Shipped with my co-star (Tom Holland)

Requested by _miedelas: Y/N and Tom have been dating for years, but they've managed to keep their relationship mostly secret from the world. So, when Y/N plays a Disney princess, Tom starts to get upset when everyone ships her with her co-star, who plays the prince. At one event, a kid asks Y/N where her prince is, and she responds by kissing Tom. They go home and cuddle, whilst Tom continues to say that he doesn't deserve Y/N.

I stood in mine and Tom's bedroom, my fingers fiddling to put my last earring in as I stood in front of our full-length mirror. I eventually got it in before looking at my full appearance in the mirror. I nodded to myself, my eyes skimming over my curled hair, purple lips and midnight blue dress that hugged my figure and had a slit up the leg to be a little teasing without showing too much.

"I look hot." I mumbled to myself before grabbing my clutch and opening the door. I walked out into our apartment, Tom looking up at me from his phone as my boyfriend of five years leant against the sofa. His eyes widened as he saw me.

"Oh my god, love, you look stunning! Wow." He scoffed and shook his head, making me smile as he stood up and his gaze flicked up and down my body.

"You sure? It's not too much, or too little?" I double-checked.

"No. It's perfect, darling, absolutely perfect. You look beautiful." He smiled as he curled his arms around my waist, and I rested my hands against his chest.

"Thank you, Tommy. Are you absolutely sure that you don't want to come tonight?" I sighed.

"We're not allowed to, sweetheart, it doesn't matter if I want to be there." He scoffed, making me sigh again and bite my lip as I looked at him. Tom and I had been dating for five years now, and our romance was nothing short of perfect. He was truly the love of my life, the fact that we were starting to talk about marriage and kids showing me that he reciprocated those feelings. The only thing was that we'd never gone public with our relationship, and so whilst there were plenty of secretly taken shots of us out and about, officially, the world didn't know about the two of us. Which hadn't been a problem, until I had been cast to play 'Sleeping Beauty' in the live action remake of the famous Disney movie. Of course Tom had been over the moon for me, my supportive boyfriend being so proud of me like he always was, but the novelty of the role started to wear off once my co-star, Charlie, and I started to be seen together, and therefore shipped together. Ever since photos of us laughing and messing about together on-set came out a year and a half ago, the world had been obsessed with rumours suggesting that we were an item. This of course upset Tom, the idea that the whole world thought that I looked cuter with my co-star than with him, which was only made worse by the fact that I wasn't allowed to bring him to the premiere of the movie tonight and Charlie wasn't allowed to bring his girlfriend so that we could keep up the appearance that we were a couple. I hated it, but after tonight, there would be no more images of Charlie and I together, and so hopefully the rumours about us being together would stop.

"You know that I would have you there if I could, Tommy." I gulped, my heart aching at my boyfriend so hurt as I timidly looked up at him.

"I know, love. It's not your fault or Charlie's, it's your stupid directors. It doesn't matter, you're going to have a brilliant night celebrating the amazing work that you've done. Focus on that, yeah?" He reassured. I nodded and gave him a small smile. Even when he was upset, Tom still never failed to be the amazingly supportive boyfriend that he was.

"I need to go. But I love you, and I'll be back later." I nodded as I leant up and pecked his lips.

"Have fun, darling, but not too much fun without me there." he smiled, making me chuckle and bite my lip as I left his arms and headed for the door. I sighed and looked back at him, my heart still worried that Tom wasn't letting on to me how much the rumours upset him. After all, rumours about him and Zendaya had always circulated during his 'Spider-Man' movies, most of which we were together for, and so I knew how hurtful it could be to see the love of your life being shipped with someone else.

"Go, sweetheart, I'll be fine, have a good night. I love you." He chuckled. I sighed and gave him a small smile.

"I love you too." I nodded before opening the front door and heading out.

Tom's P.O.V

Tom sat on the sofa, the boy absentmindedly watching TV with Tessa's head on his lap as he tried to pass the hours before Y/N would be home from the premiere. The premiere that he still couldn't believe that him and Charlie's girlfriend had been banned from, but that was the directors. He sighed and grabbed his phone, figuring that social media would also help to pass the time as he clicked onto Instagram. What a dumb fucking idea that was. The first thing on Tom's feed was a tabloid account that had already posted the red-carpet photos of Y/N and Charlie at the premiere. Charlie looked awesome and as always Y/N looked absolutely stunning, the photo a genuinely nice one as the pair of them laughed and looked at each other. The problem was the caption. Tom gulped harshly, his heart starting to beat more rapidly out of jealousy as he read the headline:

Hollywoodweekly: BREAKING: Y/N Y/L/N and co-star Charlie Rashmond spotted arm in arm at 'Sleeping Beauty' premiere, laughing together and enjoying themselves. Looks like Y/L/N may have finally found her real-life Prince Charming in Rashmond ;).

Tom scoffed and shook his head, the jealousy only getting worse as he clicked through to the comments. He knew that they'd only make him feel worse, but he couldn't help himself. Once again, he regretted that move instantly as he read the comments flooding in.

They look so cute together!

URGH, why are they so perfect?

My daughter loves them together!

Tom stopped scrolling and clicked his phone off, every comment like a stab through his heart. He knew that he had limited right to be jealous considering that he and Y/N were still pretty secretive about their relationship, but he couldn't help it. He knew that Y/N and Charlie were good friends by now and so of course they'd laugh together, but it hurt that the world thought that they looked better together than he did with her. He sighed and shook his head, deciding that just shutting his phone off and not looking at any more comments about how much Charlie made Y/N laugh would be best for Tom tonight as he gently stroked Tessa's head and continued to watch the movie.

