The everyday affair (Peter Parker)
Requested by jeannhollandx: Y/N gets saved by Spider-Man and she ends up rewarding him with a Spider-Man kiss. It starts to become a thing that happens often. One day, Spider-Man goes to kiss her and she tells him no because she's in love with somebody else and she can't do this anymore. She explains that she's madly in love with her friend Peter Parker.
I walked along the street, my bag slung casually over my shoulder as I started to walk home from school.
"Hey, Y/N!" I turned around, my heart leaping as Peter, my best friend and crush jogged towards me.
"Hey, Pete." I chuckled.
"You tried to sneak out of school without saying goodbye, I'm offended." He joked as he held his hand to his chest in fake offence.
"I thought that you had your extracurricular activities." I teased. He chuckled and looked down before timidly looking back at me.
"I do. But I just figured that I'd catch up with you and say goodbye before I went." He shrugged. I smiled and bit my lip as I looked at him. Peter and I had been friends for years, but I'd always wanted more. He had always been so kind and compassionate, but then he'd hit puberty. He's gone from being a kind and compassionate nerd, to being a kind and compassionate nerd who was now also extremely attractive and ripped. His transformation hadn't helped my crush on him, and so here I was, crushing on my best friend. What a fucking cliche.
"Well, thanks for checking on me, Pete. I appreciate it. I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" I asked hopefully.
"Of course. See you then." He smiled, making me return it and bite my lip as I turned and continued walking.
I yawned, my eyes growing tired as I kept walking. I turned down an alleyway, my boots clicking against the ground as I walked. I looked up, my eyes widening slightly as a sleazy-looking guy walked into the alleyway, a smirk on his lips as he walked towards me. I gulped and looked down as I hoped that just passing him would work. Don't pay him notice, I thought as I walked past him. Suddenly, he grabbed my bag, making my eyes widen.
"Hey! Get off! Give it back!" I yelled as I pulled back, both of our hands yanking at my bag. He punched me in the face, making me cry out and let go of my bag as I fell to the ground. I looked up, my eyes widening as he ran away with my bag.
"Someone stop him, please!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Suddenly, Spider-Man dropped down at the end of the alleyway, making my eyes widen as the man stopped in his tracks.
"I don't think that that's your bag, dude." Spider-Man shook his head before firing a web at the bag. He yanked it out of the man's hand before jumping over him. He kicked him out of the alleyway, making him groan as he stumbled back. Suddenly, the man pulled out a gun, making my eyes widen.
"Uh oh." The hero gulped as the man started to fire at him. I screamed and ducked down, my shaking hands covering my head as Spider-Man leaped from wall to wall. The bullets ran out, making the man gulp as Spider-Man turned himself upside down and turned to face him.
"My turn now." He nodded before punching the man square in the face. He fell down, his eyes closing as the hero had knocked him unconscious. I gulped, my heart pounding and my eyes wide as Spider-Man turned around on the web attached to his feet to look at me.
"Are you okay?" He asked quietly, his body still hanging upside down. I gulped again and nodded as I stood up on shaky legs.
"Y-yeah, I'm okay. Thank you so much, my parents would kill me if my bag got stolen." I chuckled nervously as I walked towards him.
"Any time. It's all part of the job." He nodded. I bit my lip as I looked at him. I wasn't sure why, but something was really intriguing me about the masked hero. He had always been my favourite Avenger, and something about being face to face with him was only making those feelings stronger.
"How can I thank you?" I asked.
"No need to thank me, miss." He chuckled.
"I want to, though." I nodded, making the hero squint his white eyes at me. My eyes widened slightly, my heart starting to pound as I got an idea.
"I know how to thank you." I stated. He looked at me.
"Oh, yeah?" He chuckled. I nodded and bit my lip before slowly raising my hands to where his suit and mask met. The hero's eyes widened but he didn't stop me as I started to untuck his mask from his neck. I pulled it down to reveal a chiselled jawline, making me gulp at the sight of it. I pulled the mask further down, stopping the fabric just after his set of thin lips. My eyebrows furrowed slightly. I recognised the lips from somewhere, but I couldn't figure out where from. Not that it mattered right now. I looked down at his white eyes and gulped.
"Is this okay?" I whispered. The hero looked at me and slowly nodded, making me return it as I took his face into my hands. I leant in and gently pressed our lips together, my eyes fluttering shut as he kissed back. I couldn't help but smile into it, making him smirk as he deepened the kiss and slid his tongue into my mouth. I broke the kiss, my eyes fluttering open as I hovered my lips over his. He leant forward and joined our lips again, making me laugh as I pulled away.
