Tom's P.O.V

"Kieran, you're doing great!" Tom exclaimed, his fingers smashing the buttons of the game console as him and Kieran played 'Mario Kart'.

"I'm beating you so hard!" The boy laughed, making Tom chuckle and shake his head as the boys played the game.

"I thought that I said you'd had enough screen time today, Kieran." Y/N sighed teasingly as she walked into the living room.

"Sorry, love, that's my bad, I said that we could play a quick game." Tom smiled sheepishly. She chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes at him, his arm curling around her waist as she put her arm around his shoulder and sat on the arm of the sofa. Tom and Y/N had been dating for three years now, and it had never stopped being perfect. Tom had asked Y/N and Kieran to move in with him after two years and so now they were starting to think about marriage and their future together. What Y/N didn't know, however, was that he had already picked out a ring, and was in the process of planning the perfect proposal. Things were going to be amazing.

"You off now, darling?" Tom asked as he looked up at the love of his life.

"Yeah, I won't be long, though. Kieran, you're going to be good for daddy, yeah?" She checked, making Tom chuckle and bite his lip as he looked at the boy who was still playing the game. He absolutely loved the fact that Kieran called him "daddy" and that Y/N also referred to him as the boy's dad. After all, it made him feel infinitely closer to the pair.

"Yeah." He giggled and nodded.

"Okay, then. See you guys later. Feed him some veg, yeah?" Y/N chuckled as she leant down and pecked his lips.

"Sweetheart, I know how to look after him." He teased, making her playfully roll her eyes as she stood back up straight and grabbed her bag.

"I'll see you later. Love you both." She spoke, leaning down and kissing Kieran's head as she passed.

"Love you, mummy!" Kieran called after her.

"Bye, love!" Tom yelled too, his heart starting to thump as he heard the door shut. Time to put this plan into motion, he thought as he looked at Kieran.

"Hey, Keiran, come here." He nodded, making Kieran stand from the floor and sit on the sofa next to him. Tom bit his lip and looked at the boy.

"You know what marriage is, yeah? Do you know what a proposal is?" He asked, Kieran shaking his head in response.

"A proposal is what someone does to ask their partner to marry them. Now, I want to propose to mummy, and I need your help." He admitted. Kieran's eyes widened.

"You're marrying mummy?! That's so cool!" The boy laughed, making Tom return it and look at the kid who he felt nothing but love for.

"If she says yes, then yeah, we'll get married. But I need your help to ask your mummy. We're going to make a little project together. How does that sound?" He asked.

"That sounds awesome." Kieran giggled.

"It does, doesn't it? Here's what I'm thinking." Tom nodded as he lifted Kieran onto his lap before putting his arms over the boy's shoulders to start drawing on the piece of paper in front of him what he was planning.

Y/N's P.O.V

I stood in the bathroom, tears pricking my eyes as I stared down at the positive pregnancy test. I couldn't help but smile and bite my lip, my heart full of love at the idea that Tom and I were going to be having a baby together. Ever since Tom had asked Kieran and I to move into his house a year ago, I had been thinking about where our relationship would progress to next. More specifically, I had started to think about being married to him and us having our own children together. Now, it was finally time to expand our family. I put the pregnancy test into the drawer, my mind racing as I tried to figure out how I wanted to tell Tom. I headed down the stairs to hear the sound of video games coming from the living room.

"I thought that I said you'd had enough screen time today, Kieran." I sighed teasingly as I walked into the living room.

"Sorry, love, that's my bad, I said that we could play a quick game." Tom smiled sheepishly. I chuckled and playfully rolled my eyes at him, his arm curling around my waist as I put my arm around his shoulder and sat on the arm of the sofa.

"You off now, darling?" Tom asked as he looked up at me.

"Yeah, I won't be long, though. Kieran, you're going to be good for daddy, yeah?" I checked, making Tom chuckle and bite his lip as he looked at Kieran.

"Yeah." He giggled and nodded.

"Okay, then. See you guys later. Feed him some veg, yeah?" I chuckled as I leant down and pecked his lips.

"Sweetheart, I know how to look after him." He teased, making me playfully roll my eyes as I stood back up straight and grabbed my bag.

"I'll see you later. Love you both." I spoke, leaning down and kissing Kieran's head as I passed.

"Love you, mummy!" Kieran called after me.

"Bye, love!" Tom yelled too, my smile plastered onto my face in love for my boys as I left the house.

"I'm home!" I yelled, my arm carefully holding the cake box as I shut the front door.

"Mummy!" I looked down the hall and allowed a massive smile to curl onto my face as Kieran ran towards me.

"Hey, babe. You had a good day with daddy?" I chuckled as he hugged my legs, my hand landing against his hair as he hugged me.

"So good! We made something! Want to see?" he jumped up and down excitedly, making me chuckle again as I wondered what Tom had fed him to make him so hyper.

