It has been twenty years since Yara stepped foot in this town.

Twenty years when she had to leave because of her father who managed to take away her son from her.

Her father, that bastard who wanted to ruin her life and take away her son, although she managed to kill she wasn't able to get her son back and all these years she has been living in hiding thinking that one day they will come for her.

But gladly no one came after her, and with time her fear vanished and now she had the courage to come back to have a look at her son.

She didn't even know whether he was alive or not.

She was standing near the Xiao mansion, the new Xiao mansion.

It took her some time to figure out that her so-called family had moved to a new house.

he observed it from afar and waited for someone to come out.

But what came to her was a phone call from her husband Anthony and the news she received made her devastated so devastated that she drove all the way to 'weheal' hospital and ran inside in a frenzy.

"Kevin!" she screamed and ran into her husband who was already in tears and Lilith went to him, "where is he! Where is my son!"

Lilith screamed as she looked at Ziyi behind her father and ran to her, "You fucking bitch where is my son! what did you do to him you must have done something to him you vicious little-"

"Shut up!" Yibo spoke and looked at Ziyi who was quietly glaring at Lilith while Yibo stood before her. "I will take you to him."

Yibo said and then took Lilith to the ICU and showed Kevin who they were able to save but was in a comma.

"There are chances that he might survive." Yibo spoke, "But didn't think too much"

Lilith started crying badly as she saw her son lying like a corpse on the bed.

After a while, Anthony came in and took her out of there, and made her sit in the waiting area, Lilith was so shaken that she went into a state of shock as she quietly sat in her place.

And soon the only empty seat beside her was also taken by someone and it was none other than Cheng who smiled as he spoke, "how does it feel? Yara."

Lilith felt her world shatter as she looked at Cheng who smiled and introduced himself, "my name is Cheng... Xiao Cheng."

Lilith's eyes widened as she looked at him up and down, as he said, "bold of you to come back to the country, but it's a good thing for me of course... I finally got the opportunity to see you... and make you suffer."

Lilith was shaken as she started to tremble, "you... did you..."

Cheng smiled, "yeah, I did just like you killed my grandfather... enjoy your stay here Yara, and you might also think about your other son, or did you forget about him?"

Lilith straightened when she heard that and Cheng spoke, "my dear aunt, your son you know what's your son's name now? his name is Zhan.... and now that you are here, would you like to see him?

See him die?!"

Tears spilled from her eyes as she thought about that and Yibo saw Cheng talking to Lily, but what gave him a creepy feeling was when he saw Cheng smiling when Lilith was definitely crying.

So he went closer as he was curious what Cheng was saying to Lilith.

"Don't you dare... you demon..."

"Oh...I will... you will see him soon as well, just you wait Yara."

Yibo paused when he heard that, why the hell was Cheng calling Lilith Yara and was this the same Yara as back in the records.

"I am going to make you pay," he said before he walked away and Yibo hid so that Cheng could not see him.

What the hell is this mess? Why was he calling Lilith and Yara?

And the fact that he knew Lilith is it true that this Yara is really Feng's sister?

Yibo needs to talk to Zhan.

Meanwhile, Cheng drove to his office feeling satisfied as hell.

After twenty years he finally saw Lilith's miserable face it was so satisfactory.

Once he came back he kept his bag on the side and opened the drawer but his smile vanished and his face paled when he didn't find the folder over there.

Rage filled his heart against anyone who took it and he started looking in other drawers but suddenly someone threw the folder on the table, "looking for this?"

Cheng looked at Zhan who was glaring at him, Cheng spoke nothing he just picked up the file and Zhan closed the door, "now shall we talk?"

Cheng stretched his neck to the side before he spoke, "did you read the file?"

Zhan nodded, "Let's go somewhere quiet."

He said and then walked out while Cheng followed him out, they went to the rooftop which was thankfully empty.

And Zhan spoke, "Yibo called me... apparently he and Ziyi discovered some records about Yara, and he also told me that he saw Cheng talking to Ziyi's stepmother and calling her Yara when saw Lilith's photo she eerily resembled Yara from the file.

