I turn my head and I see the others behind me. I look back in front of me and I notice that Kotamaru has stopped walking. I stop as well.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Look." He responds quietly and I see him quickly look to his left

I look to the left and I see a dove. I look to the right and I see another.

Crap... I should've known... They've probably changed their strategy after they found out that he helped us. And based on what Kotamaru said...they're here for both of us.

"Come on out!" He yells

I look back again and it seems that the others have noticed them.

"Come on!" He yells again "I know you want me dead! I'm supposed to be the traitor of the CCG right?! Then come on and get me!"

"What are you doing?" I ask in almost a whisper

"You guys go. I'm trying to distract them." He whispers back

"I guess the CCG's just full of cowards!"

"Go." He says

"No, I'm not-" I see something shoot towards him so I push him out of the way

I suddenly feel sharp needles of pain strike me in my side.

He falls onto the ground in shock. I see that my blood has splattered on him. It's on his face, on his hands...

"You... Your blood... You lost-"

"I'm well aware." I say

I look down and see that what hit me looks like multiple crystals. I pull them out one by one. Once I get to the last one, I hold it up for everyone to see.

"Now...who's the one who shot these?"
