A/N: So this is going to be the Thor 1 Loki like the GIF above, just FYI!

It was a lovely day in Asgard and you were going to the royal castle for the first time. You were so excited to look around the castle and meet the princes. You have seen Odin Allfather and Queen Frigga before but you never saw the princes. You knew about the oldest prince, Thor. Some say that he is very handsome to the girls in the kingdom and was soon to be king, but the youngest prince, Loki, wasn't mentioned that much and you never knew why.

Your brother was one of the guards of the castle and he wanted to bring you with him. You were the youngest and you had only your brother and your mother. Your father died a long time ago and you missed him very much. He was the kindest man you ever met but now he's gone and you only had your brother to give you that same kindness your father gave you. You weren't very close to your mother so you were happy to get away from her for a while.

As you reached the castle, you were greeted by Thor and he showed you around.

"So I heard you are a bit of a bookworm. Is that right, Lady Y/N?" Thor said as you were walking through a colorful hall of pictures of the royal family.

"Yes, I just love reading stories of any kind." You laughed.

"Would you like to see the royal library? We have a lot of books and I only read a little bit, But my mother, Queen Frigga, and my brother, Prince Loki, love reading." He asked. You told Thor that you would love to go to the library and he led you to the library.

As you reached the royal library and you were amazed at how beautiful it was. The library's walls were covered with books of all sorts in all sorts of colors and royal blue pillars in each corner with gold markings of beautiful flowers and vines, wrapping around them. Huge windows were opened, letting the sun fill the room with its light and letting the soft wind in with gold curtains that were like silk flowing through the wind. You walked all around the beautiful room, pinching yourself to make sure you weren't dreaming.

You finally grabbed your favorite book, which you thought they wouldn't have in the royal library, and asked Thor to take you to the royal gardens. You heard that it was beautiful and you heard correctly.

There were gold paths with beautiful flowers, mostly roses, of all sorts of colors on the sides of the paths. There was a huge wall of trees of different kinds, the leaves were like diamonds, gold, and emeralds growing on the silver tree trunks. There were fountains with beautiful statues and glistening blue water flowing all around. You saw little fireflies flying around, bursting with their colorful light, even in the daylight.

You thanked Thor for his kindness and he bid you a good day. He also said that his brother was going to take you around to the rest of the castle and you were kinda excited and you had no idea why. Was it because you were you going to view more of the beautiful palace or was it because you were going to meet the prince you never heard anything about or maybe even both? You walked to find a spot to sit and read and relax and waited for Prince Loki to show up.

*Loki's P.O.V.*

Everything seemed relaxing until Thor came into my room, booming, "BROTHER!" 

As a prince, he should learn some courtesy.

"Yes, Brother?" I sighed, hoping he had a good excuse for bursting into my room.

"It's your turn to show Lady Y/N around the castle! I assure you that you will enjoy her company!" Thor said excitedly. I heard all about Y/N from one of the guards, whom I assumed was her brother.

"Where is she now?" I asked before Thor was about to leave.

"I left her in the gardens, by her request. She's reading one of your books." I looked out of my window and looked around my view of the gardens with my brother's help.

"There she is!" He shouted in my ear, pointing at the most beautiful maiden I have ever seen in my life, sitting underneath my favorite tree and reading my favorite book.

"She's very pretty, don't you think? And she was very kind! Have fun!" Thor said then left.

As he was out of sight, I quickly got changed into something promising but more comfortable and ran to the gardens. I stopped running so she wouldn't see me running at her. Once I caught sight of her, I started walking to her while figuring out a way to get her attention, so I wouldn't startle her.

"Hello, there." I greeted and she look away from her book to meet me. Her shining (Y/E/C) eyes stunned me.

"Hello. I suppose you are Prince Loki." She said as she put the book down and tried to stand up.

"Yes, I am. Oh, here, let me help you up." I said as I put my hands out to help her. She grabbed my hands with hers and I pulled her up.

