Jealous (Mob boss!AU, Tom Holland)
Requested by NaaraMartinez8: Can you do a mob boss Tom jealous?
"Fuck you, Tom." I spat as I rushed through the house, my husband following hot on my heels as he rushed after me.
"For Christ's sake, darling, stop this." he sighed as I stormed into our bedroom. My eyes widened and I turned around to look at him.
"Stop what, asshole? Stop wanting my husband to come away from his work for five minutes to spend even a moment with his wife? God fucking forbid that I want you to pretend for once that I'm not completely fucking invisible to you." I snapped.
"Of course you're not invisible to me, love! But you know that I have a lot of work to do, this is all important stuff." he scoffed. I returned the scoff and crossed my arms over my chest.
"So I'm not important to you now?" I nodded. His eyes widened.
"No! That's not what I meant-." I rolled my eyes and dropped my arms before opening my wardrobe and starting to grab my clubbing dresses.
"What are you doing now?" he sighed and rubbed a hand over his face.
"I'm going out. If you won't give me attention, I'll find it elsewhere." I shrugged, making his eyes widen. This was a dance that Tom and I had done many times before, and one that we'd no doubt do again in a week or so. Tom was the boss of the Holland mob, the most notorious and feared gang in London. I was his wife, and was therefore feared even more than he was. No one could so much as look at me without fear of death by Tom's hand. But recently, Tom had been a lot more busy than usual, and so had developed into this habit of not leaving his office for weeks on end. Which meant that I could go weeks on end without any kind of love or affection from him. And that wasn't how I liked it. I had gone into his office and had tried to pull him away from his work, only to have him completely ignore me. And now I'd had enough. So, my plan was to go to one of his clubs, let my hair down and hope that some guy would flirt with me and therefore make Tom jealous enough to finally step away from his work and spend some time with me.
"What the fuck did you just say?" he scoffed.
"If you won't give me attention, I'll find it elsewhere." I spat. He scoffed again and clenched his jaw.
"I'm only going to warn you once, sweetheart, so make fucking sure that you're listening. I don't care about you going out, as long as you're safe. But if I find out from one of my men that you've been dancing with another man, you've been flirting, you've been letting other guys buy you drinks, anything like that, there will be hell to pay." he spat. I returned his stone-cold look, making him clench his jaw as he looked down at me.
"I understand, Tommy. Doesn't mean that I won't do it." I mumbled and nodded. He scoffed and shook his head, making me roll my eyes as I grabbed one of the dresses that I'd picked before heading into the en-suite and slamming the door behind me.
I walked into Tom's club, my clutch in my hand and my other hand on my hip as I looked over the crowds of dancing people. That's one thing that I loved about my husband's clubs, they were always absolutely full. Including being full of his men, looking out to make sure that no one fought, anyone there who owed Tom money got seen to, and that I wouldn't end up going home with another man. Not that I'd ever do that to him. I headed to the bar and gave Jake a small smile as I sat down.
"Your usual, Mrs Holland?" he asked.
"Thanks, Jake." I nodded, making him give me a small smile as he started to make me a drink.
"Can I get that for you?" I looked to the side, a smirk curling onto my lips as I'd clearly already caught the attention of the attractive guy who was leaning against the bar. He was still nowhere near as attractive as Tom, though, of course.
"I don't pay for drinks here, my husband owns the club." I nodded. He laughed and returned the nod.
"Sure he does, babe. I'll get that, mate, and I'll have whatever she's having." the man nodded as he gave Jake a twenty-pound note. Jake tried not to laugh as he looked down and shook his head, making me smirk as his eyes flicked up to me.
"You're playing a dangerous game here, Y/N." he chuckled quietly as he placed my martini on the bar.
"Shush." I scolded before looking at the man who was now sitting next to me.
"So, what's your name, babe?" the man smirked. I forced myself to return it. This guy was getting less attractive the more that he talked, but Tom's men had no doubt clocked by now what was happening and so it would still work in my favour.
"Y/N, you?" I returned.
"Rhys. It's lovely to meet you." he continued to smirk as he raised my hand and kissed it. He stopped, his eyebrow raising as he saw my wedding and engagement rings.
"You're married? What's wrong with your husband for you to have come out alone?" he smiled.
