Out and about when the assholes come running (Mob boss!AU, Tom Holland)

Requested by miagherkin: Y/N is Tom's girlfriend and is out in public when a guy approaches her and won't leave her alone. Tom sees and gets protective over her, leading to him killing the guy.

I walked along the street, my forearm held up and my bag's straps held in the crease of my elbow as I walked along the London street. People's eyes widened as they saw me, the bodies immediately moving and not risking even breathing the same air as me as my heels clicked along the concrete path. They were all moving for me for one simple reason: I was the girlfriend of the most feared mob boss in all of London, Tom Holland. Our romance had started two years ago, when I had been at his club dancing. He had started to dance with me, and, well...I had rejected him. I knew who he was, and I knew that you didn't reject him unless you wanted to have your life ended. But I also knew my worth, so whilst he was attractive and I was more than happy to be taken home by him, I was going to make him work for that. So, that was exactly what I had done, and two years later, we were still happily together. Dating such a powerful man had its material perks, today manifesting in the form of the designer bag that was on my arm and the designer shoes that were walking me home. But the perks weren't just material. Tom and I were an attractive couple, meaning that most of the time, both of us got hit on at his clubs. And when I got hit on, Tom made sure that the guy was dead by the end of the night. Whilst of course I didn't like being hit on and being sexually harassed, I did love it when my mob boss boyfriend got all protective and possessive over me, and I doubted that that would ever change. I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard my phone start to ring. I dug it out of my bag, my heart fluttering and a smile curling onto my lips as it showed Tom's smiling face and number. I clicked the green button before holding the phone to my ear.

"Hey, Tommy." I picked it up.

"Hey, sweetheart, I'm just wondering how long you'll be out for. I want to be at the club by ten tonight, and I know how long you can take to get ready sometimes, so I want to make sure that you'll be home in time." He chuckled, making me playfully roll my eyes and smile to myself.

"I promise that I will be, Tommy, I'll be back in an hour, tops." I nodded.

"Good, love. You know how I hate to be disappointed, even by you." He teased.

"Um, excuse me, Thomas Stanley Holland, when have you ever been disappointed by me?" I scoffed as I continued to walk.

"That day has yet to come, and I'm sure that it never will, darling." He continued to flirt, making me smirk and bite my lip. Suddenly, I looked ahead and saw a man headed straight for me, a smirk on his lips as he stared at me. My eyebrows furrowed, my mind trying to figure out if he knew who I was or if he was trying to get himself killed.

"Hey. You're Y/N, right? Holland's girl?" He smirked as he got to me.

"Yeah, yeah, I am." I nodded as I lowered the phone from my ear.

"Can I have your number? You're just so beautiful." He chuckled and shook his head. My eyes widened, a scoff leaving my lips at this guy's fucking cheek as I looked behind me before turning back to him.

"Sorry, are you still talking to me?" I checked sarcastically.

"Of course I am, silly, who else would I be talking to?" He smiled and took a step forward, making me take one back in return.

"Sorry, no, I just wanted to check if I was just being a bit arrogant and thinking that you were chatting me up when you were actually talking to someone else, or if you're genuinely stupid enough to stop the girlfriend of London's most dangerous man in the street to flirt with her." I nodded and smiled sarcastically.

"Come on, baby, I'm just asking for your number. I'm a nice guy, give me a chance, I'm sure that your oh-so-dangerous boyfriend won't mind." He chuckled, making me raise my eyebrows as he said the last bit mockingly.

"Go fuck yourself." I nodded before barging past him and continuing to walk.

"Oh come on, love! At least smile!" He yelled after me, making me roll my eyes as I held the phone back to my ear.

"Tommy, you still there?" I asked.

"Yeah I am, sweetheart, what the fuck was that?" He scoffed.

"I'm going to need to rant, so I'll tell you when I get home." I mumbled, making him chuckle.

"Okay, darling, I'll see you soon. I love you." He spoke.

"I love you too." I nodded to myself before hanging up.

"Fucking asshole, walking up to me like that's okay, no fucking respect, fucking just my luck." I grumbled to myself as I rushed into mine and Tom's bedroom. Tom stood at the full-length mirror, checking out his suit and looking at me through the reflective glass as I grumbled and ranted to myself.

"You okay there, love?" He asked quietly.

"You know what I'd love, Tommy? I'd love a button that, if I pushed it, would just kill every man on the planet, except for you of course, I'd push that shit instantly-."

"Tell me what happened when you were on the phone." He chuckled as he turned to look at me. I scoffed and shook my head, my blood still boiling as I paced our bedroom floor.

"The fucking cheek-I was walking along, obviously on my phone and having a conversation when I clocked this guy walking towards me with this gross smirk on his face. He got to me and acknowledged, Tommy, he acknowledged that he knew who I was and that I was with you. And then he asked for my number, like he hadn't just called me your girl." I nodded.

"Wow. That's a dickhead move." He scoffed.

"Yeah, it was. And then he had the nerve to call himself a nice guy and tell me to smile when I walked away. Fucking asshole." I shook my head. Tom sighed and nodded as he curled his arms around my waist, making me look at him as I rested my hands against his chest.

"The main thing is, are you okay?" He asked. I returned his sigh.

"I'm fine, yeah, just angry, you know? Too many fucking guys on this planet think that it's okay to just walk up to a woman and demand her phone number whilst being condescending and a dick, and then it's us to get blamed for not giving the supposedly nice guy a chance." I mumbled.

