"Are you by any chance referring to a man named Jason?" I say, balling my hands up into fists.

"I am."

"Tch..." I turn my head. "Is that man even worth avenging? From what I've seen, his death actually seems like a good thing. He's just one less monster on this planet..."

"Monster? Are you talking about me as well as yourself?"

"No Miki... The monsters in this world do cruel and despicable things by choice and get pleasure and satisfaction from it. Sometimes people abandon their humanity and do bad things for the better. That doesn't make them bad people though. That makes them strong."

"...Shut up!" He rushes towards me and punches me in the face, sending me falling to the ground "You don't know anything!"

"And what makes you think that?" I say as I sit up and try to get off the ground.

"...When I came here...I actually made some friends. I saw them cry... Seeing that made them cry! I never want to see them do that again..."

"Tell me Miki...just how did you meet them?" I ask.
