Daniel's P.O.V

     Biting my lip I was nervous as I walked up the platform to the set of Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone. I mean it's not like I haven't been on stage and acted in front of people. I did do that role in David Copperfield with Maggie Smith. She basically got me this role by telling the directors and producers about me. Yeah sure I had to prove my self with my acting skills, but I probably wouldn't have even been on their radars if it hadn't been for Maggie. My mum tapped my shoulder as we finally made it to the door leading to the films, filming area I guess. She smiled at me as I took a deep breath preparing myself. I mean this is a big moment for me. Harry Potter is the most iconic role I can think of to play. Besides Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. I smile at my mum as I reach for the door, the door that would change my life, make or break my very young acting career, and in time bring me the greatest happiness I've ever known. All I had to do was push and I was in. As I walked in I could instantly feel the busy yet comforting atmosphere. People were rushing around and trying to get people to meet at a certain area. Someone was yelling about how no one seemed to be able to get the child actors into the right place at the right time. A brunette lady came up to me and said "Hi, excuse me who are you so I can direct you to where you are supposed to be." She smiled brightly and I tried to reciprocate. "Uh, hi my name's Daniel Radcliffe I'm supposed to be acting as Harry." Her eyes shined a bit brighter as I told her I would be playing one of the leading roles. "Right of course. Now follow me over here to meet the people you will be working with for however long it takes to make these movies." Mum and I followed her over to a house set where I could see about seven kids hanging around. My mum pushed me towards them when I hesitated in going over to them. "Now don't be shy, these are just a bunch of future opportunities of friendship," she gave me a warm smile and with that I walked over to the other kids to whom I would soon forget the feeling of not having in my life.
