Your lids we're getting heavier by the second, but you couldn't leave from where you were sitting; she might wake up. You hear the door creak open, but you pay no mind to it; you couldn't leave.

You feel familiar arms wrap around your shoulders and pull you toward a warm body. You immediately relax knowing who's body it was. "Come to bed darling," he whispers into your hair. You shake your head numbly, determined to stay here all night- awake.

"She might wake up," you whisper quietly. You hear him chuckle softly against your neck at your weak statement. "The chance of our child waking up anytime soon is slim to none, Y/N Especially since its 5 hours until 7." "But-" you protest weakly. "No buts. Now come to bed, or do you want me to carry you there?" Without saying another word, you stretch your arms and legs out in front of you; finally admitting defeat.

You hear him chuckle one last time before he finally walks in front of you and sweeps you up into his protective arms. You lay your head on his shoulder as he begins to walk out of her room. "But what if she does wake up?" You question quietly. "Then I will get up and get her myself. Every night this week you have been getting up because she was crying, even though I've told you to wake me up if you ever wanted me to get her."
"I know Tom," you mumble as he places you down onto your guys bed. "Well then start believing it," he says back calmly as he climbs into bed to join you.

You turn to face him, confused at what he just said. "Believe what?" He smiles and moves your hair out of your face as he says, "That I am, and always will be, her father." He states simply, not breaking eye contact with you as he does.

Even though you are dead tired, you smile broadly at his statement. "I know, thank you... I love you." You state as you kiss him soundly on the lips. You turn back around so that your back is facing his front, and without hesitation, you feel his arm curve around your waist and pull you towards him. "As I love you my little darling"