And her son Kevin... just died after being hit with a truck... so." Zhan paused before he looked at Cheng with glaring eyes, while Cheng looked anywhere but him, "did you do it?"

"Did you do that to him?"

Cheng closed his eyes and poked the insides of his cheeks with his tongue before he smiled and looked at Zhan, "yes I did, so what, huh, what are you going to do turn me in? or are you feeling bad for the dearest aunt Yara?"

Zhan clenched his fists, "HAVE YOU GONE MAD! HOW CAN YOU DO THAT TO SOMEONE! YOU ARE A LAWYER AND YET!"

"I AM A LAWYER SO WHAt! AND THIS IS JUST THE START I AM GOING KILL YARA AS WELL BY MY OWN HANDS!"

After hearing this Zhan slapped him tightly on the face, "HAVE YOU GONE MAD! DON'T YOU KNOW IT'S A CRIME AREN'T YOU ASHAMED? ARE YOU EVEN MY BROTHER? WHAT WILL MOM AND DAD THINK? THAT THEY RAISED A KILLER?!"

Cheng scoffed after he heard this and started laughing before Zhan spoke, "aren't you afraid of justice?"

"Justice? Justice?! WHAT JUSTICE?!" Cheng yelled, "Zhan I will tell this to you very clearly today there is no such thing as justice it's a bloody made-up concept.

There is no such thing as a justice system believe me I know, I have seen a man who raped a ten-year-old girl walk away freely, I have seen a wife wrongly accusing her husband and sending him to life in prison while taking all his money.

I have seen a bully killing a student and walking away, I have seen a woman hit and run a father and his toddler walk away with no charge I know Zhan there is no justice. This shit only exists for poor people who are struggling to make the ends meet not in our world.

And let's talk about our own family it is so convenient for you that you forgot everything but I remember everything Zhan, you know her son Micah and how she treated him?

She gave birth at seventeen and grandpa wanted to punish her by kicking her off from the inheritance and you know what she did! She made her own son drink or eat different medicine that would make him sick and that would gain her attention so that grandpa would pity her as well.

How sick she can be, she loved the attention and sympathy so much that she never wanted her son to heal so she made him drink too many drugs and he nearly died and when grandpa found out he kicked her out of the house, and guess what he took away the custody of the child and gave it to Feng and Ziyuan and forced her to go to a mental asylum!

Her son was only four at that time and when one year late she escaped from the asylum.

Grandpa was home alone with you when she and her gang members that she had befriended and promised them good money came to attack the house grandpa hid you in the closet and gave all the money he had to her but she was not satisfied she and her bloody friends.

Cut grandpa into pieces while he was alive! and when I came from school I saw my grandpa lying on the floor with his head on the other side of the room! She even tried to kill me but I ran away called the cops! If I hadn't done that she would have killed us too!"

Cheng was breathing heavily and Zhan kept his hand on his chest while Cheng's eyes got filled with tears, "You know Zhan... you know what mom and dad did?! they buried the matter because it was too shameful for them!

Yara getting pregnant at seventeen was shameful, she had an illegitimate child it was also shameful and she killed her own father so badly that is also shameful! 

Mom's and dad bribed the media, and the cops to stay quiet and this led to Yara getting enough chance to flee the country! And NOW TWENTY YEARS ARE OVER THE STATURE OF LIMITATION IS OVER MEANING THIS CASE IS CLOSED AND CAN'T BE REOPENED!

And even if it is mom and dad won't let it come out! that's why Zhan wake up there is no justice in this world! She will never be punished unless I do it! Grandpa the only person who loved Micah so much didn't deserve to die so badly!

So do whatever you want because I am going to kill her!" Cheng spoke with so much anger and hatred that Zhan can feel the bloodlust.

Is this what Cheng has been going through all along?

All alone all these thoughts plagued his mind?

Cheng who was breathing heavily, "it's so good Zhan, it's so fucking good that the trauma was so much for you to handle that you forgot but I didn't and I won't never, turn me in or best kill me... and you are right I am not you brother!"

Cheng said before he walked away from there. Leaving Zhan shocked as hell and shaken.
