The field trip (Peter Parker)

Requested by V0lleyballGirll: Y/N is an Avenger who is dating Peter. One day, Peter's on a field trip that visits the Tower. Y/N freaks out when she sees Peter with his classmates, making everyone question how he knows an Avenger.

"Baby, I have to go." Peter mumbled, my boyfriend's head leaning down to press kisses to my neck as our naked bodies lay in my sheets.

"No, you don't." I whined as I held onto his arm that was wrapped around my waist, making him chuckle as I pressed my back further into his chest.

"Yeah, I do. I have school in fifteen minutes, I'm going to be late if I don't go now." he nodded. I sighed and looked at him, making him peck my lips before sitting up and starting to get dressed again. I was Y/N Stark, the daughter of Tony Stark and a fellow Avenger. Peter and I had met three years ago when my dad had recruited the scared fifteen-year-old boy to be Spider-Man. We had clicked immediately, and had been together ever since. The problem was that due to the fact that Peter had to keep his superhero identity secret to most people in his life, that also meant that I was a secret. As far as I was aware, only his aunt May, Ned and MJ knew that I existed in terms of my relationship with him. Though I did understand why, keeping himself separate from Spider-Man in public was a big thing for Peter, and so I'd continue to respect that.

"You know, I think that I would have liked normal high-school over being homeschooled." I nodded as I propped my head up on my elbow and watched Peter get dressed. He chuckled and looked at me as he zipped his jeans up.

"I think so too, angel, but your teachers are also way better than mine." He teased as he pulled his t-shirt on too.

"I don't know, Mr. Harrington sounds nice from what you've said about him." I smiled.

"They're nice, they're just not Mr. Stark and Bruce Banner." He chuckled, making my smile widen as he leant against the bed to get closer to me.

"I'll see you tonight. I love you." He mumbled as he pecked my lips before standing up and grabbing his backpack.

"Swing safely." I nodded as he opened my window and fired a web at the outside of the tower.

"You know that I always do." He smiled, making me chuckle and shake my head as he jumped out of my window.

Peter's P.O.V

Peter landed in the alleyway near the school, his web disconnecting from the shooter as he looked around to make sure that no one had seen him. He nodded and brushed himself off as he jogged out of the alleyway and towards the school. His eyebrows furrowed, confusion filling his mind as he saw the bus outside of the school, Ned and MJ in the crowd waiting for it.

"Hey, guys." He spoke, making them look at him as he jogged towards them.

"You're late, Parker." MJ scoffed.

"I'm not, I'm right on time. What's with the bus?" He asked as he looked at the large vehicle.

"Dude, don't tell me that you forgot about the field trip today. We're going to the Avengers' Tower." Ned stated. Peter's eyes widened, his mouth falling open as he looked at them.

"Oh, fuck...I completely forgot, shit." He winced as he held his hands to his curls.

"I'm guessing that that means you also forgot to tell Y/N that you'd be there today?" MJ chuckled.

"Yeah, she doesn't know. Shit, she's totally going to freak out when she sees me, what if she accidentally exposes me? People are going to question how I know her." He groaned as he rubbed a hand over his face. To say that this was bad was an understatement. Peter had completely forgotten to warn Y/N that he'd be on a field trip to her home, meaning that she wouldn't know not to react to him when she saw him. After all, he loved her with all of his being, but she'd been raised by some of the most socially inept people ever, making her equally as naive to social cues and norms that other people would get. Unless he warned her, she wouldn't know not to acknowledge the fact that she knew him in front of his classmates. Him simply forgetting to tell her could prove to be the cause of his exposure. And his brain was currently working at a million miles an hour to figure out how he'd avoid that. After all, he was fucked if an entire bus of his classmates found out that he was really Spider-Man.

"Guys, I'm going to need your help when we get there. I have to find Y/N before we all get to her, and talk to her. Promise me that you'll help." He gulped as they started to file onto the bus.

"Course we will, we're your best friends." Ned smiled.

"Speak for yourself, I'll do it for five bucks." MJ scoffed.

"MJ?!" Peter exclaimed.

"Chill, Spidey-boy, I was kidding, of course we'll help. For free, I suppose." She teased, making Peter sigh in relief as the bus started to move.

Peter's class walked through the Tower, the tour guide talking to them and showing them around the impressive building. But Peter's focus wasn't on the tour. His heart was facing, his stomach filled with nerves as he knew that he had to find Y/N and warn her about the fact that he was here before she saw him with the class and accidentally exposed him. He gulped and looked around, figuring that his best bet was to go to her room and hope that she was there.

