You woke up to an empty bed, only realizing it had been only you for a week now. James had gone to the pub after a big fight and hadn't come back, at least you didn't think so until you found a flower and a note on the table.

Apologies for everything. Going on a trip, love you

You growled. How dare he disappear like that and only leave a short note?!

*end of flashback*

You stopped treating it like that as soon as news came that something went wrong and his helicopter was attacked, along with others.

You spent two weeks crying over James. He was never the affectionate, lovey dovey type, but you loved him more than anything in the universe.

The two weeks you spent came to an abrupt end when you got a call to go to an airport. So you got out of your musty old clothes and went out to this airport 

At first you were frustrated, not seeing any way this could possibly NOT be a waste of time... until he came off of the plane right in front of you. You ran past security and dropped everything; your purse and your depression too- and you ran into his arms. His muscles tightened at the touch but loosened within moments, breathing in your perfume and sighing. "I love you"
