My life here...at Anteiku's been...very interesting... It's kinda funny actually. I've been through so much and the people who help me get through it were...my friends.

Well... I'm still getting to know some of them. Touka's going to be a challenge though. Things have been getting less awkward between us but I still have a long way to go. Anyway the point is, I've made it through this because of them.

My mother actually...made my life harder... As for my dad...well I'm going to miss him. He made me happy when nothing else did. After I lost him my life was just...despair...sadness... After I met Kaneki and the others I was happy again. It was the first time that I was able to express joy in a while.

I've been able to start a new life and get away from my old one. My friends are my family now. I don't need anyone else. As long as I have them I'll be just fine. I'll always treasure what I have with them.
