, our free hands taking the other person's as Tom rested his cheek against my hair. We started to sway from side to side, my eyes fluttering shut as I relished the feeling of being in Tom's arms like this. Since we'd met two months ago, Tom had been seemingly afraid to touch me, up until recently, and so I was admittedly loving the fact that right now, he was holding me close completely unapologetically. I had to admit that it felt perfect having Tom's arm wrapped around my waist, that same arm holding me into his strong chest as we danced to the music, and he rested his cheek against my head. This wasn't helping my feeling towards him, though I was almost certain by now that he felt the same way. Otherwise, he wouldn't be holding me like this, with so much love and care as if I'd break if he was too harsh. Tom's hand felt like bliss against my waist, my other one smaller in his as we continued to dance. I figured that it was obvious where my relationship with Tom was going, but regardless I couldn't wait. I couldn't wait for him finally to not be afraid to kiss me, I couldn't wait for him to finally take me, and make love to me all night long. I couldn't wait to finally get those moments with him, no matter how far away they may have been. I felt Tom turn his head and press his lips to my hair, my lips curling into a smile as his kiss lingered for a second as we continued to dance. It felt like I was finally coming back, it felt like I was finally starting to remember Tom. Not even in memories, but in feelings. Because the feeling of him holding me wasn't new, I'd experienced this before. But I knew that that was better than nothing, and so I'd take it. I was finally coming back. And I was coming back to Tom.