"Thank you." Her voice was like music to my ears.

"You're welcome. You must be Lady Y/N." I said, as I kissed the back of her warm, soft hand, to show my respect.

"Yes, I am." She said then curtsied.

*Your P.O.V.*

"Shall I have this opportunity to show you the rest of the palace?" Prince Loki asked.

"Yes, of course, Your Highness." You said as you both started walking out of the gardens.

"Please, call me Loki." He laughed.

"Alright, Loki." You smiled. Who knew you two would become best friends sooner or later? You then realized how handsome Loki was. His slick back raven hair, His gorgeous emerald eyes. His smile, His sharp cheekbones, His enchanting voice. Even his laugh was like music to your ears.

You and Loki started talking about your interests and disinterests while he was showing you around and you two seemed to be turning into very good friends. When he finished showing you the palace, you two went to the gardens and chatted for a while until it was getting dark. Loki used his magic to entertain you and to be your light to see in the dark. Beautiful green light flowed from his hands then around you and Loki.

"Whoa! How did you do that?" You asked in amazement. He chuckled at your reaction.

"My mother, Queen Frigga taught me when I was little. It helped my sleep when I couldn't ." You smiled. You knew you two became best friends already and that Queen Frigga taught him well and treated him kindly.

 You and Loki started talking a little longer until you got a little tired. Loki could see you were tired and he chuckled.

"Would you like to go home, now? You look very tired, Y/N." He asked.

"Yes, I am a little tired. I guess I would have to go back home, now. Thank you for this wonderful time. I very much enjoyed your company." You said as you stood.

"Until we meet again, Lady Y/N," Loki said as he grabbed your hand and kissed it. You love it when he does that.

"My guards will be waiting to take you home, safely."

"Thank you. Good Bye, Prince Loki." You smiled.

"Good Bye, Lady Y/N." He said then you started to walk away. You felt the urge to turn around to look at him for the last time. So, you turned around to see him sitting there using his magic again, looking a little lonely. You felt bad once you looked at his lonely expression. Then, you had an idea so you walked over to him.

"Hey, um, Loki? Is it okay if maybe you can take me home? I feel safer and more content with you than the guards." You asked a bit shyly, playing with your fingers. 

Then, Loki turned to you and said "Yes, of course." He smiled his brightest smile that you absolutely adore. *Que GIF above*

So, then, Loki took you home safely. You thank him and said good night to him. Before you went inside, Loki gave you a diamond rose, made by his magic, and kissed you on the cheek.

"Good night, my dear." He whispered in your ear and then he left with a smirk on his face. You were just standing there watching the handsome, raven-haired prince walk away, star-struck.

"Y/N, are you home, my dear?" Your mother called from inside the house, once Loki was out of sight.

"Uh y-yes, mother. I'm coming in, now." You said as you lost your train of thought. Once you got inside your home, your brother was leaning against the wall near the door with a mischievous smirk on his face.

"W-why are you looking at me like that?!"

"Oh, nothing to worry about. So, little sister, how was your little adventure with Prince Loki?" He said wiggling his eyebrows at you.

"Oh please!" You said, blushing madly, then playfully hit him on the chest and he laughed. He always teases you, but you would still love your brother no matter what. You said good night to your mother and brother, danced your way to your room and you realized weren't tired anymore. You were too starstruck at what just happened to you the whole time you were with Loki.

You looked at the diamond rose. It was the most beautiful thing you have ever seen, except for Loki and the palace. It even felt like a real rose was in your hand, the petals were soft like normal rose petals and it even had a wonderful rose scent. 

You placed the rose on your nightstand and then got changed into your nightgown. When you were about to get into bed, you looked out your window. You had a wonderful view of the palace and you would always look at the palace every night when you couldn't sleep. As you were gazing at the golden palace, you saw green light from one of the castle windows and you knew it was Loki's magic. When you started feeling sleepy you crawled into bed and fell fast asleep, dreaming about your day and how you met Loki for the first time.