"Sure, honey." I nodded. He took my spare hand and pulled me through into the living room. I walked in, my eyebrows furrowing as the room was dark apart from a projector projecting what looked to be the start of a homemade movie onto the wall. Tom's laptop was connected to the projector, and yet I couldn't see Tom.

"Love, where's daddy?" I asked as I put the cake down onto the counter.

"He's busy. But he wanted me to show you this." he nodded as he took my hand and pulled me around to the sofa.

"Are you sure that he didn't tell us to wait, babe?" I double-checked. After all, it looked like Tom had put a lot of effort into whatever this was, and so I didn't want to accidentally start it without him if Kieran had gotten mixed up.

"Daddy told me to press 'play' when you got here. He said that I didn't have to wait for him." Kieran shrugged.

"Okay, Kier. But if daddy wanted to watch it and so gets upset, I'm throwing you straight under the bus." I teased, making him giggle as I gently tickled him. He leant back and pressed 'play' on the laptop, my arms pulling the boy onto my lap as the home movie started to play. I bit my lip, and watched contently as beautiful music started to play over videos of Tom, Kieran and I together. We laughed and played in the first video of us on the beach, smiles on our faces as Tom picked me up and carried me into the sea. I laughed and bit my lip, tears pricking my eyes as I watched the beautiful moments that we'd shared together over these last three years. Some of the clips were just of Tom and I, others had us laughing and also playing with Kieran, and I could see it on Tom's face in the videos just how much he loved my son. Our son. My eyebrows furrowed, the music starting to come to an end as the next clip started to roll. Confusion filled my head as the clip was of Kieran holding a sign that read "Will" on it. Confusion filled my head as he dropped the sign to reveal another one saying "you". My eyes widened, my heart stopping as he dropped it to reveal the next sign. "Marry". I choked and raised my now shaking hand to my face as the last sign read "daddy?", making the full thing "Will you marry daddy?".

"Baby, where's daddy?" I gulped, my heart almost pounding out of my chest as I realised that I was being proposed to.

"I'm right here, love." I looked to the doorway and choked as Tom stood there. I stood from the sofa, making him smile and bite his lip at me as he got down onto one knee in front of me.

"Tommy." I choked, making him laugh and nod as tears also pricked his eyes.

"We've been together for three years now, love, and they've easily been the best three years of my life. Being able to spend that time with you was amazing in itself, but then you came with a kid who has made my world so much more fun and incredible. I know that we've had struggles, I know that there have been hard times for us, but we've made it through, and I wouldn't change that for the world. I want to be your husband for the rest of our lives, and I want to be Kieran's dad for the rest of his life. So, Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N," he spoke, tears running down both of our faces as he opened the ring box to reveal an absolutely stunning engagement ring.

"Will you marry me?" he gulped.

"Yes, Tommy, yes! Of course I will!" I laughed and shook my head. He choked, his eyes wavering as he shot up. He tightly hugged me, my arms wrapping around his neck as his arms tightly held me by my waist. We cried into each other's hair, my heart so full of love for him as I just held him.

"Let's see if it fits." he nodded, making me return it as he pulled away but only enough to get the ring out of the box. I gave him my shaking hand, smiles on both of our lips as he gently pushed the ring onto my finger. I shook my head and bit my lip.

"It's perfect, Tommy. Absolutely perfect." I choked before taking his face into my hands and pressing our lips together. He returned it and smiled into it, his hands holding my waist as we kissed.

"Does that mean that you're going to marry each other?" We broke the kiss and looked down to see Kieran looking at us with big eyes.

"It does, baby." I nodded and smiled as Tom picked him up.

"Mummy and daddy are getting married, Kier." Tom smiled at him, making him return it. My eyes widened slightly, the excitement of him proposing almost making me forget about my announcement.

"Speaking of that, I actually have some news too." I smiled sheepishly. Tom looked at me, his eyebrows furrowing.

"What news?" he chuckled nervously. I bit my lip, my heart almost pounding out of my chest as I headed into the kitchen to grab the cake that I'd bought. I carefully carried it back to them, my fiance's eyebrows furrowing even more as he saw the pink box.

"What's this, love?" he asked. I gulped and opened it, Tom's eyes widening as his gaze skimmed over the cake that had the words "Congratulations on the baby!" iced onto it.

"No way...you're pregnant? We're having a baby?" he choked, his eyes wavering as tears immediately started to leave his eyes. I nodded and bit my lip at him.

"I have my first scan next week. We're having a baby." I smiled. He returned it, a laugh leaving his lips as he used his spare arm to pull me into his body and tightly hug me. I returned the hug, my arms wrapping around him and Kieran as we celebrated the two massive moments.

"This is amazing. Oh my god, I love you so much, darling." Tom choked into my hair.

"I love you too, Tommy. I can't wait to go on this journey with you and Kieran. It's going to be perfect." I nodded.

"That it is, sweetheart. That it is." he smiled before leaning down and kissing me.