"I know, sweetheart, and you're right that it's so fucked up that that's the case. But he was just some dickhead in the street who you'll probably never see again. You have every right to be angry, but try not to let it ruin our night out for you, yeah?" He encouraged, making me sigh again as he raised his hand and gently tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You're right, I'm not about to let some disrespectful cunt ruin my night out with the man that I actually love." I nodded.

"That's my girl." He smiled, making me return it as he leant down and kissed me. I returned it, my hands still on his chest as one of his hands cupped my cheek. He broke the kiss and looked at me.

"Go on, darling, we need to leave in an hour, so you better start getting ready. Remember that I'll have to punish you if you're not ready in time." He flirted.

"Maybe I won't get ready in time, then." I returned, making him smirk and shake his head as I moved out of his arms and started to get ready.

I stood on the dance floor of Tom's most popular club, swinging my hips, and having the time of my life as I danced. It was past midnight and we'd come here a couple of hours ago, partly for pleasure but also so that Tom could finish some business that he needed to attend to. Hence why I was currently dancing alone and waiting for my boyfriend to rejoin me any second. My eyes shot open as I felt a pair of hands grip my hips, though I immediately recognised them as being too small to be Tom's. I looked over my shoulder and my eyes widened at what I saw.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me." I spat as I pushed the man who had flirted with me earlier off of me.

"What's the problem, babe? I just want a dance." He smirked as he moved closer to me again, but I immediately moved back.

"In case me blatantly rejecting you earlier wasn't enough of a fucking hint, I am not interested." I scoffed and shook my head.

"It's alright, love, you don't have to pretend with me that you're actually with that Holland guy for him and not his money." He continued to smirk. My eyes widened, my blood fucking boiling in my veins at how rude and disrespectful this guy was being.

"I'm with my boyfriend for him, asshole, and even if I wasn't, you're too slimy, misogynistic and disgusting for me to ever go for you anyway. If I even see you once more, I'll have you fucking shot." I nodded before turning to walk away. My eyes widened, a yelp leaving my lips as instead of letting me walk away, the guy grabbed me and pulled me back into his arms so that my back was against his chest.

"You can do one dance, bitch, I'm not asking for a lot." he spat, making my eyes widen as he leant down and started to forcefully kiss my neck.

"Yes, you are." I looked ahead and sighed in relief as I saw Tom and a couple of his bodyguards pushing through the crowd to get to us.

"Tommy, thank god." I choked as I pushed out of the guy's arms and ran into Tom's instead.

"That's him, that's the guy who stopped me in the street, and obviously he came back for more." I nodded. Tom's eyes widened, anger filling them as he looked at the man.

"Grab him." He demanded, making the guy's eyes widen as Tom's guards surged forwards.

"No, please, no, she came onto me, get the fuck off of me." He spat as he was grabbed and started to be hauled out of the crowd.

"Come on, love. Let's go and sort out this piece of shit." Tom mumbled as he took my hand and we started to leave the dance floor. We pushed through the club, Tom leading me into the quieter back as we headed for the back door. He pushed it open, the sounds of groans and whimpers being heard as we walked out into the alleyway to see Tom's men already beating the shit out of the man.

"Stop." Tom demanded, making the man gulp and look up at us like a deer in headlights as the men stepped away from him. My boyfriend nodded and stuck his hands in his trouser pockets as he looked at the already beaten-up guy.

"What's your name?" Tom asked.

"T-Toby-."

"Well, Toby, from what I understand, this whole thing with you started earlier today, when you harassed my girlfriend in the street." Tom nodded as he started to pace the concrete in front of the knelt down man.

"N-no-."

"And then, I've just seen with my own eyes, you try to dance with my girlfriend, be rejected and so force her back to you instead of being a man and taking a 'no' with grace and respect. Instead, you chose to be a waste of life by sexually assaulting her." Tom spat. I simply stood back and watched, my hand placed on my hip as I happily watched Tom tear this guy's story apart before tearing him apart. After all, I did love when he got protective over me.

"N-no, that's not what happened! She's lying-."

"Oh, I think that I need my hearing checked, because I know that you didn't just call my girlfriend a fucking liar." He snapped.

"P-please, I'm sorry, I'll never do it again, I swear-."

"No, you won't, Toby. Any last words?" Tom asked, making his eyes widen as my boyfriend raised his gun to point at the man's temple before cocking it.

"No, please!" Tom fired the gun, the man's head flying back and his body collapsing against the concrete as the bullet went straight through the space in between his eyes.

"Fucking asshole." I mumbled and shook my head, making Tom sigh and nod as he put his gun back into the holster.

"You okay, love? I'm sorry that he got the chance, I came as soon as I saw what was going on." He promised as he curled his arms around my waist.

"I'm fine, Tommy, and it's okay. It was his choice to be an asshole, but you stepped in when you noticed. That's what matters." I reassured.

"Okay." He smiled, making me return it as he leant in and gently kissed me. I kissed back, my eyes fluttering shut and my hands raising to cup his face as we kissed. He broke it, making me smile as he pecked my lips once more before opening the door.

"By the way, I love it when you're protective." I chuckled and shook my head.

"Oh, I know, sweetheart. I'm fully expecting to get pounced on the second that we get home." He nodded, making me laugh and shake my head as we headed back into the club.