"So, the next stop on the tour is the twelve floor, which is home to the private quarters of all of the Avengers. We're allowed to take you up there, but won't be showing you the rooms." The tour guide smiled, making Peter's eyes widen as he snapped back. Fuck, he thought, he had to get to the twelve floor before the rest of his class did.

"MJ, I need you to distract the tour guide. I have to get up there by myself first to warn Y/N." he gulped.

"What the hell am I supposed to do as a distraction?!" She hissed quietly.

"I don't know, do anything! Ask more about the history of the Avengers or something, anything, please, I need this!" He replied equally as hushed. She sighed and stuck her tongue in her cheek, making Peter gulp harshly.

"Fine, fuck, go. God, the things that I do for you." She mumbled.

"Thank you, I owe you." He nodded. His eyes flicked to Mr. Harrington and the tour guide to make sure that they were distracted before sneaking away from the group and rushing to the elevators.

"Um, I have a question." MJ spoke, making Peter look at her as she raised her hand.

"Who's your favourite superhero? I don't have one, but I do have a least favourite, which is Spider-Man, because isn't he so annoying?" She laughed and shook her head, making Peter chuckle as he snuck into the elevator and pressed the button for Y/N's floor.

Y/N's P.O.V

I puffed out as I headed out of my room, my mind bored as fuck as I tried to occupy myself for the day. It was my day off from training, I had completed my schooling for the year, and I wasn't allowed out on missions yet, which meant a big fat fucking nothing for me to do with myself. My head snapped to the elevator as it dinged, my eyes widening as Peter rushed out of it.

"Peter, what the fuck are you doing here?" I scoffed as he rushed towards me.

"Don't talk, just listen, I have virtually no time." He shook his head, making my eyes widen further as he grabbed me by my biceps.

"Peter, what-."

"I'm so sorry, I completely forgot to tell you, my class is here on a field trip, they're here today, they're coming up the other elevator now, they don't know about me knowing you, so you can't say anything, you can't act weird." he gulped as he shook his head. I just stared at him with a wide gaze, my mind desperately trying to comprehend what he was telling me.

"I don't-." The other elevator pinged, making Peter gulp as he let me go and took a step back. My eyes widened further, butterflies of anxiety filling my stomach as another twenty students, including Ned and MJ, flooded out of the elevator. My mind raced as I desperately tried to figure out what to do. Whilst I'd been raised by some of the smartest people on the planet, I'd also been raised by some of the most socially stupid people on the planet, meaning that I had no fucking clue what to do right now.

"Penis Parker, what were you doing alone with Iron Man's daughter? Who it's a pleasure to meet, by the way." One of the guys smirked, making me gulp and try not to accidentally expose Peter.

"Shut up, Flash, as if someone like her would ever go for someone like you." MJ scoffed.

"Are these your friends, Peter?" I asked as I gestured to all of them. Peter sighed and closed his eyes, the other students' eyes widening at my words.

"You know her, Peter?" another one of the students asked. Peter's eyes widened, his mouth falling open as he tried to come up with something that wasn't the truth. Fuck, I thought, I shouldn't have said what I did.

"Yeah, how do you know an Avenger?" The one apparently called Flash sneered.

"I, um, because, well...shit-."

"I've met him once or twice through his work on my dad's internship. We're passing friends." I lied with a shrug. Peter looked at me, Ned and MJ also exchanging side glances as all four of us tried to figure out if his classmates would buy the lie.

"Damn, imagine being actual friends with an Avenger. And you always accused him of lying, Flash." one of the girls scoffed, making the boy's eyes widen as the class started to move along.

"Oh, yeah, sure, as if he actually knows Black Widow. That girl is probably a paid actress or something." He nodded as they disappeared around the corner. I sighed and bit my lip, Peter breathing a sigh of relief as he looked at me.

"Sorry. I really should have read the social signs there." I smiled sheepishly. He chuckled and shook his head as he curled his arms around my waist, making me rest my hands against his chest.

"It's okay, you still did good. And it's my fault anyway, if I would have remembered to tell you that we'd be coming here today, you wouldn't have had to improvise." He shrugged.

"You can make it up to me with dinner tonight. Followed by a little bit of, well...you know what." I smirked and hovered my lips underneath his.

"Or a lot of that, depending on how angry you still are at me." He returned the flirting.

"Oh, I'll still be angry, you better make it a lot." I teased with a nod. His smirk widened, making me giggle as he leant down and pressed our lips together. I returned the kiss, my hands holding his face as his hands gripped my waist. He broke the kiss and looked at me.

"I've got to go again, baby. I'll see you tonight, though." he nodded as he removed his arms from me and started to walk in the direction that his class had gone.

"Second time today that you've left me, Pete. You've got a lot of making up to do tonight." I called after him.

"Happily." He nodded, making me smirk and wink at him as he disappeared around the corner.
