It's been a few days since I got my mask and things seem kinda quiet. We haven't seen any doves around lately so that's good for us.

But this whole thing has made me think about what happened last time...when I fought that dove... We were fighting and then he just suddenly stopped... He was frozen like a statue... I don't want that to happen to anyone else... But...I most likely will have to fight one of them again... Maybe Touka was right. Maybe it really is just the beginning.

I sigh and I sit down on the chair closest to me.

"What's wrong?" I hear Kaneki ask

I look up and see him take a seat next to me.

"It's nothing... I'm just kinda worried." I say

"You too huh?" He smiles "...I'm sure everything will be fine."

"I hope so." I smile back

I just want things to stay normal for us...and if not...then I just want us to stay alive.
