Q. Who are the four Elf-Friends that Elrond named? (You know, that one part of TFoTR when Elrond says that Frodo deserves a seat among the great Elf-Friends during the Council of Elrond.)

Hurin, Turin, Beren, and Hador.

Also, am I the only one that thinks Tuor has more right to be there than Turin? I mean, Turin was raised for the better part of his childhood by elves, was best bros with an elf, considered to be elf-like by elves, and an elf fell in love (or maybe it was "love") with him. But, he also: killed his best bro elf (I don't care if it was an accident. He killed Beleg *angry tears*), was pretty much the cause of Nargothrond's fall, and caused some discord among them. To put it simply, I don't like Turin. He killed Beleg and screwed up in more ways than one. I know, no one's perfect, and he was cursed by Morgoth himself, but I still don't like him that much. Meanwhile, Tuor was raised for the whole of his childhood by elves, lived among elves, marries an elf, and in general helped elves. And, Tuor is Elrond's grandpa. Turin is a very distant cousin on his great-grandpa Beren's side. I traced it, and Turin is Elrond's fourth cousin once removed.

To conclude, Tuor should have been there. Not Turin. Call me biased, but I'm team Tuor.
