The Spider-Man kiss (Peter Parker)

This one isn't a request, I saw someone comment this on my "The Avenger's Daughter" book and I basically thought that it was a really good idea for a one-shot, so here we are. Shout-out to hmejia7145 for making the comment and therefore giving me the idea :)

I stood at my locker, my hand holding the door open as I rummaged through it.

"Hey, Y/N." I looked to my side and smiled as my best friend and crush, Peter, walked towards me.

"Hey, Pete." I chuckled.

"You want to hang out after school? I bought the new "Star Wars" movie, so we could watch that." He tempted me as he leant against the locker next to mine with his hands in his jean pockets.

"Rain check? I'd love to but I need to run a few errands for my dad." I nodded.

"Sure, we can do it another time. I'm still curious as to why I've never met your dad, though." He chuckled. My eyes widened slightly, my breath hitching as I looked at him. The truth was that I was Y/N Stark, daughter of billionaire and head Avenger, Tony Stark. I went by Y/N Jones at school, meaning that no one, not even my best friend of five years, knew who I really was. It got harder to conceal with every time that he asked, especially given that at times, I suspected that he liked me back and so I would have to tell him the truth should we ever get into a relationship. That was a problem for future me, though.

"Y-yeah, he's a busy man." I chuckled nervously in response as I tried to bluff my way out of the question.

"I'm sure. Anyway, I better get going. Maybe tomorrow for the movie?" He asked.

"Sure, Pete, sounds amazing." I smiled. He returned it and bit his lip as he looked down. I walked past him, trying desperately not to blush at how the boy made me feel as I passed him and headed out of school.

I walked along the street, my hand loosely grasping the strap of my bag as I walked along. I turned down the alleyway as a route to get to Happy's car quicker. I looked up, my eyes widening and my heart stopping as a rough-looking man strolled towards me with a gruesome smirk on his face. I gave him a tight smile and looked down, my heart pounding as I tried to pass him without him trying anything. It didn't work. As I passed him, he grabbed the strap of my bag, making me yelp out as he tried to tug it out of my grasp.

"STOP! HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" I screamed.

"Shut the fuck up, bitch." He spat before punching me in the face. I groaned and fell down, allowing the man to grab my bag and start running.

"HELP! SOMEONE STOP THAT MAN!" I yelled as he sprinted towards the end of the alleyway. Just before he got out, Spider-Man suddenly dropped down in front of the man, making my eyes widen as the man stopped in his tracks.

"The bag is cute, dude, but it doesn't match your outfit." He teased before extending his arm. The superhero fired a web at my bag and pulled it out of his grasp, making the man growl as he ran at him.

"Ooh, bad idea." Spider-Man chuckled as he leant his body to the side and easily dodged the thug. He ran out into the street, only to be stopped when Spider-Man attached a web to his back and pulled him back. He groaned as the masked hero threw him against the wall, knocking the man out instantly. I puffed out, letting go of the breath that I didn't realise that I was holding as Spider-Man walked towards me. I gulped and looked up at him. He extended his hand to me, making me give him a thankful smile as I placed my considerably smaller hand into his and let him pull me to my feet.

"I believe that this is yours." He chuckled, his white eyes looking at me as he gave me my bag back.

"Yeah...thank you, my dad would kill me if I had my bag stolen." I smiled.

"I'm sure that he would. Bags must be looked after." He nodded. I returned it and just looked at him. Being Tony Stark's daughter, I often saw the other Avengers around the Tower. But my dad always made it clear that I wasn't allowed in the control room or around them when they planned missions, and so I was forced to admire Spider-Man from afar, meaning that he also didn't know me and so didn't recognise me as his boss' daughter. But boy, did I admire him. I'd always watch from a distance as everyone trained, Spider-Man's muscles and body flexing perfectly in the spandex suit that beautifully hugged the man's toned physique. Knowing my luck of course, he'd probably turn out to be some thirty-year-old man, but that didn't stop me from having a crush on him.

"You okay?" The hero spoke, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay, I just...thank you from stopping that asshole from getting away with my bag." I smiled.

"Any time. It's part of the job." He chuckled before raising his arm. He fired a web up, making my eyes widen.

"Wait-." He shot into the air and disappeared, making me sigh and close my eyes. Well, that was my chance gone. I opened my eyes again, biting my lip as I turned around and started to walk.

"Wait for what?" My eyes widened and I stopped in my place. I looked over my shoulder, my heart jumping as Spider-Man was hanging upside down in his famous pose where his feet were joined together against his web. I turned fully around to look at him.

"For me to thank you." I stated as I walked towards him. His white eyes squinted.

"But you already thanked me." He chuckled. I bit my lip, my heart starting to pound in my chest. This would either go very well, or very, very badly.

