"What was that about?" Simon asked as he pushed Zhan's wheelchair back to his room.

Thankfully he had come to the rescue before any argument could break out, and now here he was pushing Zhan back to his room.

"He is a bastard."

Simon rolled his eyes, "What did he do now?"

"He was ordering me."

"Maybe because he knows what's better for you because he is a doctor."

Zhan sighed, "I don't want to talk about him."

Simon spoke nothing and took Zhan to the room where he helped him get on the bed.

After he was done, Simon loosened his tie and sat on the sofa and soon laid down on it.

Zhan saw that Simon'd face was red and he looked rather tired, "Are you drunk?"

Simon nodded, and Zhan sighed, "Then you should go home."

"I want to rest, I will go soon." Simon said but his voice came out as slowl and mixed up Zhan can barely understand what he was saying.

"Simon is everything okay."

"Yeah, of course, everything is just fine. Always," he said before he closed his eyes.

Zhan clenched his fists, he wanted to helo his best friend but he couldn't look like he should really get discharged.

"Simon?"

Zhan called out but there was no reply and when he looked at him he found that Simon was already asleep.

To sleep in an uncomfortable position like this he must be really tired.

Zhan decided not to pursue the matter anymore and went to sleep as well.

His mood was ruined today.

Meanwhile, Yibo was equally pissed as well when he reached home he parked his car and walked straight to his house opened the door with a loud bang and closed it as well. 

"Welcome back... Son." May spoke with a bright smile, and Yibo stopped in his tracks and took deep breaths before he smiled brightly, "Hey mom."

He said and went to his mother, "hurry up and get fresh, then come for dinner."

Yibo did as he was told and immediately went to get fresh.

After he came downstairs for the dinner his mother spoke, "How was your day today?"

As soon as he heard that he frowned and he felt a bitter taste in his mouth, "It was a good mom."

"By the way son..."

Yibo knows where this is going,  and he was not ready but May didn't know that so she spoke again, "Are you dating someone?"

Yibo looked at her and shook his head while she sighed, "You are already twenty-eight already... don't you think you should get married?"

Yibo kept in eating his food and May said, "Man or a woman anyone would be okay."

Yibo gave his mother a smile, "Mom... I will get married someday."

"When will that someday come?"

"It will, not let me eat please."

May sighed as she sat on her chair, "When will you get married son, that Caspian is already engaged and you didn't even have a girlfriend or a boyfriend."

So this is what it is about.

Caspian was the son of his father's second wife, in short, his step-brother.

His father's second wife Lily must have taunted it and mocked May that's why she is in a bad mood.

"Mom... you know what?" Yibo spoke.

"What?"

"I think you should get married."

May's face turned red, "You insolent child is this the age to get married!"

"Of course it is, you are still so young and pretty and in good health and lovely figure any man would die to marry you..."

May smacked Yibo's back of the head and scolded him even more, "you get married and free me I am done taking care of you."

Yibo sighed but he was really serious, his father has always looked down at him and his mother after her married ti Lily because she was rich, and so he also became rich after he married Lily.

Hence he looked down on May who was not as rich as Lily but that was his first misunderstanding as what he didn't know was that May's mother that is Yibo's grandmother had a huge amount of property under her name but she never told this to her two daughters and son because she wanted them to struggle and learn hard work.

Yibo's aunt and May's sister couldn't bear it and ran away with her rich lover and got married, despite his grandmother's protest. While his uncle that is Yibo's uncle also went away.

 Yibo's father and his aunt and his uncle had always, always looked down on him but joked about them when his grandmother dies she gave all her property to May who stayed by her till the end and took care of her, and then naturally after May all that money will go to Yibo.

And from it was a lot of money as a lot, enough to make his father and aunt and uncle jealous.

The money that Yibo's father had was not his own but his wife Lily's who only owned shares and had no real power, the real power was with Caspian and his maternal grandfather.

No wonder why his father wants to come back to May.

But till Yibo is alive he will never ever allow his father to come back to May, that man was no longer his father, and Yibo was going to find a good man for his mother!

With that thought in mind, he went to sleep.

"I will be back at night. Take care and don't cause trouble."

"I do not cause trouble."

"Let me rephrase it do not bother Dr. Wang."

Zhan looked at Simon who warned him, "he is your doctor Zhan if you make him angry he can poison you, you are already having nightmares I am sure you don't any more problems right?"

Zhan sighed and laid back on the bed.

That day he actually waited for Yibo and was eagerly looking at the door but Yibi did not come, not even once.

Of course, he must be mad at him but no worries he can come during lunch, but when Yibo did not show his face during lunch as well, he asked, "Where is Dr. Wang?"

Mrs. Nelson smiled and said, "Dr. Wang has gone out for lunch."

Zhan's eyes became cold, "Lunch? Alone?"

"Of course not."

"Then who?"

Before Mrs. Nelson can answer, another voice spoke, "With the chairman of course." Zhan and the nurse looked at the person and found a smirking Ziyi over there as if she was enjoying seeing Zhan's cold face.