"He's a dick." I nodded, making Jake snort and look down as he shook his head. I glared at him, making him mouth "sorry" to me as he almost blew my fun.
"Well, that's okay, because I'm not a dick, so I'm sure that you'll have more fun with me than you ever would with him." he continued to flirt. Not true.
"I'm sure that I will." I chuckled as I raised my drink to my lips, though I clocked Tom's men looking at me and talking as I continued to sit there with the man.
I stood in the crowd with Rhys, swinging my hips and dancing with him as I waited for Tom's inevitable arrival. I'd been very careful not to let Rhys touch more than my waist and back, after all this was just about making Tom jealous, not about cheating on him. Rhys had even tried to kiss me on a few occasions but I'd rejected him each time. I may have been needy but I wasn't needy enough to cheat on my husband.
"That's enough." As if on cue, my waist and wrist were grabbed, making me look up at Tom as he started to pull me out of the crowd.
"Fucking took you long enough." I spat as he pulled me to the bar. His eyes widened and he looked at me.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Were you only dancing with him like that to make me jealous?" he scoffed. My eyes wavered and I looked down, making him scoff again and shake his head as he threw his hands up in exacerbation.
"Unbelievable. We're going home. Now." he spat, making me roll my eyes as he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the club.
I leant against Tom's desk, my hands gripping the edges either side of my thighs as he paced the floor in front of him. Harrison and a few of Tom's men stood at the door, Harrison leaning against the wall as we all watched Tom to see what he'd do. I sighed and watched him with a tilted neck, his hand rubbing over his chin as he thought.
"So, no one saw her kissing anyone, flirting, anything like that?" Tom mumbled, making me roll my eyes.
"No, sir. As far as we're aware, she just let him buy her a drink and danced for a bit." one of his men nodded.
"Tommy, I said that I didn't cheat on you, so I didn't fucking cheat-."
"Okay but you also danced with another guy and let him buy you a drink. You don't even fucking pay for drinks, it's our club." he scoffed.
"I didn't go there to cheat, Thomas, and I didn't fucking cheat. I went there because you've been ignoring me for weeks and so funnily enough, I wanted to feel loved, fucking sue me if that's so bad." I spat. Tom looked at me, his stone-cold face dissolving into a softer one as my eyes wavered and I looked down.
"Everyone out." Tom demanded quietly, his eyes glued to me as he spoke.
"Boss." Harrison nodded as him and Tom's men filed out before shutting the door. I bit my lip, not daring to look up as tears pricked my eyes. Tom sighed and walked towards me, his eyes trying to catch my gaze but I refused to give it to him.
"Darling, look at me, come on." he mumbled as he gently hooked his finger underneath my chin and made me look up at him. His face softened more as he saw the tear rolling down my face.
"Fuck, sweetheart." he sighed. I returned it and bit my lip.
"I didn't go out to cheat on you, Tommy, and I didn't cheat on you. I did it because I can't remember the last time that we had sex. I can't remember the last time that you took a second away from work to return a kiss that I was giving you, or to actually say "I love you too" instead of just grunting when I say it. I can't remember the last time that I woke up in the middle of the night to see that, yes, you had gone to bed and your arm was around me, instead of having fallen asleep in your office. I can't remember the last time that you actually made me feel loved." I choked and shook my head. Tom sighed, a tear leaving his eye at my words.
"Darling, I'm so sorry. It really wasn't what I wanted, to make you feel like that, and I guess that I was just so distracted with work that I didn't realise that you felt that way. I'm so sorry." he mumbled, making me close my eyes and sigh as he gently cupped my neck and started kissing the other side of my skin. I curled my arms around his neck and pulled him closer as his arms wrapped around my waist.
"I just want my Tommy back. I know that being the mob boss is a lot of work, and I know that it's that work that pays for my nice clothes and luxury living, so I don't want to sound ungrateful, but it's getting too much." I admitted.
"You don't sound ungrateful at all, love, it's okay. I'm so sorry that you felt like that. I swear to god, from today, you'll never be made to feel like that again." he shook his head. I pulled away to look at him, making him sigh and give me a small smile.
"You promise, Tommy?" I mumbled quietly.
"I promise, angel. I swear on our marriage that I'll change things and make everything more balanced." he reassured. I nodded and gave him a small smile, making him return it as he leant down and gently kissed me.