"Not properly." I spoke quietly, my head shaking as I got to him. The hero's eyes squinted again, telling me that he was confused. I bit my lip, our faces only an inch apart as I raised my hands. His white eyes widened, but he let me continue as I gently started to pull his mask out from his neck. I pulled the mask down to reveal an extremely chiselled jaw, the small exposure of his face already making me weak at the knees. I pulled the mask down, my eyes falling on his thin lips as I pulled the mask to his nose before stopping. I gulped, my heart pounding in my chest as my gaze flicked between his white eyes and his lips.

"It's okay. You can kiss me." The hero spoke quietly. I bit my lip and raised my hands to gently cup his face. Here goes nothing, Y/N, I thought as I leant in and pressed our lips together. He returned the kiss immediately, his incredibly soft lips pressing against mine. I smiled into it, making him smirk as I curled my hands around to the back of his neck and pulled him closer. I gently tugged on the hero's hazel curls, his tongue slipping into my mouth as we started to make out. I broke the kiss and hovered my lips over his, my eyes fluttering open. The hero smiled at me, making me chuckle and bite my lip.

"I better carry on saving people, but, um...what's your name? I want to see you again." He spoke gently. My eyes widened slightly and I tried not to squeal. Spider-Man was asking to see me again. This motherfucking ripped-as-shit hero wanted to see me again.

"My name is Y/N Jones. And I'd love to see you again too." I nodded. He returned it and bit his lip.

"Okay then, Y/N Jones. I'll see you around." He chuckled.

"See you around, Spider-Man." I whispered before pulling his mask back up his face and into the neck of his suit. He leant forward again and pecked my lips again through his mask, making me smile as I took a step back. I watched him, my lip in between my teeth as he used the web he was hanging from to pull himself back up. I sighed, my heart fluttering at what had just happened. I was in trouble.

Peter's P.O.V

"What's up, Mr Stark?" Peter smiled, a shit-eating grin on his face as he strolled into Tony's control room. The man looked at him, his eyebrows furrowed.

"What are you so happy about?" Tony chuckled.

"Well, you know my best friend?" Peter asked as he leant against the table with his arms crossed under his chest.

"I know that you have a best friend, yes." Tony nodded.

"I saved her from getting robbed today. And so, she kissed me." He admitted. Tony looked at him.

"You got kissed? Well done, kid." He chuckled.

"It was amazing, Mr Stark. She was incredible at kissing too. God, I like her so much, and I can't believe that she was the one who kissed me." He shook his head.

"Pete, I hate to break it to you, but she kissed Spider-Man, not you. She doesn't know that she kissed you." He chuckled.

"I'll take it. I still got a kiss." He smiled.

"Good on you, kid. What did you say her name was again?" Tony mumbled as he raised his glass of water to his lips.

"I didn't. But her name is Y/N Jones-." Tony choked on his water, making Peter's eyes widen.

"Mr Stark, are you okay?" He scoffed. Tony looked at him with a hard-as-stone expression, making Peter gulp. What the fuck had happened?

"Mr Stark, what's wrong-."

"Peter, put your mask back on. FRIDAY, ask my daughter to come down here." Tony demanded. Peter's eyes widened and he stood up straight.

"Why are you bringing your daughter down-."

"Peter, put your fucking mask on." Tony nodded. The boy gulped, his mind trying to figure out what was going on as he pulled his mask back on and tucked it into his neck.

"You wanted to see me, dad?" Peter's eyes widened as he heard the familiar voice. He looked over his shoulder, his eyes widening further. Stood at the doorway of the control room, was Y/N. His best friend. And apparently his boss' daughter. He turned around to fully face her.

"Oh, shit." He mumbled.

Y/N's P.O.V

I sat on my bed, doing homework and thinking about the kiss that I'd shared earlier with Spider-Man. It had been absolutely amazing, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want to do more with the masked hero.

"Y/N, your dad would like to see you in the control room." FRIDAY spoke over the intercom. My eyebrows furrowed and I looked up at the speaker.

"What? He never lets me in the control room." I scoffed.

"He wants to see you, Y/N." She insisted. I sighed, my mind wondering why he was wanting to see me as I stood from my bed. I headed out of my room and got into the elevator, my lip in between my teeth. What could he possibly want me in there for? I'd spent the last five years being told that I'd only ever enter the control room on pain of death, so it was a full one-eighty turn-around for my dad to now want me down there. The elevator pinged and the doors opened, allowing me to step out into the control room. My eyebrows furrowed and my heart started to speed up as Spider-Man was standing there with his back turned to me. I wasn't surprised that he was here, but why was my dad asking me to be here at the same time?

"You wanted to see me, dad?" I asked slowly, making them both look at me. Spider-Man looked at me over his shoulder, his eyes widening as he saw me.

