So I was thinking what I should do with this story and I got struck with a lot of ideas for ....TORTURING THEM HAHAHAHAH, are you all ready!!!!

But of course, before we dive into more angst, let's go through some calm moments, not between the main couple, nope, they can't get rest, not at all.

That night when Zhan came back to his room, Yibo was sitting on the bed, Zhan wanted to listen to Cheng's advice so for that day he grabbed his keys and walked out of the room.

He was going to stay at the penthouse for some time.

Yibo only watched him leave and couldn't say anything, Zhan also didn't acknowledge his existence and treated him like he was invisible and walked away.

He didn't want Yibo to see his red eyes and his tears, and so did everything so fast that Yibo didn't see his tear-stained face and gritted teeth.

Yibo only thought that their relationship had suffered irreparable damage and now it was doomed to end.

Zhan must be feeling disgusted by Yibo and Yibo just laid back on the bed, he didn't want this relationship to end he didn't want to let go of Zhan.

The thought of losing Zhan hurt him so much that he can barely breathe.

Yibo has never ever hated himself so much.

Meanwhile when Zhan passed by Simon's office and called Simon to see if he was in the company.

Simon answered after four rings, "Hello." Simon's voice was not cheerful as well it sounded exhausting.

"Wanna come to my penthouse for some drinks?" 

"Sure." 

"Where are you right now, I am outside your company."

"That's great just wait outside I am coming," Simon said and the call was disconnected, Zhan put his head down on the steering wheel as he waited for Simon.

A few minutes later the door of the passenger seat opened and Simon sat down the first thing he said was, "You look dead."

Zhan smirked as if he can't see Simon's pale face and tired eyes and black circles under his eyes, "You don't look any better."

Simon smiled as well, "I am done with life in all honesty."

Zhan started the car, "Oh wow, me too that's why I did some really, really stupid things."

"Let's talk while drinking."

Once they reached the penthouse, it was clean again however many things like the furniture were missing as they were broken and were cleaned by people hired by Zhan.

Simon sat on the kitchen counter and Zhan took out four bottles of wine he opened one for himself and then one for Simon before he sat beside him.

"You start," Zhan said.

Simon sighed, "I found out why Zhehan cheated on me."

"Why?"

"When my father collapsed, his mother and sister had an accident on the day and they didn't survive and his father got a heart attack and is bedridden. And he was mad because I wasn't there.

I got mad at him again for hiding something like this I was really close to his family his mother was like my mother and his sister was like the cutest little thing naturally  I was mad

He had so much time and so many months and days and yet he didn't tell me, so I got angry and made him lose his job also I shifted his father to a better hospital without telling him and I didn't give him his father's address or anything... and I haven't gone home since that day...

He tried to call me but I blocked him, I don't want to hear anything."

Zhan's mind was blown as he heaved a long sigh, "wow that's crazy."

"I am sure yous story is crazier than mine."

"Are you sure you are not going to talk to Zhehan?"

"No, I gave him months Zhan months, each month has thirty days each day has twenty-four hours each hour has sixty minutes now you tell much how many seconds he needed to tell me?

If not by his mouth then we have email, chats so many things but no he had to throw a tantrum."

Zhan sighed and took a long sip, "Then what are you going to do?"

"I am going to divorce him. But I need to talk to my father before that."

"All the best for that."

Simon rolled his eyes, "You tell now."

Zhan laughed but his eyes were red and he told Simon everything as well when he finished Simon smiled and heaved a long sigh as well.

"Wow..." Simon said both of them were slightly drunk at this point, Simon didn't say anything before he burst into laughter.

While Simon only looked at him, "Oh... I am sorry. I am so sorry." and while he was saying he couldn't his laughter.

So he covered his mouth and put his head down and Zhan whose face was red because of the alcohol smiled as well, "What a joke isn't it." Zhan said as he drank alcohol.

"Wow," Simon spoke as he wiped his tears from the corner of his eyes, "What the fuck dude."

Zhan only shook his head slightly, now that he was reminiscing about everything.

"What are you going to do?"

"I am going to Cheng's advice."

"I have to say Cheng gives the best advice ever."

Zhan smiled proudly as he opened his second bottle and so did Simon, "He is my brother after all and he is a lawyer it's his job."

"I should hire him as well."

"Sure go ahead."

Simon took another sip before he said, "You know what, you are quite lucky, your brother has no interest in business and neither your sister, your brother and your parents are always fighting so if someday you want all the inheritance you can get is so easily."

Zhan smiled, "I have been told many times... but I don't want it either. Cheng and Yanli should get it all. Besides I made my parents angry my father slapped me can you imagine? for the first time. I am a terrible son. Now I have to strive hard to become perfect again"

Simon's smile dimmed, as he drank, "Zhan... your parents won't stop loving you, even if you don't strive so hard, you can take a break."

"Nope, I can't, I caused my parents trouble so now I have to produce a good result to make them happy again, I am going to work harder now."

Simon sighed, "You know what? maybe you should tell your parents that you know."

Zhan laughed at this, "And possibly create more trouble for them? If they hid it so long then there must be a reason. I want to let it remain like that."

