We walk back into the cafe and the first person Kaneki and I see is Touka.

"I heard some noise coming from outside. I figured it was nothing but I'm still curious as to what happened out there..." She says.

Uh...

"I knocked over some things out back." Kaneki says "I kinda fell..."

"Oh." She says looking up and down at Kaneki. "I'm glad you're ok." She turns and walks away into another room.

"Why did you cover for me?" I whisper.

"I don't think we should make a big deal out of this." Kaneki whispers back.

"I don't either but...how do you know Touka fell for it?"

"Well, that's the thing..." Kaneki laughs nervously. "I don't..."

Oh well...

"I guess we'll just tell her some other time."

"Yeah. For now I think we should just wait."

"Wait for what?" I hear Kota say.

Don't tell me Kotamaru heard all that...

"The right moment." I say and walk off.