"Oh, shit." He mumbled quietly. I gulped, my heart pounding as I tried to figure out if my dad knew about the kiss.

"Yeah, I did. Good ole Spidey-Boy told me about your...encounter." He nodded. I sighed and closed my eyes. That answered that question. I looked at Spider-Man as the hero crossed his arms over his chest and rubbed over his eyes with one of his hands.

"Dad, come on-."

"Since you two clearly want to get to know each other more...intimately, I figured that I'd let you see what was under the mask." He nodded. Spider-Man's head shot up and his white eyes widened.

"Mr Stark, is that a good idea?" the hero gulped.

"I think it's an amazing idea. Spider-Man." my dad nodded. He sighed and looked at me timidly as he stood up straight.

"Fine. I guess that this is happening." He mumbled before looking down. I kept my gaze on him, my eyes squinting as he pulled the mask out from his neck. He grabbed the back of his mask and pulled, making my eyes widen as I was confronted with a mop of unruly hazel curls. I may not have seen his face yet, but I'd recognise those curls anywhere. I choked, my eyes widening as Peter looked up at me timidly. My eyes wavered, a tear leaving my eye as we looked at each other.

"You're...you're Spider-Man." I whispered.

"And you're a Stark." He nodded, his voice equally as quiet. I bit my lip, tears rolling down my face as I held my hands to my head. How the fuck had this happened? My best friend and crush had known my dad all along, I had kissed him, and never once did I know that it was him.

"Dad, why did you do this?" I choked and shook my head.

"Because it's clear that you like each other." He stated. My eyes widened, as did Peter's as we looked at each other.

"What?" We both gulped.

"Listen, kids. You've both been lying to each other for years. Y/N, you were lying about who you were, and Peter, you were lying about being a superhero. But I also know that you guys really like each other. I've sat with you, Y/N, listening to you rant about how your best friend doesn't see your real feelings for him. And Peter, I've listened to you rant about how amazing this girl is and how much you just want to kiss her, which is now super gross considering that I know who she is, but that's not the point. I've done the easy bit for you guys, I've brought you together. Now you need to talk it out." he nodded. I sighed and bit my lip as I looked at Peter, him returning the glance.

"Thanks, Mr Stark." He nodded.

"It's alright, kid. Talk it out. Also, lock the door if you're going to do anything." He teased, making my eyes widen as he headed towards the elevator.

"DAD?!" I exclaimed. He chuckled and shook his head as he got into the elevator and it moved up, leaving Peter and I alone. I sighed and looked at him.

"So, where do we even start?" I gulped, nervously crossing my arms over my chest as I walked towards Peter. He sighed and looked at me timidly as he gripped the table that he was leaning against on either side of his thighs.

"For starters, I'm sorry that I lied to you. I haven't told anyone, everyone who knows found out accidentally. I didn't tell you to keep you safe." He nodded.

"I'm sorry that I lied to you too. But I'm a Stark, so I'm sure that you get why I had to lie." I sighed.

"Yeah, I do. I get it." He reassured. I gulped and bit my lip.

"So, um...why did it take you kissing me as Spider-Man for us to get here?" He asked. I sighed and looked down.

"Pete, I had no idea that you felt the same. And we've been friends for years, I didn't want to jeopardise that on the off-chance that you may have liked me back." I mumbled. He looked up at me.

"I get that. You're right, fuck, I never showed you any signs that I liked you more than a friend because I was scared of the same thing happening. I didn't know if you liked me back, so I didn't want to put myself out there just for you to reject me." He explained. I sighed and bit my lip.

"So, where do we go from here? Because I really fucking like you. And that kiss was amazing." I stated, making Peter laugh and nod as his hands gently curled around my waist to pull me into his body.

"Yeah, it was." He agreed before looking up at me.

"How about I take you out? I'll take you somewhere real nice, where we can be alone." He nodded. I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Slow down, Parker, I don't know what you think we'll be doing on the first date." I teased.

"You're the one who kissed me just for saving you." He retorted, making me laugh and shake my head as he looked at me. He smiled and bit his lip, his gaze on my lips as his hands soothingly massaged my waist.

"But, yeah. I'd love to go out with you, Pete. I don't mind where, anywhere with you will be perfect." I nodded.

"I feel the same way, angel." He responded quietly. I smiled and bit my lip as I leant down and gently kissed him. He returned the kiss, his spandex-covered hand cupping my cheek and pulling me closer as he deepened the kiss.

"Please remember that there are cameras in there!" My dad's voice sounded over the intercom, making me groan as I broke the kiss and looked up.

"Fuck off, dad!" I yelled, making Peter laugh as I looked back at him.

"Maybe your apartment is a better location for more...intimate stuff." I nodded.

"Agreed." He smirked, making me return it as I leant down and kissed him again.
