"As you wish..." Bright red tentacle-like appendages come from his back and towards me.

Before I can do anything, Kaneki jumps in front of me.

"I said that I'd handle it..."

"Move." Kaneki effortlessly removes Miki's tentacles out of his body.

"Sorry bro..." I say. "But I'm gonna be the one to fight him."

I rush towards Miki and almost immediately he uses his tentacles to get a grip on me. He's too fast and he takes hold of me.

"Got you." He says.

"I have those too, you know..." I feel one of my eyes turn black and red and identical looking tentacles come out of my back. I pierce him in his sides and he drops me.

"You're still as strong as ever, Kika..." Miki says.

"Yeah...maybe even stronger with these." I reply.

"I'll still win...just like the last time we fought."

"I think not!" I attempt to punch him but he catches my hand.

I try to kick him so he'll release me but he catches my leg.

"You guys handle the others!" I yell.

"I doubt that they'll be able to do anything against them. They're all chimeras." Miki says.

"That seems interesting..." I say, using my tentacles to strike him.

He lets go of me and jumps backwards to avoid getting hit.

"In books I've read, chimeras are hybrids. Just how are they hybrids?" I ask.

"They each have two sets of kagune...just like I do." Miki says.

Kagune? So that's what these things are...

"You know Miki... I never expected to meet you again like this...as a ghoul." I say.

"Me neither. I never thought that down the line we'd end up fighting each other again."

"Yeah...but now it's different. We're on two totally opposite sides now."

"We don't exactly have to be. All you have to do is let me have a talk with Kaneki."

"...Why? Did he do something?"

"He killed one of us." Miki says.

I get a flashback of when we were back at the Aogiri Tree hideout.
