'I'll be fine Y/N. It's just dinner.' Matt said.

You were standing with him infront of the door of his house. Today you were going to meet his parents and you were nervous. Very nervous.

'Just dinner? What if they don't like me Matt?' You asked him.

Matt walked over to you and moved some hair away from your face. He looked at you and smiled.

'I love you.. so they'll love you too.' He said.

You blushed and smiled. Matt pressed his lips against yours. You kissed him back but the kiss didn't last long. Matt grabbed his keys and opened the door. You followed him inside. Olivia immediately ran down the stairs to greet Matt.

'Hi sis. You doing okay?' He asked her.

'I'm perfect! You?'

'Of course I'm doing okay.' He smiled while looking at you.

You knew that Olivia had been feeling a little left out lately. Matt spend most of his time with you. You hoped that she wasn't going to ruin it for you.

'So you finally brought Y/N over?' She asked.

'Yes.' Matt smiled.

'And it was about time.' His mother smiled while walking into the hallway. 

You smiled at her and grabbed her hand.

'I'm Y/N.' You smiled.

'Oh it's so nice to meet you! I'm Samantha. We heard so much about you.' She smiled.

You looked at Matt and grinned.

'Oh really?' You asked.

She let you go and Matt playfully pushed you.

'Come on inside! Dinner is almost ready.'

Matt grabbed your hand and you walked inside. You smelled the food when you entered the living room.

'Our guest has arrived.' Samantha said.

You saw Matts father. He turned around and smiled at you. He wiped his hands on a towel before walking over to you and shaking your hand.

'I'm Y/N, it's so nice to meet you.' You smiled.

'Very nice to finally see you. I'm Tom. Have a seat I'll be ready in a minute.'

'So everyone knew that Y/N was coming over except for me?' Oliva asked.

'Sorry, I thought mom and dad told you.' Matt said.

Matt pulled a chair back for you and you sat down. He sat down besides you and laid his hand in your upper leg underneath the table. Olivia sat down diagonally of you and his parents sat down in front of you and Matt.

'I told them what your favourite food was.' Matt smiled at you.

You smiled at him.

'That's so sweet.' You blushed.

Everyone got some food and started eating. You took a bite. It was absolutely amazing.

'This tastes so good.' You smiled.

'I'm glad you like it.' Tom said.

'So I heard you two came together at the party that Julian gave?' Samantha asked.

'Yeah we did. But of course we've known each other for longer.' You explained. 'I'm in a lot of his classes and we have the same friends.'

'And she gets along well with Liv. I met here through Liv.' Matt smiled.

'Really?' Samantha asked Olivia.

You used to be really close but Olivia didn't speak to you that often anymore. Maybe it was because you were so close with Matthew now.  You had no idea.

'Then you must really like it that she's with him.' Tom smiled.

Olivia just nodded and took a bite from her food. Matt look at you when you just looked away from her.

'Liv is. She told me. I don't get why she doesn't answer.' Matt said.

You looked at Matt and smiled. Olivia looked at him. She told him many times that she didn't want him to be with you. She didn't get why he was lying.

'Matt-'

'What?' He asked a little annoyed.

'Guys, can we keep it fun here?' Tom asked.

Matt past her a look and took another bite from his food. The rest of the dinner was cool. Samantha and Tom asked you a lot but you didn't mind. It was amazing to meet Matt's parents.

'You said it was okay that she stayed over, right? You didn't change your mind?' Matt asked.

'You promised you'd help me study tonight.' Olivia said. 'I have a test tomorrow.'

Matt sighed.

'I helped you all week. Can't you just do the last bit yourself? You're smart Liv. I'm sure you can do it.'

'You promised me!' She hissed. 'You know I can study better when you're there.'

'I can stay over another time if you want.' You said to Matt.

'No. It's fine. I don't want you to go.'

You looked at Olivia. You couldn't believe this was happening.

'Are you sure?' You asked him.

'Yes I am.' He said.

He got up and grabbed his plate. You did the same and followed him. He put his in the sink and put yours on top of it.

'Are you sure?' You asked him again whole laying your hand on his upper arm.

'I am. Liv will definitely pass that test. We've already learned everything. She can reread it by herself.'

'I don't want to get between you two.. I don't feel like she likes me that much.'

Matt moved his hand through your hair.

'She just has to get used to me dating you. She doesn't like it that I spend less time with her. It'll be fine. I promise.'

In the meanwhile Samantha, Tom and Olivia were talking about you.

'I like her. She's good for him.' Samantha smiled.

'She's a very nice girl. If she's a friend of yours then that's even better.' Tom smiled at Olivia.

Olivia didn't say anything.

'Or don't you like her?' Samantha asked.

Olivia looked into the kitchen and saw Matt talking to you while smiling.

'I do.' She just said.

You two walked back.

'I'll put my bag upstairs.' You smiled.

'Up the stairs, first door to your right.' Matt said.

You walked out of the living room and grabbed your bag and went upstairs.

'Wow, a girl that doesn't know where your bedroom is.' Liv sighed.

'Shut up.' Matt hissed. 'You made Y/N feel like you hate her.'

'That's her problem.'

'Liv.' Samantha hissed. 'We like her all very much.  At least me and Tom do. She's welcome to stay.'

'Thanks mom.' Matt smiled before going upstairs.

He walked into his room where you were waiting for him. You got up and hugged him. Matt hugged you back.

'They think you're amazing.' Matt smiled.

'That's great to hear.' You smiled.

Matt let you go and wrapped his arms around you, letting them rest on your lower back.

'Don't worry to much. My parents love you and Liv will too.'

'It just sucks.. we used to be so close and now she's just angry at me.'

Matt pulled you closer and pressed his lips against yours into a heated and passionate kiss. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him back. You opened your mouth a little to give him permission.

Your kiss was broken by the door that opened. Matt let you go and turned around. To see his mother.

'You forgot your bag downstairs.'

You brought two bags. One with your stuff for the sleep over and one with your wallet and everything else. Matt raised his brows. Samantha quickly put it down.

'I'll go now.' She said and she closed the door.

You laughed and Matt grinned a little while turning back to you.
