"Loki, I'm going to the store, then I'll come back home to get packed and then I'm going to Mara's house afterwards."

"Yes I know, Y/N. You told me this 10 times already! I'm not a Midgardian child!" Loki said rolling his eyes as he was making tea for himself.

"I'm sorry. Do you need anything before I leave?" You asked as you were grabbing your wallet.

Loki shakes his head in response as he sat on the coach, drinking his tea.

"Okay. Well, don't do anything..." You stopped to think a nice word to say about his behavior since you didn't want to sound like an angry mom.

"Um... weird when I'm gone, okay? Bye, Loki!" You said while walking out the door.

You had to take care of Loki since he was banished here by Odin as his punishment. When you found him, you took care of him ever since. He was a handful until you got the hang of him, two years later. Yup, he was that difficult. But, he started getting the hang of things on Earth so you could finally relax without teaching him something 24/7. You also keep Loki a secret from everyone you know, like your friends and family.

You then realized that he hasn't been himself since you started leaving Loki in your apartment while you were leaving to go to work of go to outings like going to your friend, Mara's house. It was her birthday so you had to go see her. Loki has been more nervous and sometimes moody from time to time and you would try to figure out why he acts that way.

When you were at the store, an idea popped into you head. Maybe he misses Asgard, you thought to yourself, so you went to buy something that would probably remind him of his home. He always talked about how beautiful it was and you would sometime get dreams of going to Asgard with Loki.

So, you got some supplies plus other things you needed before, got them into the car and drove back to your apartment. You hoped that Loki was asleep so he wouldn't see your surprise and the good thing was that he was asleep on the coach. You had a few hours until you could leave to Mara's house so you quickly and quietly went to his room.

You decorated his room, quietly, with black, gold and emerald green things that you thought he would have on Asgard like emerald green sheets that felt like silk, gold pillows that glowed by the sun's light, black silk curtains with gold lining, black comforter with gold details covering it and all sort of decorations to make it look like home. You were proud of yourself and your work.

Then went to check on Loki and the funny thing was he was still asleep, and you patted yourself on the back for being so quite at decorating. You checked the time and you realized you had more time to pack so you went to your room and started packing for you over night event at you friend's house and wrapping your gift.

"You came home, quietly."

"Ah!" You screamed, jumping a little, then turned to see Loki leaning on the nearest wall near the door.

"Will you ever stop sneaking up on me? You scared the living daylights out of me!" You asked as you trying to catch your breath. He knew that you can get easily scared. He does it 24/7 on you and you haven't got the hang of that.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't help but notice that you didn't even think about waking me up when you got back from your little shopping spree." He said with a little smirk on his face that you haven't seen in a very long time.

"I'm sorry. You looked peacefully asleep so I left you sleeping to go and wrap Mara's birthday gift." You lied as you finished wrapping you friend's birthday present.

Loki looked into your y/e/c eyes with his emerald green ones then raised his eyebrow at you "Oh really? How nice of you. How long will you be gone?" He asked walking towards you slowly.

"I'll be gone for tonight so I won't be home till like tomorrow afternoon." "Oh. Also, I also need to tell you something."

Loki's POV:

"Oh and what is that?" She said looking at me just standing there. "W-well, Uh, I- I'm going to miss you, Y/N... when you're gone... having fun." I mumbled, looking at floor. My cheeks felt like fire and I had no idea why.

I looked back at her to see her reaction. I could see a bit of pink on her cheeks and a little smile on her lips.

"I- I'll miss you too, Loki, but I'm gonna come back tomorrow." She cooed and all of a sudden, she walked over to me and hugged me tightly, not letting go of me. I chuckled a little then hugged her back, not letting go of her. I could see that she looked comfortable and relaxed already.

We stayed there for a while until her phone started ringing. We both sighed and she let me go to pick up her phone and answer it.

"Hey!... Yes I'll be there very soon. I just need to put my stuff into the car and then I'll be on my way over... okay... Is Ella coming over, too? Yay! I can't wait!... okay... Bye Mara!" Then she hung up with a smile on her lips, put her phone in her pocket, and looked at me.

"Well, I have to go now, Loki. Are you sure you can't come with me?" She asked.

"I- I'm sure I will be fine here... alone. You go have fun with your friends. D- Don't worry about me." I said and smiled.

"Okay, can you carry my bag for me?" She asked as she grabbed her friend's gift.

"Alright." I said then grabbed her bag off the bed and we walked to her car.

"Thank you. Good Bye Loki! See you tomorrow!" She said as she was in her car.

"Have fun." I said and waved her good bye as she drove away.

When she was out of sight, I went back to the apartment and fell onto the coach.

It was weirdly silent than usual but I shrugged it off and tried to go to sleep on the coach but I couldn't stop thinking about her. I started having this feeling that I never had before for anyone. I feel warm and fuzzy inside when she's with me or when I think about her. I get nervous when I talk to her and I try not to sound nervous or look nervous and I try not to say something wrong in front of her. When she hugged me, I was starstruck by her touch and her warmth.

Is this what the midgardians call love?

No.

It can't be!

She wouldn't love a monster like me!

I shouldn't be in love with an angel like her!

But she understands me,

Her beauty is uncanny,

Her voice is like music to my ears,

She's so kind to me,

And she never made me sad or angry,

But when she leaves, I feel so...

Alone.

I ran to my room and once I opened the door my heart started racing.

Did she do this for me?! I thought to my self. It looked a lot like my room on Asgard and I felt like I was at home. Tears formed in my eyes as I looked around my room. But why? Then I saw a note on my desk with a picture and it read:

Dear Loki,

I would like to make you feel welcome here and I wanted to feel like home to you. I thought that maybe you missed Asgard so I decorated your room to make it feel like your room on your home planet. I hope you like it!

I guess my dreaming spell worked after all. I wanted her to see how beautiful Asgard was but I didn't think that she would draw it and put me into the picture.

Well, she took you into her home, took care of you for two years, and now she is making you feel welcomed into this world and wanted you to make you feel like you're on Asgard! Its a sign! Do you not see it?! This might be a good idea to tell her how you feel!

Well, one, I don't have a phone. Two, I don't know her number. And three, she won't be back until tomorrow, after noon, like she said.

Oh, really?! And how do I tell her, exactly? Wait. Why am I talking to my self? I feel like I'm talking to Plagg from y/n's favorite show, Miraculous Ladybug!

Your POV:

You were at your friend's house and you and your friends were having a blast, feeling like you were a teenager all over again.

"So, Y/N, is there a special someone in you life right now?" Ella asked slightly smirking while wiggling her eyebrows.

"No."

"Are you sure? Once I called you and I could hear a man's voice in the background." Mara said with the same look as Ella's.

"T- That was just the TV show I was watching!" You lied, you still wanted Loki to be a secret from everyone.

"Alright, then give me your phone." Ella said taking her hand out.

You gave her your phone, since Loki doesn't have a phone so that wouldn't harm anything.

Both Mara and Ella looked through your phone then gave you a look.

"Y/N, Who's this? Your boyfriend, maybe?" Ella said showing a picture of Loki that you thought you deleted:

Damn it! You cursed in your head.

"T- That my co-worker!" You lied, almost blushing, hoping they would fall for your lie.

"Then why would you save that picture when he's your co-worker? That's kinda weird."

"I thought it was funny! Give me a break, girls! He was just pranking me and so I kept the picture as a memory of how stupid it was!"

They looked at each other, shrugged, and you all started continue with your girls night. Later when they were both asleep you were still awake since you couldn't stop thinking.

Am I in love with Loki?

Girl! Do you not see it! You did all these thing for Loki and you think that your not in love with him?!
