'Kay, so I'm reading my nifty Tolkien Dictionary (which turned out to be not so nifty...) And then:
Hmm. Sounds an awful lot like Dumbledore *pointed glance at J.K. Rowling*. Lol jk. Not trying to hate on Harry Potter, just trying to make known my scorn for it. ;) And not just because it almost plaigarises LOTR, but also because the most of the characters are jerks, magic and sorcery is deemed a good thing, and it's just not cool. I mean, the Bible clearly states in several places that wizardry, sorcery, and all that kind of magic is sin and should not be practiced. Leviticus 19:31, Revelation 21:8, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Among others.
Anyways, it's kinda sad: This dictionary has an entry for an insect mentioned in a Hobbit poem, BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE AN ENTRY FOR BELEG CUTHALION!! :[ :[ :[ I looked under "Beleg" and there was nothing, and I looked under "Cuthalion" and there was nothing! Let's see about Mablung... *some time later* Nope no mention whatsoever of Mablung. And Beleg is only mentioned once on one page; the part about Túrin. Needless to say (but I'm saying it anyways), I'm disappointed. :/ Well, it's still a cool book and informative. But now I'm confused about the Drúedain and Haladin! I thought they were the same people! That's what I got from Unfinished Tales! Ugh. Anywho, that's that, and I hope you were satisfactory informed. ;| :)
