Kaneki!

I immediately wake up and jump out of bed. I grab my shoes, put them on, and race out the door.

What is this even about?

All of a sudden, I hear a loud boom noise and I notice that a building not too far ahead of me has fallen to the ground. I run towards it.

Maybe everything's taking place there...

Once I reach the location, I see people fighting. Not only that but I also see bodies on the ground. They're all either dead or gravely injured. 

"I'll only ask once. Let me pass."

It actually got...louder...

I begin to run again but then I get a painful feeling... It's only in certain areas: my stomach, left arm, and left leg. Despite that, I push onward but this time at a slower pace. As I keep going forward, I see men in white coats and ape masks and women wearing all black including their masks. The only thing that really stands out with all of them are their eyes. They shine bright red in the middle and black in the other areas. 

Those can only be ghoul eyes.

They attack people with black and gray military like outfits. They all have weapons but that doesn't matter. They keep getting slaughtered by the second. 

"All this violence...is there any reason for it? ...If I had a choice I would choose not to fight you...but I don't."

There's explosions everywhere...but I keep going. The bodies keep piling up. More buildings are starting to fall apart.

I thought you were different from other ghouls but you're just another heartless killer aren't you?!

Kaneki...who's saying that to you? That's not you at all...and I know it...

My body slowly begins to feel weak. It feels worn.

"I meant it. I wish we didn't have to fight each other."

He's fighting... I thought so. That would have been the only reason for all these injuries occurring at once.

"So what's you're name, if you don't mind me asking?"

Of course...he never really was a mean person...

People are running across the rooftops of buildings that have not yet fallen. They're most likely ghouls because I see even more investigators rushing toward them with their weapons. It's an all out battle. Two new men appear and they seem to have newer, more powerful weapons. The ghouls who once had the upperhand no longer do and begin to get mercilessly slaughtered by the doves.

My left arm starts to feel worse. It seems like its broken. I'm not able to move it.

"Hide..."

Kaneki's with Hide! That's good...

You...knew, Hide? 

"Sorry Kaneki..." I say aloud as I continue to move forward.

I didn't exactly want to tell you either...but now you know... Wait...

I smile.

He's laughing. He hasn't done that in a while... Kaneki really needed that. You always know what to do Hide.

I feel a sudden weight on me. It feels like I'm holding something...or is it someone?

"You're going to be ok."