"Don't try to get more than I'm willing to give you, Spidey." I teased, making him laugh.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. That was the best kiss that I've ever had." He admitted. I smiled and bit my lip.
"I'm glad, considering that that was my way of thanking you." I nodded.
"Well, it's the best thanks that I've ever had." He continued to flirt. I smirked and looked down, a blush on my cheeks at the hero's words.
"I better go, my mom will be worried about me. But thank you for saving me." I nodded as I looked back up at him.
"Thank you for your thank you." He returned, making me laugh and shake my head as I picked my bag up.
"I'll see you around, Spidey." I nodded, giving the hero one last smile before turning to head back out of the alleyway.
~One month later~
I walked down the alleyway, my bag slung over my shoulder as I walked down the narrow walkway. I gulped and bit my lip, my eyes wandering as I waited for Spider-Man. Apparently neither of us could get over that kiss, because since he'd saved me from being mugged on that day a month ago and I'd kissed him as a way to thank him, we'd both been back to the same alleyway every day for another kiss. I loved it, and didn't want it to stop, but after a few times, I had started to feel guilty. Guilty because I was still desperately in love with Peter. And so as much as I loved kissing Spider-Man, today I was going to tell him that our little affair was over. My eyes wavered as I heard a sound behind me. I turned around and gave Spider-Man a small smile as he hung upside down behind me.
"Hey." He spoke, making me bite my lip as I started to pull his mask down to his lips like I always did.
"You okay, Spidey?" I teased, making him chuckle and bite his lip.
"I'm great now that you're here." he smiled before leaning in and kissing me. I returned it, my eyes fluttering shut as I held his face. But then I remembered why I was here. I broke the kiss, my hand raising to go in between mine and Spider-Man's lips as he leant forward to reignite the kiss. His eyes widened slightly as I did that.
"What's wrong, babe?" He mumbled. I gulped, my heart pounding in my chest as I looked at him.
"I'm sorry. But I can't do this anymore." I choked and shook my head. His eyes widened further.
"What? Why not? I thought that what we had was good." He gulped.
"It is, I love it, but...fuck, the truth is that I'm desperately in love with my best friend, Peter Parker. At first, I loved kissing you, and it was a way to distract myself from the fact that he probably doesn't feel the same, but I can't keep just kissing my friendly neighbourhood hero to try and forget about him. He's the only thing that I think about, so I can't keep doing this to him. I'm sorry." I choked and shook my head. The hero stared at me with wide eyes, his mouth hanging slightly open as he just looked at me. Suddenly, he leant up, making my eyebrows furrow and making me take a step back as he broke the web that was holding him up. He jumped down, his feet landing against the ground. I gulped again, my heart pounding out of my chest as he looked at me.
"Promise that you won't freak out." He shook his head. My eyebrows furrowed.
"Why would I freak out?" I gulped. He returned it and looked down before his hand raised to his mask. My eyes widened slightly as the hero started to pull the fabric off of his head. The mask came away, making my breath hitch in my throat as I immediately recognised the mop of hazel curls. Peter looked up at me timidly, making me choke and shake my head.
"Y/N-."
"Oh my god, you're Spider-Man." I choked.
"I'm sorry-."
"I've been kissing you for a month and you didn't say anything." I shook my head, tears starting to leave my eyes as I took a step back.
"Please, let me explain-."
"I just told you that I'm in love with you without realising that it was you-."
"Please, listen to me." He gulped as he rushed to me and took my face into his hands. I choked and looked up at him.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He gulped and shook his head.
"Not as sorry as I am. Fuck, I feel so embarrassed." I cried.
"Please don't feel that way. Because I like you too." He admitted. My eyes widened at his words.
"What?" I choked.
"Yeah, Y/N. I'm in love with you too. I wouldn't have spent the last month kissing you if I didn't at least like you. But no, I'm past that. I'm in love with you." He nodded. I bit my lip, my mind desperately trying to comprehend the fact that the love of my life...loved me back.
"Prove it." I gulped. He chuckled and bit his lip before leaning in and kissing me. I returned it immediately, my eyes fluttering shut as I held his face and his hands moved to my waist. I broke the kiss and joined our foreheads, my eyes opening again to look at him.
"That enough proof, babe?" He whispered. I nodded and bit my lip, making him smile as he leant down to kiss me again.