"Why do I even try," Simon mumbled.

And so the two drank for the whole night and chatted and enjoyed each other's company, a best friend to chat and dump their stupid stories and events of a crazy life on each other was a great help to both of them.

They drank till morning and finally under the effect of alcohol finally fell asleep.

The next day Yibo once again left early, when he reached the hospital he once again tried to approach Ziyi who ignored him.

The other staff more and less understood that dr. Meng was not talking to Dr. Wang and this happened after the cops incident the other day where Dr. Wang's husband yelled at Ziyi and that's why she was mad at Yibo.

Many rumors and gossip circulated the most famous ones being, that Yibo's husband thought that Ziyi and Yibo were dating that's why he got angry.

Yibo and the Ziyi knew people were talking about them but they couldn't really do anything about it they just went with the flow.

By the time evening came  Yibo got up from his place and decided to take a break.

He stretched his limbs and took off his coat and informed Mr. Nelson that he was going out for a walk and so he walked out.

Due to the unhealthy routine and mountain of stress and pressure in his life these days, Yibo felt headaches, also he felt his back and waist ached for two reasons one was Zhan and the other was because of sitting so long.

So he went to the nearby Cafe and ordered a cup of coffee and then went to the nearby pharmacy however he saw someone familiar over there.

And quickly went to him, "Mr. Zhang?!"

Zhehan looked at him, "Oh dr. Wang what a coincidence."

Zhehan coughed a little and Yibo asked, "are you having a cold?"

"Yeah, took a cold shower for too long." he said, "What are you doing here?"

"Oh I came to buy some medicine for headache," Yibo said as he looked at Zhehan up and down he looked so thin and weak, "Did you come by car?"

"No. My car has some problem with its engine and I am too lazy to call a mechanic, I am also on job hunting these days..." Zhehan smiled when he saw Yibo look at him with slight surprise, "I am unemployed at the moment."

"What happened?"

Zhehan shook his head, "Nothing."

Yibo did not ask further he just pressed his lips together before he asked, "Um... if you don't mind then may I drop you home?"

"Oh, no, no I won't bother you."

"It's not a bother at all please let me help you. My shift is going to end soon anyway."

Zhehan coughed a little he didn't have the energy to argue with him so he agreed.

"Dr. Wang, thank you very much for the lift," Zhehan said as he sat on the passenger seat.

Yibo smiled, "It's nothing I am happy to help."

"Dr. Wang I know that you are guilty, please don't blame yourself, I have moved on and so should you."

Yibo sighed, "Mr. Zhang you saved my mother's life, back then when she had her accident you helped bring her to the hospital and you also donated blood to her, you even paid the bills when all my relatives refused to help and I was left alone.

You stayed with me till my grandma came and you refused to take my money back naturally I am very grateful to you to this day and I am forever in your debt. I also felt guilty, because when fate gave me the chance to help you, I wasn't able to save your mother and sister, I am really sorry."

"You are not god, Dr. Wang if my mother's time was up then nothing could have been done please don't feel guilty."

Yibo sighed, this is something that he always felt guilty about as a doctor he couldn't save every life he knew that but Zhehan's mother and sister's cases left a deep impact on him.

And on the surface, he might pretend to like Simon but after finding out that he was Zhehan's husband Yibo couldn't like him anymore.

"We are here," Zhehan said and Yibo parked the car, "Please come in and have some water at least."

"Sure," Yibo said and got down as well, and followed Zhehan in after locking his car, however as soon as he got down another car came behind them.

"Thanks." Simon spoke he had told Zhan to drop him off since his car was at the office and he was not in a mood to drive but Zhan stopped when he saw Yibo's car, "That's Yibo's car."

Simon also saw the car that was parked ahead, "Wanna come inside and see?"

Zhan was naturally curious about what business Yibo would have here so he also got down from the car.

Yibo and Zhehan came in first and Zhehan was about to go to the kitchen when the door opened again and this time it was Simon and Zhan who walked in.

And Simon was the one who spoke first, "Yibo what brings you here?"

"Oh, I found him when my shift ended so I gave him a life," Yibo said as he glanced at Zhan who was also looking at him.

While Zhehan didn't look at Simon at all and Simon finally asked Yibo, "How do you know him?"

Zhan also had the same question and Yibo replied, "Zhehan helped me when my mother had an accident years ago he helped her to get to the hospital and also donated her blood and paid the bills and Zhehan bought his mother and sister to my hospital as well, however, we were not able to save them.

So I feel guilty and am indebted to him."

Simon and Zhan's faces were not covered by a frown anymore but they were indeed surprised,

However before anyone can say anything they suddenly heard glass shattering on the floor and Simon asked Zhehan, "Was dad home when you left?"

Zhehan shook his head and Simon quickly walked to see what happened and others as well.

However as soon as everyone came to the kitchen their eyes were wide when they saw the scene before them, and Simon and Yibo felt dumbfounded.

There was May and William in the kitchen engrossed in a heated make-out session.

"Mom!"

"Dad!"

Simon and Yibo said together and the William and My finally broke the kiss, while the other two just stood there with wide eyes and agape mouths.
