Rika: "Uh, what's going on?"

Shinichi: "So...is this why you said we should meet?"

His eyes move from Kaneki to me.

Rika: "You guys might be more similar to each other...personality wise... But, I must admit that I didn't exactly expect this to happen. So, what's the issue?"

Kaneki: "Oh, there's no issue. We were just...uh-"

Shinichi: "Comparing and contrasting, I guess you could say."

Rika: "I see... Well, I've always wanted to see your parasite in person anyway. You said his name was Migi, right?"

Shinichi: "Yeah. And what are those things called?"

Rika: "Oh, you mean on Kaneki? They're called kagune. I'm surprised you haven't told each other of you're abilities yet."

"Shinichi: "You walked in on us before we could."

Kaneki retracts his kagune and Shinichi's hand turns back to normal.

Kaneki: "I don't see the need to have my kagune out."

Shinichi: "Same for me...with Migi."

Suddenly, there's loud banging on the door. I rush over and look out the peephole only to see Ayato. I open the door and he rushes inside.

Rika: "Let me guess. Loverboy's still after you?"

Ayato: "What. The. H*ll...DO YOU THINK?!"

Rika: "Don't forget, Ayato... This is MY house. I can easily kick you out if I wanted to... And if Sakamaki finds you...who knows what you might be subjected to..."

Ayato: "You wouldn't..."

Rika: "Oh, yes I will... But, uh, anyway, I thought you guys had a little...fun when I left."

Kaneki: "Fun? As in...Ayato, you-"

Ayato: "Shut it, Eyepatch! We did nothing!"

Rika: "Then what were those noises?! You better not have-"

Ayato: "We didn't! That Sakamaki guy was talking too much and I fell asleep as he was talking. When I woke up, he was staring at me... AND EVER SINCE THEN HE'S BEEN FOLLOWING ME THANKS TO YOU!"

Rika: "...You must be one heck of a snorer then. When I came in, I didn't know what you two were doing. I thought-"

Ayato: "I get it! And I don't snore!"

Rika: "It was either snores or..." I laugh in between my words. "or...moans..."

Ayato: "That's it! I'm done!"

Rika: "Have fun with Sakamaki then! Oh yeah, I almost forgot something. Don't mess up the bed too much."

I smile.

Ayato walks out the door, steaming and face red like a tomato.