Y/N's P.O.V

Tom and I walked into the press event hand in hand, our fingers intertwined as we walked in. It had been a week since the premiere of 'Sleeping Beauty' and I had come home to find Tom pretty upset about all that had been said online about Charlie and I. I had tried to comfort him as best as I could, but we had both decided that enough was enough. We had decided to go to the first official press event after the premiere together, hand in hand, to show that we were a couple. And so, that was where we were tonight. The venue was buzzing with paparazzi, camera flashes going off every few seconds as I smiled and waved at everyone. I bit my lip and looked at Tom.

"You doing okay, Tommy?" I checked.

"Yeah, I'm great." He reassured, making me give him a small smile as he leant in and kissed my cheek.

"Y/N, can we steal you for an interview?" One of the reporters asked as she walked up to me.

"Yeah, of course." I nodded before looking back at Tom.

"I'll be mingling." He teased, making me smile and peck his lips as we parted ways. I went with the reporter, a smile on my lips as I walked towards the already rolling camera.

"So, Y/N, we're here at the first press event for 'Sleeping Beauty'. This movie is a big deal, and you're an even bigger deal." The reporter smiled, making me chuckle and bite my lip.

"Yeah, it's a really awesome movie and I'm so honoured to have been a part of it. Everyone on it worked so hard to make it a reality, and it really makes us all proud to see it in cinemas, being enjoyed by so many people." I nodded.

"Now, there have been many rumours circulating about this movie, more specifically about you and your co-star, Charlie Rashmond. Is there any truth to any of that?" She asked, making me laugh as she suggestively wiggled her eyebrows.

"Charlie and I are good friends, but no, that's as far as our relationship goes. We're both in committed relationships with other people, and so just friends is how far it extends." I chuckled.

"Now, we hope that you don't mind, but we ran a little competition, and the winner got the chance to meet you here tonight. So, we have them here right now." She smiled, making my eyes widen slightly as one of the members of staff walked towards me with a little girl grasping their hand.

"Hey there!" I smiled, my mind immediately getting into character as I crouched down to be at eye level with her.

"I can't believe that I get to meet you! You're my favourite princess ever!" The girl squealed.

"Why thank you! Don't worry, I won't tell the other princesses that." I played along, making her giggle and nod.

"Where's your prince?" She asked innocently. I bit my lip, my heart jumping as I looked at her. This could be the perfect opportunity to show the world that Tom and I were together, if I brought him over to answer the question. Not to mention that it would be super fucking cute and romantic.

"Let's see." I nodded, my eyes scanning over the crowd as I stood back up.

"Oh, there he is." I smiled as I caught Tom's gaze and started to wave him over. His eyes widened and he raised his eyebrows to question what I was saying, making me nod in reassurance. He returned it before starting to head over to us.

"Hey, guys, what's up?" He chuckled nervously, the nerves clearly there because he didn't know why I'd called him over as he hooked his arm around my waist.

"This little cutie asked where my prince was. And, well, you're my prince, so I brought you over." I smiled. Tom's face softened as he looked at me.

"Wow. I think that that's the sweetest thing that you've ever said to me." He nodded, making my smile widen as I leant in and kissed him.

"This entire time, your prince has been Tom Holland?!" The reporter exclaimed, making us chuckle as we broke the kiss.

"I'm a lucky girl, aren't I?" I teased, earning a laugh from the reporter as Tom smiled and kissed my head.

"Wow. What a night." I chuckled, Tom sitting on the sofa in his t-shirt and sweatpants as I padded back into the room in my pyjamas.

"I know, it's crazy. We kissed in front of the cameras. We actually made our relationship public." He smiled as I sat down next to him, and he curled his arm around my waist.

"And doesn't it feel good?" I returned his smile. He bit his lip and looked at me.

"It does. But I also can't help but feel like I don't deserve you." He admitted. My eyebrows furrowed at his words.

"What do you mean?" I asked. He sighed and shook his head.

"It's just been a long year of seeing all of the rumours about you and Charlie. Seeing photos of you two laughing and the captions alongside them saying how he clearly makes you so happy, meanwhile, you've been nothing but supportive and understanding of my feelings when I've gotten upset. It just...it makes me feel like you're too good for me. Like I don't deserve you." He admitted. I sighed and bit my lip, my heart breaking at his words. I had known that Tom had been upset about the rumours and I had suspected that he'd not been letting on to me quite how upset he was, but I hadn't realised that it had been so bad that he had been made to question if he actually deserved me.

"Tommy, of course you deserve me. You love me, you support me, you care about me, and therefore you deserve me. I know that the rumour mill has worked way overtime this year, but that always happens when two young people play a couple in a movie. I completely get that having all of these rumours surrounding us has upset you, but trust me, you deserve me. You've deserved me for the last five years, and you'll continue to deserve me for the rest of our lives." I reassured. He sighed and gave me a small smile, though I could tell that my words had helped as his arms gently pulled me onto his lap.

"Thank you, darling, that means a lot. I love you." He mumbled as he buried his face into my neck.

"I love you too, Tommy. Come on, let's put a movie on and just relax." I nodded.

"That sounds like a good plan." He smiled as he put the TV on. We cuddled for the rest of the night and ended up putting on my movie. Despite a few more jokey comments from Tom about how he'd still be jealous about Charlie and I, I think that I'd done an okay job of reassuring him that I loved him, he loved me, and that was all that mattered.
