Are elvish animals also immortal? Cuz, I mean, it kinda stinks if you have to get a new horse every ten or twenty years when you're going to live forever... And I know there are elf horses, but are there immortal elf cats? Dogs? In Aman, probably, but what animals did the Noldor bring with them when they were exiled over onto Middle Earth? And what about the Moriquendi? They probs had just mortal animals. Unless they didn't. 'Kay, so I'm now really curious about the mortal/immortal status of the fauna of Arda. O.O
